I'm so happy with this place. It's a smaller hostel, so it's a bit more intimate and gives you a good community vibe. The staff are awesome, it's in a great location, and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Staff is great. Big room is actually small, with three level beds. Hostel itself is small, can get noisy, especially on 2nd floor. They have a small bar. Breakfasts are good. A bit overpriced, tho the location is great.

Cheap, friendly, comfortable and a spectacular location. Close to the metro and train station, so the rest of Portugal/Lisbon is at your fingertips. Staff was knowledgeable and outgoing (shout-out to Anna & Melissa) and always knew where you should go next. I traveled here solo and it was a magical experience. Will be coming back

Great breakfast and comfy beds for a pretty decent price on a budget. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in our room, this wasn't a problem but I can imagine during peak summer this becomes quite hot. The shower was a bit broken too, which is why I can't give 5 stars. But still recommended as it has a great location

Amazing experience in this hostel at the city centre of Lisbon! Great rooms, great staff and lovely cakes and toast for breakfast. It's very close to all the attractions of the city and Metro (Baixa Chiado), or rail station. Strongly recommended!

pro: Lage ist für touristische Unternehmungen gut, weil sehr zentral. Die Betreiber und ihre Angestellten sind freundlich, die Unterkunft ist sauber. Con: Im Januar hat leider die Heizung nicht funktioniert, morgens hatte es ca 14 Grad im Zimmer und beschlagene Fenster... Fenster auf Augenhöhe mit den Besuchern der Kirche auf der anderen Seite...

Wenn man eine halbe Stunde vor Frühstücksende ankommt, bekommt man kein Frühstück mehr auch auf Nachfrage nicht. Einzelzimmern sind sauber, Gemeinschaftbad wird täglich sauber gemacht. Handtücher sowie Bettwäsche bekommt man wenns hoch kommt 1x in einer Woche aber nur wenn man ein Deal mit der Putzkraft aushandelt und das auch nur gegen Geld! Einzelzimmern sind im 3 Stock so das man seine schweren Sachen selbst tragen muss. Nur mal so zur Info: Keine Gleichberechtigung beim Personal!

Tolles Hostel, super zentrale Lage! Unser 2.er Zimmer war mit einem Balkon ausgestattet und hatte eine ausreichende Größe. Auch das Frühstück am Morgen verlief unkompliziert und mit netten Kontakten.

Perfect location! If you are a long time traverlor they help you out by finding work for you! Inside or outside the hostel. But that's the problem.. They didnt do their job well... That's why the Bath is not that clean and you have to be careful at the toilet because it's very instable.. At the moment there is an construction side next to the hostel so you don't need any alarm in the morning ;) And someone stole my yogurt out of the fridge :( Also we booked a room with Balkone and got one without..

Worst hostel I've ever been in (and I've been in a lot). Slept with 9 people on 9 m2, the beds were very crappy and the ladder to get to the top bed came loose. The top bed didn't have a railing to prevent me from falling down 2,5 m. The mixed showers have transparent doors and no place to put your clothes and towel and keep them dry. Lots of these things could just easily be fixed by the staff. Breakfast and location are good though.

Excellent hostel Very helpful staff, comfortable bed and shower room. When i arrived first day, I got a hitted by guesthouse owner - City Guesthouse Alfama. 5 Sins Chiado Hostel's staff very kind to me and told me what i could do. And then I went to the police station and asked for help. The hostel's guy who working there waited me until I came back. I was so grateful. Thank you guys here again!

It's a very good hostel. It's calm but close to everything nice is Lisbon, as the Bairro Alto and the Pink Street - less than 10 minutes walking. The place is clean and the breakfast is good.

Great location! The 9 bed female room I stayed in was was very cramped - 3 bed stacked on top of each other and not in a very big room either. The staff was super nice and friendly! Loved meeting and talking with them. The rest of the facility and the breakfast was great. Had a few drinks at the hostel, but they don't have recycling for bottles.
