The worse hotel experience! Every time we wanted to go back to our room, the key card didn’t work. It isn’t very comfortable after going to 10th floor to go back to reception with the stroller, baby and the bags - each time + had to wait in a line to get back access to our room. Receptionist asked first time that if I had phone in the bag. I’m sure that I’m not the only one having the phone in a bag with the keycard in it. Next day she said that the card cannot be in the bag with the credit cards. On the third day we put the card to my 2-year old backpack. Still didn’t work. The woman in the reception was every evening the same and said that this is not her problem that it’s hotel’s problem. Who should solve the problem then? She was impolite, didn’t listen to me, interrupted me all the time and then said that she doesn’t talk with me anymore. Who should help the clients in the hotel if you cannot go to reception? She didn’t wear any name tag, after asking her name she wrote it to a paper and said that I have her name and that’s it, she won’t talk to me anymore! She even claimed that I have a problem with her personally. Really? I was in last 3 weeks in 5 hotels in 3 different countries and never even had to go to reception except check-in/check-out. Location is very bad. Our bad, that we didn’t look carefully and trusted the hotel by its name. Metro is nearby but if you want to go to see tourist attractions then you should change metros/buses/trains , 2-3 times. The day that we arrived somebody was painting the wall next to our room. This was also interrupting because I felt this smell all the time. Rooms looked old and outdated. Superior room doesn’t worth the name. It’s easier to choose another hotel for not having troubles!

Our room had mouldy showers and sinks, the bed squeaked every time you moved at all, I could hear our neighbours conversations, only warm water to brush your teeth regardless of how long it ran, and to top it all off they surprise you with a parking fee. Morning staff seemed like they couldn't care less and said they needed a supervisor to see if they could do anything for us. The only saving graces are it's near the airport, there's a fantastic chicken restaurant around the corner, and the hotel bartender was very nice to us and got us some cutlery even though he was very busy.

We stayed 3 couples in 3 different rooms. In each of them there was no drinking water. I woke up thirsty in the middle of the night and wanted to drink some tap water. It was either boiling hot or warm one from the tap. Unacceptable for a 4 star Hotel. The room was nice, but that's about it.

Had a great stay of 9 days at the Ramada in August. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Best to make sure to get a room on the upper floors facing the front side. The view is beautiful with morning sun.

Good hotel with nice rooms and amenities. Located near the airport, has spacious rooms with a kettle & small fridge. Metro station is very near. The only issue u face is there r no shops or restaurants nearby. However breakfast is good.

Ac doesn’t work in the rooms. Rooms are dated and hallways reek pf cigarrets. Do not stay at this place. It is also very fat from all the main attractions in the city

We had a great stay at the Ramada Lisbon - very clean and comfortable room. Staff were great. The Hotel is not that close to downtown, however the metro was literally just outside the door and we got everywhere we wanted to go almost within minutes. Great info if you are flying in. An excellent Launderette was close by and a shopping center if you need some groceries. Would certainly recommend. TG

This hotel is poorly run. We repeatedly let the front desk know our TV was not working properly. The channels wouldn’t change, we were unable to turn it off and no VOLUME! The beds are uncomfortable and not properly made! King size bed with double size mattress bad. Don’t roll over, your stuck on seams that stick out from the pad. Then to top it off, we were told we could NOT buy a cup of coffee unless we paid for an entire breakfast! I expected better from Ramada and you should too. I would post pics but there’s no option

A very nice hotel. The Ramada by Wyndham Lisbon is located in a residential area. Close to the metro and bus station, a few steps away. Very well connected with the city center, the airport and the rest of the city. The hotel itself is very clean, the service is polite and friendly, always smiling. Food in the form of a buffet very tasty and a large selection, everyone will find something for themselves. Very fast WiFi in the hotel and rooms. Rooms large and spacious, cleaned daily. The room has an iron, ironing board and a kettle with a set of teas and coffee. The rooms on the upper floor offer a beautiful view of the river. We lived on the 18th floor, there was a great view of the Tagus River and the sunrise. I recommend this hotel 100%, the time we spent here was another nice experience. We will gladly come back to this hotel again. Best regards.

Rooms are good and clean, but it's the location that puts it over the top. It may look a bit off the major points of interest, but it's literally on a subway station, thus you can get to downtown or to the expo area in no time. Definitely recommended!

Cleanliness stood out most and the friendliness of the staff even when they had a rush on. Must be a popular hotel as there were often coachloads of travelers. I stayed for long weekend with family and we would have no hesitation to stay there again and will be recommending it to friends and family. 3 stars for service simply because sheets were a bit tired and tea/coffee not topped up. However, not a problem as staff always obliged brought towels and stuff to the room.

This is a great hotel with many river view rooms. 18 floors starting at the Lobby, this is an upscale Wyndham property. Restaurant and cafe onsite with an option of having breakfast buffet included in the room rate. The food at the breakfast buffet is extensive but was not as good as we would have expected for this upscale place. Tables are preset with everything except the plates which enhances the upscale appearance. We paid 10 Euros per person daily for the breakfast instead of adding to room rate so we could eat elsewhere if we wanted. Rooms are made up daily during your stay which wasn’t expected by was a pleasant addition. The hotel is also only a half a block from the Metro entrance in a mostly residential area, scattered with other restaurants and shops well within walking distance.

We had a one night stay courtesy of TAP airline after they canceled our flight to Tenerife. Very courteous staff, good location and the included buffet dinner was quite good also. The room was a typical hotel room, very clean and fresh, just a bit small after staying in an apartment for a week.

This is not a 4-star hotel. Two at best. The staff was very nice but the room was gross. Carpet was sticky, the bed was a motel bed (seriously, I have not seen a bed like that since college), there was no conditioner in the shower, the shower water temperature fluctuated wildly, and the AC made some crazy loud banging noise - there was no chance of keeping it on. (I took a video to capture the insane noise it was making.) TAP sent me there after a delay had me miss a connecting flight. It was already late, otherwise I would have gone elsewhere. Not a good ending to an otherwise lovely trip. I do not usually write reviews but this one was necessary.

Really nice hotel. Perfect location: right by the stop Olaias. Cool and very friendly reception people. We came here for my husband’s birthday, I mentioned it while booking the hotel. They prepared us a super cute and tasty birthday cake as a surprise! This made our trip more happy and amazing :) thank you Ramada Lisbon :)

Just checked in and can’t wait to check out again. Please make sure you get refurbished rooms. Mine is rocked down to the ground… strongly recommend to stay away! After I changed my room to a slightly better one, I had to fix the window shades myself. Checking out I left a second business card for the invoice which is still missing… One ⭐️ is already too much.

Good hotel in a great location 1 min walk to metro which connects you around the city! It’s around 15 mins from airport by taxi we used Uber was around €8 and averaged around €5/€6 to most other parts around city from hotel! The room was fine plenty of storage cleaned daily with change of towels and fresh bottle water. There is a kettle and iron in each room overall great hotel comfortable bed ideal if you want to explore the city. We did have the breakfast included which is a typical buffet continental type. Good quirky of stuff that was there but would have liked some more veggie options. Maybe there was but we didn’t ask. If you are using metro buy daily travel card from machine at station it’s around €10 can be used on all public transport for 24hr.

Gerne mal wieder.

Excellent hotel, beautiful view of the sea and the city. The metro is right in front of the hotel. The location is good because in just a few minutes you are in the strict center of Lisbon. the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Nice clean safe quiet hotel with friendly staff next to a Metro station. My room was on 7th floor with a nice view. The breakfast was amazing!👍

Good location near the subway. The view from the hotel is very nice if you stay on a high floor. The rooms were big enough and had decent amenities. Bathrooms were very clean which was nice. Breakfast at the hotel wan’t very special and costs 10 euros. Would prefer to go to a local bakery down the street where you can have much nicer pastries for half the price.

I can't understand how this is a 4 star hotel. The restaurant was not open all the time, for diner sometimes jut the buffet was available. The rooms are smelly, falling apart, i was extra careful when lying on the bed as it was so unstable and squeaky. The bathroom doors are starting to root and ceiling fall apart (pictures attached). I waited for my clothes to be washed and delivered to me for 3 days (the regular service is supposed to take up to 24 hours max as advertised by them). The room key was constantly failing, i had to get the key reprogrammed daily., and there was quite a bit of people with the sam issue on the reception every time i was there. The pluses are: ironing board an iron were in the room, public transportation is close.

Perfect! The room is spacious and the bathroom is new. And you get a great view on the city or the river:) The service is amazing. Changing the bedsheets and cleaning the bathroom everyday!

The room was clean and spacy. The heating was not working but immediately after I announced, somebody came and fixed it. The rooms from the upper floors have a beautiful view. There are well equiped and elegant conference rooms. There are two restaurants. The modern art on the walls in one of them was a bit disturbing from my point of view, but the food was very tasty and the staff was doing a great job. There is also a well equipped gym and a shopping center nearby. Very close to the metro station.

Great location from the airport and easy quick access to the city centre by the conveniently located metro right outside of the hotel. Great check in experience by Barbara who spent time to show us the map of the local area and recommendations for our stay. Special thank you to her. Rest of the team we interacted with during our stay were polite and pleasant. The room loses a star for the quality of the shower with the pressure

Very nice hotel. Comfortable rooms; ours was small but perfectly laid out and there were no concerns. Fabulous desk staff checked us in and got us settled quickly. The restaurant was very good, with nice wines, fair prices and excellent service. I'm not really sure what this might be near; it was a pretty good cab ride from the Oriente station and it's not near the downtown or other sites I'm familiar with!

We booked 4+ months in advance and expected a room with a view. Instead, when we got there, we were put in a handicapped accessible room looking out into an alley and trash dumpsters. We were told they were booked solid. Ummm, yeah, that's why we booked so far in advance. The room was a room: it was tiny and had a bed. (I can't imagine someone with a wheelchair managing to navigate.) We also experienced a lot of hallway noise throughout the evening. On the up side, it is right across the street from a Metro station. Won't stay here again.

Great location, easy connections to the city and airport via a metro station just outside the hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. We did not have a reservation and just walked in, and also got offered free breakfast with our stay. One of the best options in Lisbon I would say, not that expensive for all the perks.

This hotel was straight awful. My room was gross. Smelled so awful. Old everything. Water is brown. Just let it fill up the tub a little and you will see. Avoid avoid avoid.

I recently stayed at this hotel, but it failed to live up to expectations. The rooms had a strange smell, there was no conditioner with the shampoo, which itself was of poor quality. The water temperature during showers was inconsistent, and the wardrobe doors were difficult to move. The food was monotonous and boring. In conclusion, while the hotel has some redeeming qualities such as its convenient location near the metro and friendly staff, it falls short of the expected four-star standard in many crucial areas.

100% above and beyond service. The people who work here are amazing. Carlos and Marco are some of the best humans you will ever meet. They helped me with everything from navigating around the city, calling Ubers, helping me try to find a lost item and managing all of my needs which were numerous since i was traveling with a baby and two older adults with mobility needs. The hotel was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the city and a restaurant and bar right on site. It is a little ways from the city but totally worth it for the price and the service. It’s also really close to the airport.. The room was so spacious and well appointed. Everything was wonderful, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

It is a good hotel. People are very friendly and helpful. They offered us free coffee. The rooms need refurbishing for sure. It is very old and looks dusty even though it is not. The bathroom also needs an update. There was no shampoo at all. It was not checked. The hot and cold water is unstable. Ups and downs 153 euros per night is too much for my experience.

Amazing hotel staff, they helped accommodate us every step of the way, from fixing a booking we made on the wrong day to helping us get a taxi to the airport. Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Rooms were spotless and the view was great. I’m very glad we stayed here - the staff helped make our day trip in Lisbon a fantastic one. Considering the above, the price was pretty affordable too. Would recommend!

Good location but that's it. Bathrooms have nothing but a shower cap & all in one body wash. My room had a good view but the service was too low for a 4 star hotel. I f you are looking for luxury, don't stay here.

Great location right next to a Metro train stop. No Uber needed as It was a quick 8 stops from Lisbon airport or just a stop or two to get to the downtown areas. The front desk was awesome during check-in. They were also very helpful when asking questions about the area. The room was always super clean and the bed was nice and firm. We had an amazing view from the 14th floor. Will stay there when in Lisbon again.

The staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is in a convenient location (next to an underground station) but a little far from the old centre. The rooms are a little tired but everything worked as it should. The breakfast was OK but nothing was made to order so no fresh eggs or freshly brewed coffee.

This is not a four star hotel. The rooms have no sound insulation, so one hears noise from the street, from the floor corridor, and from neighbors on all sides. If peace and quiet are important to you, be very careful about booking this hotel. It is also understaffed, so that long lines are frequent at check in and -out. The desk personnel also serve as concierge, so likewise, count on waiting for touristic advice. Breakfast has no hot cereal, and juices are either watery or extremely sweet. I had an air conditioner problem, and waited a long time (half hour) for a woman to show up, who then said she did not handle air conditioning, and would call a coworker. There was then a long wait (half hour) for that person to show up. She had said the wait would be 2 minutes.

Good room. Initially booked a city view room and the receptionist sorted that out really quickly. The service is as you’ll expect from Ramada and conveiniently there is a metro right next to the hotel which is ideal if you wish to explore the city. The hotel is near the airport. The room is good but felt really dark at night even with the lights so maybe the room needs more lightning.

Sunrise from the restaurant is beautiful. Rooms are cosy and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room also had a nice view where I could glance at the river Tagus from a distance.and the breakfast buffet is open from 6.30 to 10/10.30 making it very convenient for tourists

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, little bit dated, but excellent bathroom. It would have had a great view, but fog arrived that day. I was able to print out some documentation at reception, which was great. Didn't stay for breakfast due to early flight. Parking was only €5 for 24 hours and an easy less than 10 drive to airport. Thanks to all the staff😁

Really, really friendly staff. I would give them five stars if I was able to. I visited over a holiday weekend and the hotel was pretty busy, which is normal. It was a little frustrating that the lobby was full of people waiting to check-in and only one person was available at the desk. It was 40-45mins before I reached the desk. I don’t think this was the staff’s fault, it seemed like they were really short-handed. The man working the desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. There also seemed to be significant issues with the elevator. The bell would ring and the arrow would show up/down but the door would never open. Or, the door would slide open and then slam immediately closed. On the day that I checked out, I ended up walking down the 15 flights of stairs after waiting for 20mins for an elevator. Not a big deal, but not something I expected to deal with or I would’ve asked for a room closer to the ground floor. The onsite parking was great. Secure and only 5€/day, though there was a queue on the way out of the garage because the mechanism wasn’t working or something. I ordered room service and from the bar, and thought it was strange that items couldn’t just be charged to your room as is usual everywhere else. Despite the issues, I would still recommend the hotel if you can find a deal. It’s right next to a grocery store and about 20min by Uber to Belem Tower. Excellent staff.

Plus one star because the metro and bus stations are right outside the hotel. Another star for having reasonable price although I had bought it through points. The staff were condescending when you ask them questions. I asked for airport drop off because I had an early morning flight and the website said they offered it (the number one reason I chose this hotel) but nope! Because the station is nearby, they no longer do. Problem is that the train doesn't run earlier than 6am. The food they offered also sucked. I ordered a pizza and it was served burnt. Yuck. The walls were so thin I was hearing to the conversations next door my entire time. Finally, the water temperature would not regulate. I shower in lukewarm water but within seconds it's scalding hot. I would not come back.

I always liked Ramada standards. Lisbon Ramada was a good point for stay especially if you are in Lisbon for a business. Great internet connection all around the hotel, nice breakfast, and really pleasant team. During your stay, you feel like staying in the hotel, in your office, or in your house. It is really close to the metro station ( like 50m ) and you are in the city centre in minutes. It is also located on the Airport Metro line and you will be in the airport in 15 or 20 minutes.

Quite, pragmatic Business Hotel in Lisbon For a trade fair visit I stayed 5 nights in the Ramada by Wyndham in Lisbon. The hotel is a quite modern hotel, in the Olaias district. It's very close to the Metro station "Olaias" which makes travel in the city very easy and comfortable, even without a car. The service at the reception is based on the staff very different - while the check in was amazing, complaints management, service requests and check out were sort of disappointing. Sadly the corona rules and learnings are either requested or enforced. So no masks in the lobby for the guests, in the elevators and on the hallways. And no intention of the staff to change that. The rooms are modern with a tendency to look worn off. While you can’t hear anything from the outside traffic, the AC is very loud and also the social life of your room neighbours will not be a secret for you. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The preparation was not up to 100%, I had to ask several times for a full set of towels. Sadly the room service has to be ordered via pre printed notes - and acts at unusual times. On the first day out of the trade fair I didn't get room service. So some lights, some shadows in this department. Also to mention - when you open the water taps the first water that comes out is yellowish (see picture), so better let the faucet run before facilitating the water.

The hotel was great, The best part were the bartenders. Filipe went above and beyond to serve us exactly what we wanted. He was always there with a smile and a great attitude! We look forward to seeing him on our next trip to Portugal!

We stayed in Portugal for a week at the end of October. As far as location, it's a bit out of the center of Lisbon but the Metro is practically in front of the hotel and you're in the center within 10 minutes; you do need to take two metros to get to the center but transfer time is practically non-existent. The rooms were great, it was nice and clean; wouldn't say it had a modern decor, but we don't really care about that. We were on the 16th floor and were not facing the road, with a nice view of the city. We didn't notice any noise from outside or from the other rooms. The air conditioning worked fine. Bathroom was nice and clean. Roomservice was also good (would recommend the steak sandwich and the club sandwhich). Breakfast was good with usual breakfast items. Staff was friendly, helpful and very professional, special thanks to Duarte. All in all we had a pleasant stay and would come back next time we're in Lisbon!

Great finish to our trip instead of the nightmare we had with an airbnb managed by LovelyStay. Rooms were clean and well priced, staff was very friendly. Just be aware that during heatwaves, the higher you go, the more the AC struggles to keep up so if you like your rooms cool, stick to the lower floors.

The worst 4 star hotel in Lisbon. If you want a joyful stay, this place is not good for you. The receiption is unfriendly and not helpful. When there is a technical problem to enter to the room, either they blame you or they say it's not their problem. I am travelling frequently all over Europe, never seen such bad service!

The day I arrived I tested positive for Covid. Knowing that I need to self-isolate until I test negative, I tried contacting the front desk to extend the stay by a couple more days. Well, the phone in the room doesn't work so I had no way to call them. Then the covid symptoms really started to hit and I lost my voice. So, even if I had a functioning phone that could place calls I couldn't talk to anyone. So, I tracked down the email address for the reservation department and asked them to extend my stay and I kindly let them know that I will be having deliveries sent directly to my room. Two issues here: 1) Hotel said they could only extend my stay by 1 night because they are fully booked. This means I would be forced to checkout and possibly spread covid. They could have gone into an oversold situation given these extenuating circumstances and the risk to public health. 2) The thoughtless and unprofessional person who responded to me said that I cannot order from anywhere but their room service. I told them that the items on their menu. do not meet my requirements from my religion. They then said that if I have outside deliveries they would charge me 6 Euros for each delivery. I find the entire interaction with this staff, from the check in process (where the agents clearly were bothered that I was even in front of them), to this interaction with the reservation department to warrant this 2 star review. I rarely write reviews like this and I prefer to write positive reviews, but I cannot in good conscious endorse this property given my experience so far. Oh, and yeah, I'm very sick with covid right now so their lack of hospitality is all the more reason for outrage.

Nice and quaint hotel right next to the subway and a 10 minute ride to the center. I chose this hotel because it’s one of the few hotels in Lisbon with underground parking at an affordable price. The bar downstairs had a good selection of drinks and food too. The rooms were a bit outdated though and didn’t have the charm of a 4 star hotel.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be disappointed. Had a great stay of 9 days at the Ramada in August. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Best to make sure to get a room on the upper floors facing the front side. The view is beautiful with morning sun.

Just arrived, staff 1st class, room is actually really fine. Not much of a view but heyho, got 3 single beds 2 together, clean and tidy. Beers 4 euros a pint so cheapest in europe to now. Taxi from airport was 12 euros but be warned. No where is looking at using a card for payment, cash only especially taxies

A flight got delayed overnight due to an airline mistake so they gave us a free night at this hotel. It's not somewhere I would have chosen to stay if I had been paying myself because the area is a bit out from the center. I would describe more as an "airport" hotel even though it's not directly next to the airport. But it's not far away either. The building itself is kind of old and pretty basic BUT... it has a really really cool view and I enjoyed that a lot. It's on a hill overlooking the entire city. That was great.

Slightly stained sheets and crusted debris from old food on the desk. Hair in the shower, no shower gel and barely any hand soap. Staff were friendly however, the blackout blind was incredibly good and the communal areas were nice.

We chose the hotel according to our needs, that were proximity to the airport and to the place that we had to attend in Lisbon. The hotel is about 8 minutes drive from the airport. Our flight was late, so we missed the last metro. Took a taxi that was easy and fair price. We were on “room only” basis, as we do not eat breakfast. We took coffee at the Charot cafe just next to the hotel. Lovely place. The room was spacious but not very clean. The shower handle had this awful noise, I guess due to water pressure issues to the 16th floor. Toilet water flush wasn’t that good. Bed and carpet had smelled of dust. The hotel has a great potential. It just needs better attention. For us, this time, it was ok.

A great business hotel. Old school in best ways. It was my birthday. Staff kindly left a cake in my room. More importantly all amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner were provided without asking, in adequate quantities.I mention this because a lot of hotels these days skimps on these amenities for cost cutting despite charging a very sta dard rate.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Room was wonderful and I had a great view. Staff were friendly and fun! I will definitely return in the summer, it was great to stay in warm weather after spending Christmas in London and then two days later on to New York.
