Great place to sit around while having an ice cream. One can choose if wants to seat in a sunny place or enjoy a fresher shadowy bench. Kids love to run around and have fun. What a beautiful monument and garden. We found this as we were walking to our hotel. Make sure to stop by! A plus is crossed the street you can see the changing of the guards if you are there in the correct time.

A centrally located square park across from the palace. Outside of having a statue and being a good meeting place I found it to be unremarkable.

Um eine kleine Pause mal einzulegen ganz okay aber ich finde es ist kein besonderer Park. Aber trotzdem sehenswert

Could have more places to sit in the shade. There was a teacher demonstration with interesting drawings.

Nice place to sit down and relax under the shade of the pine trees and to plan the route around Belem since it's right next to the train station. Unfortunately the water features did not work. And the view to the bay is obstructed by the fence around the train tracks

Lisbon's Garden of Afonso de Albuquerque is a tranquil oasis in the middle of the city. Its lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and serene atmosphere offer a delightful escape from bustling urban surroundings. Through beautifully landscaped gardens, visitors can relax on benches dotted along well-maintained pathways. Adding elegance to the setting is a graceful fountain in the park. It's an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or simply enjoying the peaceful ambiance. The Garden of Afonso de Albuquerque is a hidden gem that brings nature's beauty to Lisbon's doorstep.

Not much to be said about nature it is always perfect. This is a nice little garden in the heart of the tourist center. A quite refuge from the bustle surrounded by a few interesting restaurants.

There are several public parks and gardens between Rua de Belem and Avenida da India in Belem, including the section known as Praca Afonso de Albuquerqua located directly in front of the Belem Palace. The square is centred by a attractive monument to Alfonso de Albuquerque, the early 16th century statesman and Portuguese governor to India. Here you see a bronze of Albuquerque, standing upon a decorative column. It is an impressive monument to see. The four corners of the square have fountain sculptures that are worth having a look as well. Overall, this is a decent park if you are leisurely spending time in Belem. The adjacent Jardim Vasco da Gama and the larger Praca do Imperio are also worth seeing as well.

Nice garden, good shadows provided by the trees. I just think the benches could be renewed, they are made of wood and need repairs/replacement.
