The location is just perfect. The room is well organized and is clean (they keep it clean) with enough space and well equipped. Aesthetically speaking also everything is ok. An extra tip. At the ground floor there is a lady that makes really delicious sandwiches.

The room was good. It’s wide enough and you can cook in the house. The location was perfect. Near subway and more safe compared to others. All keepers and workers are kind. They arrange room well and always say hello to me. However, the only problem was manager’s attitude. There was a problem to store my luggage before check-in. Since they did not offer direct contact from Agoda, I ask through Agoda. However, the manager said he never recieved the contact from Agoda and I couldn’t store the luggage at first. I talked with both the manager and Agoda and nobody admitted there mistake. The manager told me that he never recieved contact and “will not” come to store my luggage. However, since the manager is a human too, he can also make a mistake. And even if it’s not true, the right attitude as a “manager” is listen to the customer and try to solve the problem if it’s possible. Indeed, there was a way, seeing as he came after Agoda service center called him. I also tried to make the situation better so, say “Sorry my brother” first, but he replied, “I’m not your brother”. This is NOT a manager’s attitude. He didn’t apologize at all during 3 days of staying. I had a lot to say, but I held back because I was a traveler who didn't have a place to sleep right at the moment. You should not treat your customers like that since you don’t know who they are. Please learn the right attitude for your good apartment. Do not avoid your customer’s problem any longer. L

Worst room service I have ever seen. There was a bad smell when we checked in, I asked for an extra blanket and reminded several times and they still couldn’t deliver it. They also cannot properly refill the soap at bathroom. Otherwise average place.

Didn't stay at this one myself, but my cousin was there so I visited here, room itself was very nicely decorated and to a high standard, with a kitchen and bathroom Maximum for 2 people. as not a huge amount of space to move around. though I believe there are bigger rooms just this one was a smaller one with one double bed. Located less than 5 mins more Baxia station very good location, so easy to get around. A little bit more on the pricey side.

Before I begin, I would like to note that I rarely provide negative or even "average" reviews. In this case, I am providing an average review of 3 stars because there are certainly some good things about Dream Chiado-- although I was wavering between providing a 2 star and a 3 star review. I decided on 3 stars because I think the "good things" are really worth mentioning. So, I will begin with the good stuff. Dream Chiado is in an amazing location. It is close to everything, and we explored all over Lisbon. Having explored so many other areas, I believe this location is one of the best in the city. Further, the price of Dream Chiado is ver reasonable. If. you are on a budget, the price can't be beat. Finally, it is really nice to have a little kitchen and place to sit for breakfasts or happy hours. We didn't do any "cooking" but it was great to have a coffee and pick up some wine, cheese, and crackers and breakfast foods at the Pingo Dos down in the Rossio area. The room was a nice size and much bigger than we anticipated for a European city. Now, on to the less-than-ideal parts of Dream Chiado. The most important and serious issue that we found was that the front door to the building was broken and could not be locked in the evenings. This felt like this was an important security issue to us (two women traveling alone), and we felt that anyone could enter the building and hang out in the halls with no problems. When we asked about the door, we were told that they were trying to get it fixed.. but we were there for 7 nights and it was not fixed in that time period. We didn't notice this issue the first night, so I would guess it was broken for at least 6 of the 7 nights we stayed. Next, the rooms are in need of some very basic care. Our room had water stains on the walls, the wallpaper was coming off the room, and the lamp was coming off the wall and the cord was completely frayed. Truly, it was surprising to see a place with such little attention to basic things like wallpaper coming off the walls. It looked terrible and made us feel that the room was dumpy without anyone caring for something so basic (I suggest the staff fix the water damage, remove the wall paper and just paint the room and fix the appliances.. it would be easy and do a lot of good for the room). Finally, we found the staff to be not especially friendly or helpful. We found the people of Portugal to be so lovely in the rest of the places we stayed.. we just had the feeling that the staff really didn't like us, no matter how nice we tried to be. It was just uncomfortable. Also if you need staff, note that they are not there all the time (this is fine, but you may not hear from them quickly even when you use Whatsapp to contact them after hours).Again, this isn't a big problem for us, but just something to note. I am attaching pictures of the room that shows the water damage and lamp coming off the wall.

Where do I even start with this hotel. I’ve only given this hotel 2 stars only for the location and the balcony view from the room other than that everything else gets 0 stars! We arrived at the hotel on the 14th to find the reception door locked. This was a problem throughout the whole stay as the staff were never there. Once one of the staff members arrived we were told our booking for the 3 nights doesn’t exist. We had an email to prove our booking and after he saw that email we were told our booking was cancelled on the 8th of Feb. I received no email to notify me it was cancelled and I most certainly did not cancel my own booking. Carlos was the one who served us at the time and he was very unhelpful and unprofessional! Luckily he had 2 nights available for us however he wasn’t able to give us our last night. We asked for some help to find near by hotel and again was very unhelpful, it didn’t seem like he cared that he was going to leave 2 25 year old girls homeless in a country we’d never been to. He eventually whatsapped us on our last night at their hotel saying “It's Carlos i tried to find something but my friend wee full too. I’m sorry about it” Luckily we took it upon ourselves to find a hotel the day we checked in. That wasn’t the only issue, the front door was broken and did not lock during the night. This a big security issue which they don’t seem bothered to fix! Our rooms also had issues with it. The ceilings looked damaged, broken drawers, dirty bed linen and bed frame… the list is endless. I rarely write reviews however this apartment hotel needs to be recognised for their unprofessional behaviour and uncleanliness. Was not happy with this stay at all.

Service: 5/5 - I was in constant communication with Natalie via WhatsApp! She was super helpful and very quick to reply. Comfort: 5/5 - The bed was fairly comfortable. Finally a room with a usb charger! Bathroom could have used a soap dish in the shower to hold the soap and shampoo. Noise: 3/5 - A bit of street noise but it was ok for me.

Nice place at a great location. I stayed in a corner room with 2 windows, balconies and views were great. People are very friendly and nice (person in reception and housekeepers) Only bad thing was there was a bad smell in the room, you feel it from the first second you walk into the room and it stays constantly. That could be because building is old. However, everything else is nice, beds are very clean and comfy. Noise isolation is not good, fyi for light sleepers.

I found these apartments through a Google search. I booked directly on the website because the price was good. It was eight months in advance. I emailed them about two weeks ahead to confirm my reservation, and they emailed me back to confirm. They also offered airport shuttle service for €30. So far so good! Upon arrival, I saw the front door was next to a small ATM machine. Then through the door, you walk up some steps to the front desk. The receptionist was available. She took payment by credit card and gave me just one room key card. Contact with front desk is by WhatsApp. When I would pass by whether morning or night during my trip, I rarely saw anyone in the office. That might be something to keep in mind if you like having help. My room was on the second floor. There is just one slow elevator, so I usually took the stairs. I think the housekeeping lives on the first floor next to the front desk. The room itself was spacious. Bed was comfy, had a microwave, separate bathroom. I think it would have been nice to have a place to hang bath towels to dry. There is only one hook, and I put a hand towel there. The Nespresso machine in the room didn't work, but I did not need it anyway. The location of the apartment is great! It's so close to the mall, which is really pretty during Christmas holiday. I could walk to all the places I wanted to see, like nightlife and restaurants. It's about a 15-minute Bolt ride to Belem. It's really easy to get a Bolt ride to/from the Lisboa airport. I recommend this stay if you can survive on your own without much help from the concierge.

Location is pretty good but the apartments need some fix up. Wallpapers peeling off, moldy showers, etc. Overall not a bad place to stay in Lisbon but not great either.

I would stay again as the location is great. The downside was that the bathroom had a substantial amount of mold on the ceiling, walls and glass shower door frame. Kitchen although not used was great.

The room we stayed has water damage in the wallpaper (the same one shared on Google reviews 4 months ago, apparently they are still waiting for someone to come and fix it). Location is good. You can park in the parking in front of the place for 25 EUR per day if you use an app called Telpark. Check-in was unnecessarily long, I recommend *calling* them to make sure they are there to greet you (Have fun waiting more if you don't have a good mobile plan to make calls :)) There is an elevator in the building, which is nice when you carry backpacks/luggage.

I would definitely stay again, the rooms are nice and in a great location with beautiful views of old Lisbon, rooms are cleaned daily and staff is very nice. There are a lot of restaurants, tourist attractions and shops nearby. There are small things to be corrected like tea and coffee in the kitchen or some equipment or furniture that are quite old already but this doesn't affect the comfort of stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. You can't beat the location, it's close to most of the interesting sights and bars/restaurants. Rooms are clean with plenty of space. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family when they visit Lisbon.

Dream Chiado was an amazing boutique hotel in a beautiful part of Lisbon. We loved our stay here and very much felt welcome as soon as we were greeted by Carlos. The room was a perfect size, very comfortable and clean with great facilities. We will be definitely staying here next time we are in Lisbon. Thank you Carlos and Dream Chiado for helping make our time in Lisbon so wonderful.

Good location BUT don't stay more 1 night, unless you can wait until 18h00 for your room to be attended to! Priority is for departures! I was told "Welcome to Portugal"!!!!!!!! Dire response and so not "português"

Convenient location, close to all and in a relatively flat area. Easy access to tram and bike rentals Very comfortable bedding, good size rooms, great views of the city (from the 4th floor), with a little kitchen with coffee and tea, hair dryer and soaps, and daily service and towel change. I would highly recommend booking the transport that is available as it was very convenient, clean, professional and on time.
