We went as two families totalling six people over Christmas 2022 and had a fantastic time on a full day tour. The drive was lots of fun and gave us interesting information about the places we visited, and some of the scenery was spectacular. Lunch was included on the trip which was also delicious, and everyone had a fantastic time touring the Algarve and learning about the local culture.

I chose to do this tour on a wim after having breakfast at Martinique opposite the tour office to celebrate my birthday. It was the most fulfilling and beautiful day ever! The price of the Safari tour was excellent too, which was a bonus! Our tour guide RUI was the best. He gave us so much history about every single place we drove through on the tour and he has a true love and passion for Albufeira the place in which he was born and raised. I also loved hearing all of his stories from child hood until now. Amazing day and I'd definitely recommend it!

What a lovely experience! 5* for our driver and guide Miguel! We got to see a different ‘Portugal’. We stopped for coffee break and had pastel de nata (sprinkled with cinnamon). We got to visit Goji Farm and taste and buy some of their delicious produce. I would highly recommend this trip!

We did the Full Day historic tour with Benny as our tour guide. He made the trip so much fun as he explained the history of the area. He had so much knowledge and answered all questions so well. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and a better trip. If you have a day where you don’t know what to do, We highly recommend it!

We went on the Sunset tour. Absolutely fantastic. There were 10 of us in total so we divided between two jeeps. My 8 year old grandson and his parents were in the jeep behind us. Our driver was Tiago. Brilliant tour guide/driver. He was so informative and so friendly and funny. One of the most enjoyable days out. Great value for money. Our grandson loved every second of the day. Still talking about it. Highly recommend it.

Excellent sunset safari and dinner with Jose as our guide. He was enthusiastic, engaging and shared lots of info about the indigenous crops and environmental evolution of the algarve. The sunset was amazing and well worth the trip. Simple meal of soup, followed by barbecue chicken, chips and salad and fruit salad dessert perfect end to the evening before trek back. Lots of photo opportunities and just six of us on the tour so didn’t feel part of a tourist conveyor belt. Thoroughly recommend

Loved this day out. 9am pick from hotel. Visited some beautiful places. Drove around with another tour for half the day. Both drivers were informative with great sense of humour. Lovely lunch at family run restaurant was included. Would advise to do at start of your holiday as can learn area. It is very bumpy, so be careful, if you have bad back or legs.

Hugo gave us an amazing tour of the Algarve away from the coast. He was so chill, friendly and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating to the children and even allowed them to stand up in the Jeep when it was safe to do so. He’d spot herbs while driving and stop to grab some to see if we knew what it was. This was one of the best safari tours I have been to. Absolutely enjoyed the tour. The tour guide Thomas who is also the driver was Absolutely amazing. We all had a very good and fun time. The tour was for a whole day from 9am till 4pm with lunch included. The lunch was a three course meal which was delicious. There is a stop at a local cafe and few other beautiful places and also a distillery whi h serves really good locally produced alcohol, jams, honey , bee pollen and eucalyptus oil. There is also a stopover at a old castle and a former windmill at the top of the hill from which there are beautiful views. The countryside safari was worth every penny. We got to see some small towns and villages and a gorgeous waterfall. I surely recommend the full day tour especially for friends and families and you are sure to have a good time.

If you need a change of pace from lying on a beach all day, this is a great option. The tour picks you up and it is a fun ride. You basically go through more rural area of Algarve, see some cork trees, drink some fire water, taste some honey, have a nice lunch, get in a little swim time and head back home. The tour guide encourages standing in the jeep as we go through bumpy roads. It is a blast. The distillery / honey place is super small. He just grabs a key from behind a potted plant and lets you in, the goes over the process for making alcohol. We have as couple shots of fire water and it feels like a party. I read a negative review about them pushing the sale of honey and alcohol, but I did not get that impression. You can buy it (the guide sells it and puts the money in a tin for the owner), but I would say it's more of an afterthought than a sales pitch. The scenery is beautiful and the guide is entertaining.

Its hard to put into words the thrilling experience we had, from driving through rocky mountains to visiting small traditional villages. Our guide Marco was extremely entertaining and knowledgable and truly made it an unforgettable experience. Despite doing so many different activities during our stay at Portugal, this was definitely the peak of our holiday and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

This safari was amazing! We had a great tour of the mountain and villages in Albufeira. We booked a half day in the morning and this was perfect as the afternoon would have been too hot. We saw so much in this half day and the best part is unlike other safari tours, this jeep has an open back so we could stand up and take photos as we went along. I highly recommend booking this tour, I preferred it to the boat and caves trip.
