I was satisfied staying here. I chose a cheap option as I only use this place to sleep and shower. The rooms were clean, the sheet, the blanket and the cushion were washed and smelled good. Every room has a "balcony-window" which is typical for Lisbon. The temperature during the day was fine and perfect at night. Yes, the traffic and Sometimes people can be noisy, but what do you expect from a central place? Plus, you have one of those small trams driving along the street. It looks great but can be Heard. The staff was friendly and helpful. The toilets/showers were cleaned daily. It is a few walking minutes to the metro station, where you can reach the next beach within 20/30 minutes. For visiting the City, just step outside door. Its perfect for the low price

It was quite difficult to find its reception, then our room was not ready for check-in despite our late arrival, we have to wait in the reception for about 20 minutes until the room got cleaned, debit card machine didn't work, we were lucky to have cash with us. The room was very cold, it has a heater which was super noisy. Toilet quite dirty and smelly. Apparently were another people renting for long term the other hostel rooms, they were watching TV a very high volume all day, also someone owns a parrokit or canary that was singing all times 😅

The situation is really good - the famous tram 28E station is just in front of the building and the metro station 5 minutes to walk. But rooms and equipment are very primitive. When you arrive, it's not clear how to come inside, and if there is a reception.

It's quiet, the landlord is super cool and ready to help anyway. The neighbourhood is great. It's 2min walking to 2 metro station and 10 min walking to downtown.

The price of the accommodation is awesome. The cleanliness is as good as it can given the age of the building - 200 or more years old. The toilet bowls are always clean and no stain which is very important. My room has a balcony overlooking the street and beyond. It is one of the three rooms with balcony. The rest of the rooms all have windows. there are lots of good food, drinks and groceries shops around. it is very convenient. Good Nepalese food.

I came this hostel after 4 years. It looks totally changed and improved. I stay here for 7 days with my family. Rooms are very clean. Staffs are kind and helpful. Freedge and micriwave are availabe to store and warm food. Very quite and peaceful now. By its price, this hostel is superb. Recommend for regular travellers, economy price. Located near by some wonderful tourist locations like Castle, Graca, Alfama and 10 minutes walk from the city center...

Dirty and bad smell everywhere, the furniture is old and rotten, the pillows and blankets smell like sweat.. I don't recommend it. A few km from the historic center.

The hostel is nothing less than a hidden gem in a busy and expensive AirBnB district swamped with tourists. It full-fills all the requirements of a nice cosy hostel, the best part is that it has nice clean separate rooms, for someone not willing to share rooms or sleep in bunk beds, this is ideal! The rooms are fresh from recent renovation, so everything is well maintained, you might need to shut the windows closed if you’re not a fan of the tramps and usual traffic noise from the narrow streets downstairs. Each floor has multiple toilets / washrooms as well as a fully functioning kitchen, all of them very well maintained and cleaned. The staff is very kind, both Adnan and Shahzad were humble and kind to the guests. The lift is functional but small, so during peak hours you might have to wait slightly. Main building and each floor has its own key, as well as individual rooms, so security is not an issue, the whole facility is monitored by CCTV cameras. Location: Situated in a very convenient location where you can get the tramp 28 at your doorsteps. You can find shops, laundromat, cafes and restaurants right across the street as well as access to busy market at a 5 minute walk.

Elevator access. Rooms are relatively spacy. No kitchen but a refrigerator. Bathroom is OK, not a luxury. Some rooms and bathroom have odour from sewage. Breakfast from cafe at opposite side of the street.

One of the best hostel I've been in ! The owner was really nice and helpful. The location was so great (a room just above the mythic line 38 is just class) Obviously the room was rly nice with an amazing view and clean as well. ( if you are lucky the owner might buy you a drink or two even if the shops are closed ;)

Hostel with a minimum of comfort but well located, good reception and price. The breakfast isn't big but good. Internet sometimes fail but has good signal.

A beautiful place to enjoy the City. The building is authentic and old and you feel a little bit like a local coming back at night. Also loundry, supermarket and coffee shop right next to the door.

If you are looking to be on your own, it might be your place. Nobody speaks good Portuguese or English and they don't follow their cancellation policy. Pillows stink and the toilets are roughly cleaned. You can get better options for the same price.

Warning⚠ Really stupid unsafe place to stay and not trustful staff. From my locked room they taken out personal things from my bags and return it when I proof on them. Advice not to stay.
