WORST HOSTAL EVER, DO NOT GO! Worst hostal ever. They have a lot of bedbugs, the place is dirty, there is nobody in the reception, the bar is open until 12 so there is a lot of noise and they say to leave the keys in the door so they can “clean” so anybody can enter the room. THE PICTURES ARE FAR AWAY FROM REALITY. I know that the place is cheap but that’s not a excuse to give the client a really horrible experience.

This hostel was absolutely disgusting! Please do not go there. When we arrived the lady at the check in showed us around but couldn’t quite tell us what she actually wanted to tell us because she didn’t really speak English and we don’t speak Portuguese. The door to our dorm was partially broken and there were for four beds only two lockers. Next to the mattress of the top bunk we found a toothbrush (used?). On the bottom bunk we found a bedbug. We immediately left. When we texted the owner to get a refund she only told us that we broke the door and they have video footage of us breaking the door which isn’t possible because in front of our dorm was another dorm, so therefore there would have been a camera in the dorm. Which she denied. We sent them the picture of the bedbug and they sad that it was manipulated and not taken at their hostel. Now they want us to come back and pay for the door we did not break. The hostel is in serious need of renovations, some reinvestment would be wise as the place is crumbling. The room I got was pretty sad, very tiny, box-like (practically no window, it was one of those that just opens up inclined). We also had a major cockroach in our room... The showers are pretty antiquated. The only thing that kind of saves this place is its location and price, but in my opinion the quality of the hostel is unacceptable. Nachdem dieser kein Englisch konnte sondern nur Portugiesisch konnten wir ihm mithilfe einer Passantin erklären, dass wir unser Geld zurück haben möchten, da wir hier auch nicht nächtigen konnten! Er machte den Anschein, dass der Chef sich mit Booking auseinandersetzen würde. Er tat überrascht, dass genau sie Bettwanzen haben und erklärte uns in der Sekunde darauf, dass das 5 Sterne Hostel gegenüber auch welche hat…. Nach einem 11€ teurem Telefonat mit Booking wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Vermieter zustimmen muss, wenn wir das Geld zurück haben möchten. Dieses tat er bis heute (4Werktage später) nicht. Auch in anderen Bewertungen (unter anderem auf Booking) wurde angegeben, dass der Vermieter sich melden muss und dieser dies nie tat und sie ihr Geld nicht wieder gesehen haben. Sehr schade, dass wir jetzt 85€ in den Wind geschossen haben. Dennoch versuchen wir es weiter unser Geld zurück zu bekommen auch wenn das viel Zeit und Kraft in Anspruch nimmt. Leider kann man hier nicht 0 Sterne vergeben ! Dennoch BUCHEN Sie NIEMALS DIESE UNTERKUNFT!! Ist nur ein Griff ins Klo!!! Geldverweschwendung! Verarsche! ABZOCKE!
