Amazing botanical Garden with flowers and plants as well as peacocks in there.. They even have a sensory garden with plants and herbs.. I heard the Jacaranda tree is over 250 years old and there are other trees that are 400 years old. The Jacaranda hasn't bloomed yet.. I saw a few buddings at the very top.. Pretty unique and definitely a must visit if you are in Lisbon and love gardens.. It is 2€ ticket for adults and it's cash only..

A hidden secret garden with the most amazing fountain. Quiet and less traveled, it feels like slipping back in time. Go, find it, you won't be disappointed.

To be honest I was expecting a little more. It was a lovely experience, and it's a beautiful place, but it just can't be compared to the other two botanical gardens in Lisbon. I think I enjoyed more the architecture of it and the sculptures than the actual plants, trees and nature in general. It's a good place for a cute date, to take some photos or just chill, but it's not really worth visiting for the sake of it (it's also sort of small so it won't take long to go around). I did enjoy it but it wasn't mind-blowing.

A beautifully manicured garden with lots of plant variety and a great view of the Cristo Rei and the 25 Abril bridge. You can admire the white peacocks and enjoy the sound of the fountains. An oasis of tranquility after a visit at the Palacio de Ajuda.

Worth the three Euro fee. A beautiful botanical garden. It would be a wonderful setting for a wedding. Tranquil and nicely maintained by staff.

Totally worth the 2€! It felt like we stumbled into a secret garden with exotic plants, albino peacocks, and the most stunning trees.

A garden with a variety of plants 🪴 from all over the world, the flowers are really beautiful 🌺 🌸🌹🌻 and the history of why and how it was built is very interesting, the orchid part was closed, a place that I would have loved to enter. 💁🏻‍♀️ some maintenance issues missing, but would definitely go back again 🤩

This is how I imagine heaven. The garden is very beautiful, calm and well kept. The peacocks are everywhere. There are albino peackoks also. And the ticket is only 2 eur. Definitely worth visit.

I love this place! Close to the touristy places, but quiet and relatively unknown. Lots of bushes and exotic trees. A part of the garden is reserved for aromatic plants, I love smelling those. The views over the river (bridge and statue of the Christ) are stunning, and there are peacocks roaming the place, both regular peacocks and white ones.

Incredible botanic gardens! Slightly outside the tourist trap route, so perfect. The walk down from the royal palace is delicious. I was lucky to be there during Golden Hour in a winter afternoon, and the whole place was magical. The exotic trees are beautiful, and the solitary peacock roaming around too!

This is a wonderful place to relax. It's not very touristy but it's an absolute must see. The garden is very well maintained and it's very quiet and peaceful here. The price for entry is very generous. If you're looking for some relaxation and fresh air, this is definitely the place to be.

Beautiful garden hidden in Ajuda. The peacocks follow you around though - kind of scary

Lovely relaxing spot. The gardens aren't huge but they are well laid out and have some interesting trees

OK if you've got time to spare. Nice fountain in centre but quite a way to travel from Lisbon centre. Probably better in early summer

The park is very poorly maintained. The grass and bushes weren't cut. Many flowers were brown. Garbage in the corner, an entire area was cut and empty and abandoned. Very sad, this park has so much potential to be beautiful. The view was nice, though.

Small but inviting space, easily explorable within an hour. Beautiful plants and views and a fascinating place to watch the white peacocks!

Last year when i went it looked like it was very well kept and blooming. This year was a little bit less crowded and seemed like not a lot of people still visit. What surprised me was a white peacock and the amount of peacocks in general. It was beautiful.

Nice location to take a few photos and taking a stroll. Not too expensive, children under 6 go free, family(2 adult+2 child) 5€, which is reasonable. Relatively small compared to other botanical places I have visited in London.

What a gem. Beautiful gardens, very quiet and plenty of rare species for the people who appreciate that . Definitely worth a visit

It was a nice visit, especially with a partner. There were some peacocks and some ducks. On a sunny day it is a pretty place and not expensive at all. The plants and flowers next to the sidewalk inside could have been in a better shape.

The first botanical garden in all of Portugal. Very interesting trees and other plants from all over the world.

Espetacular! beautiful view of the River and bridge, beautiful gardens and flowers, scented garden, definitely a peaceful place. The restaurant/cafe is temporarily closed, so before or after the visit have some coffee or food in Calçada da Ajuda where there are a bunch of options. The garden is approx 250yo. Loved it! It is easy to reach by walking from Belém train/Mosteiros, it is around 950m, but if you prefer get buses 729 or 727 and get off just one block away. Enjoy!

Great park in Ajuda to have a walk and relax with a nice view on the bridge and river. A lot of botanical plants to discover 🍀💚

Very quiet place and very pretty garden. Highly recommend the place. The garden keeper was really nice in explaining the composition of the park.

I like this garden. It's a little oasis of calm away from the traffic. Well presented and with a good selection of plants. It is quite small but walled off from the roads so stays quiet. The resident peacocks are the only disturbance.
