My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights and it was a perfect place to stay. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, clean, and quiet at night. The staff was very gracious and helped us with everything we needed, including a near-miss with our cab to the airport at the end - the gentleman working did everything he could to help us and ended up calling every cab company that morning to try to get us a cab when ours didn't show - service above and beyond! (And we made our flight) The breakfast served was fresh, varied by day, and the kitchen made me an egg each day when I asked. The location was perfect for exploring all of Lisbon, using the trains, busses, and trams. We highly recommend this hotel for your trip to Lisbon.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Downsides as follows: Coffee machine when working was grim and stale and rarely had cups. In bathroom no shampoo, just shower gel, mouldy bathroom tiles and the lights were way too bright plus a long wait to check in, our room itself was much smaller than expected , others seemed much nicer. The 'breakfast' was hilarious , each day an unidentifiable cake was brought out, that was it, no idea why there are reviews on here saying the breakfast was delicious, it didnt exist. Upsides, good location and fairly quiet when people werent shouting in the hallways, friendly cleaning staff, and the sheets were clean and changed each day and the room in general was very clean, also a cute cat wandering about too.

Excellent guesthouse within walking distance of many attractions. We enjoyed our three night stay at Casa do Bairro. The room was nice, especially the bed which was so comfortable. Blackout curtains and air conditioning were also a plus. Each morning's breakfast was delicious and the staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is pleasant. The property was located within easy walking distance to the Time Out Market and Pink Street. We were also a short walk from Baixa and there are loads of restaurants nearby. Extremely happy with our stay!

Loved it. Only stayed overnight joining my husband who'd stayed the whole week. Great little breakfast, the staff were lovely & friendly & helpful. Our room was great & the whole place is quirky & full of vibrant fun art & quirky furniture, restored & old ... Will definitely go back.

The location, the breakfast and the cleanliness of the hotel was good except that My mobile phone was stolen from the locked hotel room. The hotel service was not helpful. The hotel didn't offer us any help in any way, even though we could locate it in Lisbon after we were back home

Come for the breakfast and stay for the room. We stayed one night while AirBNB was addressing problems with our accommodations, we loved it so much we stayed 23 days. The staff are amazing and the breakfast is incredible. Truly, a hidden gem in Lisbon. We highly recommend this place without reservations.

I stayed at Casa Do Bairro just before Christmas and I am so grateful I found this lovely and unique hotel! The Bairro neighbourhood can be noisy especially at nighttime with many bars a and restaurants but this hotel enabled me to get a quiet sleep while still enjoying a lively neighbourhood. I unfortunately got a stomach bug while travelling (not from the hotel) and the staff were very kind and helpful. They checked in on me and even gave me some plain food and tea from the kitchen to help settle my stomach. The breakfast buffet is GREAT, I can't recommend it more. Fresh fruit, juices, baked goods, charcuterie, eggs, yogurt, and hot savoury items as well. You also get a free half bottle of wine when you check-in which can be enjoyed on their cute terrace. Overall, I had a fantastic stay here and there's really nothing that could be improved on. A wonderful boutique hotel with charm and warmth in a unique setting.

We were totally spoiled in this wonderful and quiet place with ever so kind staff. Extra spoiled for me as a glutenfree traveler as sweets at breakfast were foreseen even without asking. Definitely recommend!!!

I loved staying here for nearly a week and wish I could stay much longer! I’d recommend an upstairs room if you’re sensitive to noise. The breakfast spread is seriously amazing - the previous reviews about the sparse selection are outdated. Stay here!

Nice clean room, the layout of the room is a bit interesting but it is large and enjoyable. Staff was very helpful but they are only on location until 9.

They don’t answer their phone and don’t open the doors when you come from airplane that is late. No service whatsoever even when I left a message on their vooicemail and try to ring many time at their doors. Don’t waste your time on those types of hotels where you’re just a number disposable. They left me with no room to sleep tonight.

Overall not a great experience. Rooms were ok but definitely not the most clean - dead bugs, dirty floors, AC not working. Also no closet or fridge. Would have been ok except our shower was barely working. The drain was completely clogged so water was overflowing all over the bathroom and we were not able to shower. A quick 10 minute shower turned into an hour+ problem that lead us to miss our dinner reservation and our plans for the night, not ideal. Front desk staff was as nice and helpful as possible, but not an ideal experience. Also on a very steep side road without public transportation nearby (knew this coming in, but important to keep in mind). Our transportation to the airport at 5 am cancelled on us. Stayed at many places during our trip around Europe & this was by far our least favorite.

My family and I spent 3 short nights in Lisbon for a last minute getaway and everything exceeded our expectations. As a flight attendant traveling with my mother who is a travel agent, we are used to staying in different hotels around the world. Never have either of us experienced such a warm and welcoming environment. The ladies working the front desk made us feel like we were family. I was also with my two young children who were occupied with books and games while we were in the check in process. The family room we booked was beautiful, spacious, and above all- clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh, and homemade, which as an American it is the most foreign thing about our trips to Europe lol. Coffee was strong and also espresso available by request. So many restaurants around in a wonderful location with lots to do within walking distance. I was able to accomplish a lot in 3 days even with small kids! We didn’t want to leave but we are happy to say we will be back!
