Pleasant surprise. I didn't have high expectations before going but I am very glad that I went. The grounds are very nice. There are so many peacocks just walking around and lots of cool statues in the statue garden. Worth a trip. It is free to enter but the Museum is 3euro.

So, being Rafael Bordallo Pinheiros birthday today, it seemed most fitting to visit the garden created in his name, in the centre of Lisbon.....I was more than blown away.....deeply deeply touched by this one man's soul expression and appreciation for nature. A place of solace (saudade) & comfort & delight in the midst of noise & concrete. I got to see some of his earliest works. I got to be sad because some have been damaged.....some removed.....all in all....a green oasis representing a very deep love & passion for nature. I am so very very blessed to have been able to come here......so very grateful to witness something so dear and passionate to my very being. I am still moved to tears remembering my encounter.....my dear darling could not understand my tears.....but he shared the moment......love is universal ❤ Please enjoy this very special showcasing

Great place to go if you are on a budget. Entry is completely free & the display of Pinheiros work makes for a great treasure hunt which can be enjoyed by adults and children a like. Disappointed that a couple of the pieces were damaged and that one of the fountains wasn’t functioning.

A lovely garden but seems a little bit neglected. It would have been nice to see the water fountains working.
