Far from 5 star and you could find better for more value for money . The rooms are outdated and the management lost the line between efficiency and cheapness . They have nespresso machine in the room and they charge you 1€ per capsule . Also for water . And room service anything is an added 8€ even for something they were meant to provide . For example we asked for a spoon as the tea station didn’t have any they said they would send it and add 8€ to our bill . The food in the restaurant is very limited. Overall unsatisfactory experience for the money we paid and the advertised 5 stars . Would not stay again and would not recommend.

First impressions are amazing when you walk in to the lobby area, with this also being matched with the service at the front desk. We only had breakfast there, which there is good range of choice, from cooked food to fruit. The down sides to our stay here was that the double bed is 2 single beds pushed together, with just a sheet over them, so not the best. But also the gym and spa area are very small, and could do with more seating area next to the pool. 4 days after we stayed there im still waiting for them to return my deposit.

Definitely not a 5 stars hotel. The room is just ok but the carpet is really dirty and stained really bad. The bed 1st price and they give you water and coffee only one time, it doesn’t matter if you stay one or 30 days. Personal in charge is really unpleasant. Not a place to stay, you can find better places well located.

I would except a far better service from a 5 star hotel. The first problem was that many of the waiters barely spoke english, they did not understand basic things (not all of them, but more, than 1 or 2). But the main problem is we still have not got back our deposit difference, even though we left the hotel and paid the final invoice 8 days ago!! They said it would take only a few days getting back that money. Well, this not true...

We stayed here for 4 nights over New Year and overall were very happy. The rooms are a good size and the staff very friendly. It is out of town but only a 20minute tram or bus ride away from the old town We had a high room floor, which gave access to the VIP room from where we watched the fireworks. Our only critique would be that this room wasn't cleaned and replenished often enough. This meant that often the fridge had no water in it. Finally, whilst advertised as part of the Dom Pedro group, it is not actually still part of the group, and food, beverage, and spa discounts for club members don't apply.

It's a three star hotel by all standards. Very outdated. Untrained staff. Spa and swimming pool are minuscule. Overall experience is below average. I would not recommend this hotel. There are much better options available for the same or even smaller prices.

This is a lovely, old fashioned higher end hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are big and clean and we had an incredible view. Many of the facilities were closed due to Covid restrictions, but the hotel is in a good location to explore the incredible city.

Nice hotel but dated and the facilities are not up to 5 star standards. Internet was almost unusable for video calls. Breakfast was below average and chaotic. VIP business lounge had v limited resources and not well attended to...

Booked this outdated hotel solely to use their spa. Got down there and it was packed with screaming and splashing kids. Tried to stay positive but after the kids were left unattended by their parents and dove on top of us we had to complain. It’s the worst spa I’ve ever been to. Kids are allowed from 12-5 but they were there until 6. The spa felt dirty and had a super heavy and hot air. We complained about the kids but the front desk said they couldn’t control how many people were there - which is a strange and weak excuse. The hotel room was super outdated and felt dirty. Slept with the windows open only to be met with the sounds of the highway traffic on the 11th floor. Such a waste of money. If you’re looking for a relaxing spa in Lisbon, don’t go here. If you’re looking to take your kids to an indoor pool then this is the place for you!

Myself and my wife had an excellent stay recently at the hotel. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were greeted in the room by Champagne, port wine and macaroons! The staff at the hotel were very friendly and always had a smile on their face. The breakfast spread in the mornings was delicious and quite extensive in options . The staff deserve to be recognized for the immaculate cleanliness and presentation around the entire hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely spa free to use for guests (slippers, robes and towels provided) with pool, sauna, Steam room and jacuzzi and small gym (treatments available for a fee - I had a lovely massage) and lounge with great views. Private valet parking available for 17€. Great location, opposite the shopping mall. The 24E tram stops outside that takes you to Barrio Alto. Rooms had stunning marble bathrooms but walls were looking a little dated and one of our plug sockets was hanging off the wall. But very clean and well kept otherwise. Iron, hairdryer, TV, minibar and nespresso machine in room. Lots of complimentary toiletries. Comfortable beds.

We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and it was convenient to control the AC speed. The hotel's location near a shopping mall and buses made it very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and relaxing, though it would have been better if it stayed open later. One thing to note is that in the evening, staff would knock and walk into the room without prior notice. My teenage son was startled by this, but when I inquired at the front desk, they explained that it was for a turn down service and chocolate delivery. After that, we kept the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. It would have been helpful to receive this information beforehand or find a welcome letter in the room explaining these services and how to access all hotel information on the TV menu. Despite this, it was a wonderful stay, and I would recommend it.

I’ve been staying at this lovely hotel for 3 nights and still have 2 more nights. I’m in the 13th floor with a panoramic view exploring the city of “Lisboa” and I like the place. Everything regarding the breakfast, the spa, the hospitality, the staff and even the location; all are okay, but the problem which I announced the staff about from the 1st night was the “AC”, and they advise me to only adjust the control and it would function properly, which I did with zero results till it comes to the last night which was horrible, the room was getting too hot and I called the receptionist with a fast response sending a man from the Maintainance team who tried to fix the problem from the source outside the room and then after 1/2 hours he entered my room and tried from inside and finally he informed me that the problem is the computer system which I didn’t understand and his advice was to open the windows. I actually did that, but the noise and the expected light from sunrise made me shift to the “AC” which was improved, but unfortunately it stopped completely after 20 minutes and didn’t work afterwards. I started to get sweat and changed my clothes twice which made me sleep like 3 hours to the maximum. Now I woke up, AC is working but with the same poor efficiency and actually I don’t know how I could be compensated for that. Thanks in advance!

Perfect location but needs serious renovations . Breakfast is in a dark and not great start for the day . The staff are amazing . I recommend this hotel but renovations are a must . Everything too old and looks bad .

Ooh wow. The place was very, extremely nice. Very very clean, the room had almost everything, at one moment you would think you are in your own room at home. A very comfortable place. The staffs were very friendly and charming and sharp. You should visit here.

It’s a quite a walk from where the old town where it is more lively however there are plenty of shops and parks near by. The staff were helpful and friendly we really loved the surprise chocolate placed on the pillows every evening. The room were spacious and very comfortable. We loved the lovely message first time you enter the room. The view was on the road but as we were on the tenth floor it was stunning in my opinion. The spa and the gym was an added bonus. The two restaurants were nicely priced, we had the snack menu on the ground floor restaurant which were a delight. We would definitely look out for this place on our next trip to Lisbon!

Excellent five-star hotel. I had a room on the 17th floor overlooking the river, it's an amazing room with all the necessary amenities. I'd like to specifically mention the presence of an excellent bathtub in the room. The breakfast at the hotel is good, the selection isn't extensive, but everything is very tasty and fairly diverse. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I've scored 9 rather than 10 because the one thing that spoiled the room was climbing in and out of the slippery bath to have a shower. Felt treacherous and unsafe especially getting out when wet. Having said that, we are in our 60s. Perhaps younger people would feel more stable. Aside from that - great room, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent staff and ornamentation. Comfortable and well situated. Entire building has switched from AC to heat, so individual room temperature cooling was only possible by opening the window. Would have been nice to have the gym, pool and sauna open earlier and longer.

Employees in front desk are very friendly polite to welcome us and very helpful for our telephone charges adapter request. We love the Breakfast there with fresh fruits and different vegetables daily, especially all kinds of fruit and vegetables juices are amazing. Loved the welcome card hand written by hotel manager. Housekeeping are nice give us chocolate, fresh fruits and big bottle of water every day. Room service also very nice and fast. Thank you all for making our stay wonderful!

Stayed here for 5 nights as a part of a golf and stay package. The staff was super welcoming and helpful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfast selections were excellent. Bar was very cozy and the staff there was super attentive. Hotel lobby definitely gets busy in the early AM when tours go out but overall a great experience and left with a feeling that we stayed in a very good hotel.

It's ridiculous to see 5 stars for this hotel. It definitely requires a serious innovation, a lot of fixes of almost everything. Sound isolation is completely horrible. Breakfast was OK-ish, but again, it was very far from 4 or 5 stars. However, the staff is very friendly, they do everything possible for clients.

We loved the hotel, the staff, the comfy beds, the big bedrooms, the extra attention for the birthday of our girl, the location close to a shopping center where you have plenty of restaurant choices. Parking at the hotel and breakfast was more than enough for us. We relaxed at the spa and pool. Not modern decor but I could imagine the grandeur in the past. We had a great time!

The Dom Pedro Lisboa is a 5 star hotel in Lisbon and while I can say it was a fantastic hotel. I would say I give it maybe a 4.5 if I could. The only thing I would have liked it a better workout room with more equipment. Other then that I have no complaints really with hotel. It’s Beautiful, eloquent, calm, has more amenities then most hotels. The staff made sure to try and handle your every need. The breakfast buffet in morning was great. Beautiful views from bed room. I definitely would stay again. They have indoor pool and sauna/ steam room.

What can I say we had a lovely stay at Dom Pedro. After reading some of the reviews I was expecting a horrible experience. Yes the hotel is quite old but this forms the character. The entrance to the building and reception is beautiful. The pictures of the outside of the hotel does it no justice online. A lot nicer in real life and location looks better too. The rooms are not modern but spacious and clean. The bathroom was lovely. Agree they could do with some renovations but it wasn’t bad at all and I would recommend it in its current state. The staff are amazing. They even upgraded our room as it was my husband’s birthday and provided a little treat. Breakfast is absolutely delicious with lots of variety for everyone. I didn’t use the spa which looked small but really nice inside. Lots of people were using it. The gym is just something small to keep you going with a little bit of fitness while away but no major weights in there, and two treadmills. I’d like to thank Paula in particular who works in reception she is such a lovely helpful person. Gave us so many recommendations for restaurants and tours. I would also book the tour through them...it was great. All in all great stay thank you everyone at Dom Pedro.

Thank you for the wonderful nights I spent in your hotel. Many things were good: fast elevators, breakfast, reception workers, and candies for the night. However, I would like to tell you several things you can improve. 1. There were no slippers. That's a huge miss. The floor is cold and leads to flu. 2. The heater did not heat. It also leads to flu. 3. There are no big mugs for tea in the room. 4. There is no central switch to turn off all the lamps in the evening. I need to switch off one by one.

Room very good but not a very good outlook and a bit overlooked too so only 4 star overall. No garden or outside seating available for first 4 days. Weekend and bank holidays. However, direct access from rooms to spa is s superb and spa itself is of a good standard.

Beautiful hotel but they charged us for a movie we didn't watch. Claimed it was for 27 minutes but couldn't tell us when or what movie. In fact the guy couldn't explain any of the charges. Felt like we were taken advantage of since times are hard

It's very nice hotel. Super comfortable beds, great view on the river. Very efficient staff. Only one thing bothered me- you can hear sometimes people in room next to yours- except that--nice experience. Place is next to big shopping center with many shops, so you can get quick coffee or breakfast or buy some clothes, if weather will suddenly change. Hotel is 10 minutes walk from metro station.

We have only been to the Spa, we booked a spa day with massages for 5 people, the 2 ladies in there were the most gentle and attentive I ever had in Portugal. From the beginning of the day until we left they made sure we were comfortable and happy, offering tea and a quiet environment, paying attention to all the details and needs, the massages were sublime and attentive to detail, left all of us super happy and relaxed. The pool is a very nice area quiet and relaxing was a shame the steam room wasn't working but the day went for the best that we could have asked. Absolutely recommended 👌🏻

The front desk staff was friendly but it is a very old hotel, it might be 4 stars hotel, definitely not a 5 one. The spa area is small and usually packed with people, the jacuzzi was cold and there was no staff around to take care of that. There was no hot water at one point and their handy man had to come and fix the pipes. Not amazing.

  • 4/5 Glen And R. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is really well appointed and staff are 5 star. Couple things let us down. The AC in the room was the weakest out of all 25 hotels we had stayed at in Portugal. Made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. We ordered snacks at the lobby bar and they were delivered frozen in the center. This should not happen at a 5 star hotel. Other than that we would recommend this hotel.

Service staff is very friendly, check in took a long time. Room service is speedy and attentive, however a but expensive for the quality. Hotel is in dire need of an update. It opened in 1998 and it has been stuck in time ever sense. It is clean and in a convenient location.

2.75/5 stars. A pretty nice hotel with usual European intrigue. Everything is very nice and clean. The staff is very nice. The major issue is they turn the a/c off for the “winter”. For some this may be ok but for anybody from a colder place in the world 20 celsius + still requires a/c, and it was very hot and hard to sleep. It was also interesting that the glass on the shower doesn’t extend to the end and the water shoots out at the electrical outlet. The pillows and bed are also quite hard. For Americans, this is basically a La Quinta without a/c. If they had better beds and a/c it would be 4.5 stars

We have stayed in a suite with 1 living room, 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The room was nice, big enough and well cleaned everyday. We were impressed by daily cleaning. Though it wasn't dirty at all, but all-corners cleaned everyday! 👍 The lounge was a bit simple with soft drinks and an espresso machine that didn't always work. Nice view from room and outside hotel. Easy access to shopping mall, supermarket, bus stops to center. ps. elevator card worked with tricks. avrg. price: 220€/night

We enjoyed our stay during our visit in Lisbon. The hotel is located in a great location, except for being at the top of the biggest hill. But offer some amazing views. We were in walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shopping and sightseeing. As well as the Shopping Mall and Trolley stop just outside the door. We were located on the 10th floor with wonderful views of the city and surrounding areas. The room was quiet and peaceful. The comfort of the bed was phenomenal. We had a great night sleep every night. The room was very large in comparison to most European hotel rooms. We stopped at the pool and spa which looked very refreshing, but due to our sightseeing and late evening schedule we were not able to enjoy it. The staff was pleasant and friendly and very attentive. Overall, we had a great experience during our stay in Lisbon.

The room was nice but not as good as expected for a 5* hotel and it was not cheap at all. Breakfast was delicious, the staff is mostly friendly. Location - it is on a hill in the city but a bit far from the centre. Gym is veeeery small, too small for a 5*. Cleaning in the room is done ok but the cleaning ladies do not speak English, also some of the towels are very old, some are even having holes. Staff expects tips for every question you ask...

  • 5/5 Judit F. 1 year ago on Google
Nice and friendly hotel with great service, tasty breakfast, also with a nice view on the top of a hill. I can only recommend it. The only downside is the location, if you'd like to use only public transportation: you need to take a bus or tram to get to a metro line and these run in unreliable intervals.

  • 2/5 Behzad V. 1 year ago on Google
It’s not a 4 star hotel!! In best case a 2 star! Super loud with renovations during our stay in our room. No cleaning service after 2 days. I literally had to call them and ask someone to come and give us fresh towels. Unlike so many hotels coffee capsules for coffe machine in ur room are not free. In December the heating system is not working and the air conditioner is just blowing cold air. Mattress is really old that I have backache. And the chairs in room or in lobby are so old and uncomfortable. It seems there’s zero maintenance considered for this hotel. I can’t recommend it at all!

  • 3/5 Denis A. 1 year ago on Google
My room was not made on the first day, even after I reported it to reception. When made the following day, the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Strong smell of some parfume in the lobby and restaurant, does not go well with the food. Quality of breakfast food is very average, coffee is terrible. The room is not well soundproofed, I could hear what people are saying in the room next door. Nice little swimming pool.

  • 1/5 Oana S. 1 year ago on Google
Nothing is 5star worthy.Very small rooms, the king size bed is actually 2 mattresses put together that would split up during sleep. Not comfortable at all! There s a coffee machine in the room, but you'll only have coffee the first day, the other days they ll charge 1 euro per coffee. Average breakfast.

After trying many 5* hotels in Lisboa was a nice surprise! Hotel is already not the newest but all is nicely decorated and very clean. Service was all very attentive and polite in reception and in restaurant. Overall very happy with experience and if I need to come for next business trip, I choose the hotel !

  • 5/5 michael c. 1 year ago on Google
My wife and I spent two evenings at this hotel and found it truly amazing. The hotel shows grandeur and the staff were extremely helpful. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant on both evenings. The buffet breakfast had a great selection and assortment of food which was fresh and delicious. The dinners were most enjoyable and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel is located in a great location close to a major shopping mall. The tram (No. 24) located at the front of the hotel made it easy and quick accessibility to the downtown core and major attractions. The hotel also hosts a steam shower, sauna, pool and hot tub which we took full advantage of. If your in Lisbon for business or pleasure this hotel would be highly recommended for a pleasant stay.

  • 4/5 Mychael P. 11 months ago on Google
Had a wonderful few days and located so close to the mall for shopping! The service was extremely friendly and always what to help you ! Only downfall of this hotel was the fitness center only had ten pounds weights and the machines were old and out of date for weights but you walk about 10 miles a day outside so that was fine . Would stay here again due to the friendly staff and how hospitable they were

  • 3/5 Andres S. 11 months ago on Google
The hotel itself is nice and the location is good for site seeing, but the VIP lounge here has been very disappointing. The coffee machine is frequently down for service and the bottle opener is frequently not in the room, so when you go to the lounge I hope all you wanted to do was sit and look at the view.
