I visited Olissipo Hotel during a work trip and I must say it is a very basic hotel. Simply good. Clean, silent and tidy, but not much more to offer. COVID measures work impecable and breakfast is ok.

Cute rooms, smaller than expected. But adequate. Decor is stunning in this hotel. The restaurant food was spectacular in both presentation and taste. The staff and barman were very professional and delightful in their customer service. The customer experience journey was an absolute pleasure. Well done!!

It’s okay, but nothing special. Reasonably quiet location but fairly near metro. Not even a free bottle of water in the room, never mind tea making facilities! The buffet breakfast had plenty of options and there was no shortage of anything.

Nice hotel, good location. Rooms are clean and staff is friendky. Breakfast had plenty of options and the dinner buffet was a great deal for 21 euro.

The front desk staff were absolutely lovely and extremely accommodating. I came in earlier than the check in time having travelled for 16hrs and they did not make me, they found a room and checked me in. Lionel the Restaurant Manager was extremely nice and had a lovely conversation with us. The star of the hotel is Bruno who in charge of the bar was the star of the hotel, creating custom cocktails. The hotel is a big dated but very clean and the housekeeping staff were lovely. Its in a great location with easy access to most of the attractions.

Centrally-located with easy access to shopping, Metro station and restaurants. Rooms are very basic but are neat and comfortable. There is a lot of noise from other rooms due to poor sound proofing and thin walls, but generally it’s a quiet neighbourhood so it should not be a massive problem. Friendly service and great breakfast.

Big shout out to Miss Carolina who helped us with trying to find routes to the Lisboa Aquarium. Somehow our WIFI did not work in Portugal. Besides that, we room was clean, mattresses were firm, and hotel location was easily accessible to the Metro. Lastly, the hotel had a good breakfast bar & waiters were friendly.

Great hotel, well placed for the Red and Blue metro lines for getting to and from the airport and into and out of the centre of Lisbon. Room was clean and serviced every day.

Location i pretty convenient, close to blue and red metro lines. Quiet place in neighborhood with many international restaurants. Decent breakfast. Only negative point is for windows that are locked and can't be opened by guests.

We stayed in this hotel during a short getaway in Lisboa. The staff is very friendly and polite. The bedroom was well prepared and it was clean. Brekfast buffet was delicious. I definitely recommend this place even though it is a bit further the hype of Lisboa historic centre.

Rooms were not bad, but okayish! Bed was comfortable, but few furniture was old. Service was good, nothing to complain. Location was good for me. Lots and lots of tourist, probably they have tie up with some your agency. Overall professionals hotel.

Hotel is overall quite comfortable, featuring a good breakfast, cozy lobby and friendly staff. However, the room was quite small and had poor sound-proofing (you can easily hear neighbours talking and moving around). Overall a pretty good hotel though.

As part of an organized tour, we stayed here for two nights with breakfast and dinner included. The room was small and furniture was basic and seemed dated. But the bed was super comfortable. It was quiet. No airplane noise at night. The bathroom didn't have any space to put clothes, hang up your towels, or put out your toiletries. Other than that, I thought it was a good hotel for a city stay. It was quite busy. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. I would stay here again just because of the food. Staff, especially in the dining room, was super kind. The immediate neighborhood was great to walk in. Lots of small restaurants, two nearby parks and close to El Corte Ingles. A Lidl supermarket is in walking distance. Not sure how close to city center as we traveled by private bus.

Overnight stay before proceeding to Salamanca. Room was great, slightly small... Requested for kettle and the room service sent a kettle, two coffee mugs and three sticks of sugar...but no coffee. Not sure what to interprete but assumed that coffee is very expensive ;( Breakfast is the usual but was packed during our stay. When checking out in the morning, the three lifts were crowded. After waiting for 30 minutes, decides to use stairway. Glad our room was only on 2nd floor. As the reception was crowded, checking out was a scene of confusion. Hotel is safety conscious. It has an SOS cord to be pulled in case of emergency.

Average hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I didn't like two things: first - you can't open the window. It's a trend that you can't open a window at some hotels, but I spent nights in three hotels this week and I could open window there. You must decide between sleeping in high temperature, or listening the noise of air conditioning and breathing dry air. For people with respiratory issues it's a problem. Another thing i didn't like was the access to the power plugs. There are none near the bed, so you can't charge your phone, headphones and powerbank during the night. Of there are two people with more devices at the room, it's impossible to charge all of them during night.

This is a superb modern hotel with large bathrooms and spacious rooms, meticulously cleaned every day. It has an extensive breakfast with v attentive, polite and friendly staff. Indeed, all staff are wonderful. This is a hotel which is 100% committed - in the smallest detail - to guests having a thoroughly enjoyable stay. This really is 'Service with a smile' Superb location: In the heart of the city in a good neighbourhood with many interesting restaurants. Armenian food, anyone?! There's even a Lidl nearby. The San Sebastio Metro is a 5 minute walk away, which is served by the Red and Blue lines. It couldn't be easier from the airport. A 20 min ride to San Sebastio Station at the end of the Red Line. Simple. However, the 4 different exits can be v confusing and are significantly far apart, so to avoid getting lost, pay attention (!): (From the airport): If the doors of the train open on the right, exit onto the platform and turn left. If the doors of the train open on the left, exit onto on the platform and turn right. IE Walk in the same direction that the train had been travelling in. (While you're at it, marvel at the stunning modern architecture of station with its huge, shiny ventilation pipes, clean lines, tiles and glass) In exiting the station, take the left exit and up the stairs. You will see a crossroads with traffic lights nearby in front of you, with the mature trees of Gulbenkian Park on the other side of the road. Turn right at the crossroads (without crossing). The hotel is located a few minutes away in the 2nd turning on the right (Avenida Miguel Bombarda) at the near end. To get further into the city using the Metro, use Blue Line from the same station (San Sebastio): You need either to use a different entrance, or, far easier IMO, use the same entrance, which, of course, takes you back onto the Red Line platform. However, you proceed to the other end of the platform, go up the stairs and follow signs to the Blue line. SO, if you are returning from the city using the Blue line, to find the best exit for the hotel, you head for the red line, and walk the length of the platform and up the stairs at the other end. It is easy when you get the hang of it. Remember; the exits are significantly apart. When we arrived from the airport we came out of the wrong exit, and Google Maps wasn't responsive, so we kept going in the wrong direction. Google Maps even took us to another exit using the correct road name! Painful! So, follow my directions meticulously and you'll be fine. AND FINALLY: The nearby free-to-enter Gulbenkian Park gardens with their ponds, lakes, water features, sculptures, mature trees, sunny open grass areas, superb brutalist architecture of the museums (if you appreciate such... as I do!), and delightful cafe are an utter joy. Absolutely must NOT be missed, and is just 3 minutes walk away from the hotel. There is even a wonderful ice cream parlour on the other side of the road from the park entrance. Lisbon is a delightful city with friendly, kind and helpful people. And if you have booked this hotel, you have struck GOLD! ENJOY! PS - Sorry, but I only have photos of the Park.

Pro: - nice clean bathroom - very good breakfast - helpful staff Con: - too noisy - many airplanes have their routs above the hotel (my window wasn't locking correctly so that could be part of the problem) - the room had only two socket's from which one in the bathroom; neither near the bed

This was our base in Portugal. Stayed here for 5 nights. Very centrally located. Every place we wanted to visit was within a 10 min Uber Ride and the metro station is a 5 min walk as well. Rooms very a little small but pretty good. The breakfast was okay. There is a nice street a 2 min walk away with various restaurants. Staff is very good and good service overall. I'd definitely recommend this and would stay here again. The airport is a little far away from here - about 20 mins drive but we had free airport transfers so didn't mind that and would prefer close to the city centre anyway. There's a mall - El Corte Inglés - which is also a 5 min walk.

Great hotel to visit! Breakfast was great and rooms were ok. A bit old furniture, but not distasteful

An excellent, conveniently located family friendly hotel. I found the bedroom to be very clean and well prepared and the reception staff were particularly helpful and professional, especially Giancarlo (hopefully I haven't butchered his name here!). I am delighted to have chosen the Ollissipo Hotel for our family city break and will definitely stay here on our return. Best holiday in years.

Loved it! Best service, great food and dining experience. Traditional portuguese cuisine, with a flair of French chef artistic presentation. The best Caipirinha I've ever tasted! Rooms were great! I slept so well on their beds. Comfy pillows and mattress!

Located less than 1.5 miles from the city center, this venue is close enough to venture out on foot. Unfortunately, the hotel is not updated, most rooms have a depressing alley view, staff is inattentive - dare I say, dismissive - and the beds are hard, unforgiving and small. With other venues closer to the city center, this hotel should NOT be at the top of anyone’s list.

The hotel is really good. And the place around, too. Very close to Corte Ingles so if you like shopping, it is for you :) I don't and I prefer small local bars, there are several around. And a few small markets around where you can buy typical Portuguese food. Delicious!

Nice hotel, not far from Sao Sebastian metro station, especially if you use the Red line. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast with lots of options. Rooms look nice and clean. TVs are not smart, so no Netflix :)

The hotel is located in approximately 20-25 min walking from the banks of the river and historical downtown there fado places and all other local attractions are. It is also within a block from the art gallery with beautiful surrounding garden/park and about 10 min from the hill with a fountain and a beautiful view if entire city. The rooms are spacious for Europe and nicely isolated. Baths are well maintained and renovated, rooms are clean and neat. Overall, nice hotel for a few nights in Lisbon. Plenty of local eateries around, with a couple of grocery stores in between.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be disappointed. Food was great. Only went to the restaurant. The set up was also elegant. I would go back there to eat.

PROS: The room was good, very clean and the shower pressure was excellent. Breakfast was lovely every day, with the freshest fruit juice I have ever had at a hotel. LOVED the breakfast buffet. When we showed up the first day, there was some champagne and cake in our room courtesy of the staff for our anniversary, which was greatly appreciated. CONS: The room was right near the elevator which was much louder than expected. That made it harder to go to sleep. Room service was alright but the increased prices of the menu PLUS the service charge felt excessive. I was happy to pay either increased price OR service charge. Both were a bit ridiculous.

The room was dangerously slippery on all surfaces and there wasn't a single outlet on the bed wall. Horrible accessibility. Wouldn't stay there again for free.

The Hotel Room, the staff, the breakfast is very very good. 4 stars because of the fact that the hotel is not a good starting point to discover the city. It is too far away from the monuments or sightseeing places of Lisbon.

  • 1/5 Bence S. 1 year ago on Google
Please please dont come here if you want to rest. The walls are made of paper, its impossible to sleep, you basically hear everything from the halls, from all directions, you can even hear the airplanes taking on and off from the airport. By the way room was clean, breakfast was okay…

  • 4/5 Nina C. 1 year ago on Google
Booked so we would be close to the airport for our early morning flight. We had our nap interrupted for a complementary sweet. The sweet was delicious but I would suggest giving it to guests on check-in and definitely not knocking on their door for that. We had lunch at a restaurant just on the other side of the street (Maria Peixeira) and that was so good.

No really hotel lobby to speak off. Rooms are decorated like dorm rooms, small & cheap. Breakfast is not great, cappuccino from the machine has chocolate in it. WHY!!!. I would have chosen hit chocolate if I wanted a chocolate drink. Only good this is the location. Don't know how this is a 4 star hotel

  • 5/5 Naama A. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent hotel. Courteous staff who always help. The hotel is very clean and maintained. Excellent breakfast. The location of the hotel is great. Close to the metro so you can easily get anywhere, excellent and non-commercial restaurants, supermarkets, in short there is everything. Spacious and comfortable room. Highly recommended!
