After
a
minor
issue
(we
booked
the
room
the
same
night
that
we
were
staying
here),
we
were
able
to
get
ahold
of
the
management
via
cell
phone
and
they
were
able
to
get
us
into
Boho
Guesthouse
within
15
minutes.
Note
that
you
should
definitely
book
more
than
a
couple
hours
in
advance!
We
admit
this
mistake
was
on
us.
This
is
technically
a
Hostal
with
private
rooms
and
shared
bathrooms.
It
was
absolutely
the
best
private
room
Hostal
Iâve
ever
stayed
at!
The
proximity
is
unmatched
(centrally
located,
with
bars
and
restaurants
right
below
us).
I
saw
a
negative
review
on
here
that
mentioned
security
and
noise
complaints
and
would
like
to
clear
that
up
for
those
that
are
detoured
because
of
that
review:
Noise:
if
you
keep
the
windows
open,
there
is
a
lot
of
noise
below,
even
late
at
night.
The
street
below
is
a
bustling
street
with
bars.
Itâs
super
cool
to
see
it
in
action
from
above!
When
we
were
ready
for
bed,
we
closed
the
windows
and
were
amazed
at
how
well
the
windows
blocked
out
the
noise.
We
were
not
awakened
at
all
during
the
night.
Our
room
also
had
two
large
fans
to
circulate
air.
Iâve
had
worse
problems
with
hotels
that
have
thin
walls
-
this
did
not.
Security:
check-in
is
automated,
so
you
get
into
the
building
with
a
code
and
then
you
can
get
to
your
room
which
will
have
a
key
in
it.
You
can
lock
your
room
and
take
the
key!
Itâs
super
secure
and
makes
things
easier
for
all
involved.
You
can
also
lock
the
room
when
you
use
the
bathrooms
in
the
common
area.
If
you
have
complaints
about
the
bathroom
immediately
closest
to
you,
you
could
easily
use
one
of
the
bathrooms
on
another
floor.
If
you
want
a
bougie
hotel
with
a
bathroom
in
your
room,
go
somewhere
else
and
pay
100-200âŹ
more.
However,
if
you
want
a
comfortable,
proximal,
authentic
experience,
then
stay
here!
We
certainly
will
be
staying
here
again
next
time
weâre
in
Lisboa.
