We
were
really
looking
forward
to
our
2
night
experience
at
this
hotel.
However,
that
was
disappointing.
Not
only
was
it
not
the
double
bed
We
requested
in
advance,
but
We
were
given
a
room
with
two
single
beds
on
the
lower
floor,
so
We
asked
to
change
my
room.
We
were
then
told
that
changing
to
another
room
would
incur
an
excess
charge
of
25€
per
day.
When
we
checked,
there
were
other
rooms
available
on
the
same
level,
but
we
were
told
by
the
staff
that
it
was
the
only
room
available,
so
we
upgraded
to
that
room
for
an
additional
two
nights.
The
next
day,
at
the
breakfast
restaurant,
as
we
were
about
to
choose
our
food,
a
staff
member
asked,
"Would
you
like
some
egg
dishes?".
We
requested
scrambled
eggs
and
fried
eggs.
I
wondered
why
he
didn't
listen
to
us
about
that
when
we
were
our
table.
The
breakfast
had
more
variety
than
the
standard
one.
After
breakfast,
2-3
hours
later
a
stomachache
occurred
and
it
was
completely
impossible
for
us
to
go
out.
We
have
enjoyed
many
delicious
dishes
in
Portugal
so
far,
but
there
was
no
sign
that
this
kind
of
problem
would
occur.
Rather
than
blaming
anyone,
we
just
informed
the
staff
of
the
facts.
"After
eating
breakfast,
We
felt
really
unwell,
so
could
you
please
give
me
a
drink
that
can
adjust
the
osmotic
pressure
in
my
body,
such
as
an
oral
rehydration
solution
or
a
sports
drink?"I
said.
the
staff
replied
"I'll
talk
to
my
colleague,"
and
the
call
ended.
The
staff
then
entrusted
the
soda
water
and
a
slice
of
lemon
to
another
staff
member,came
to
our
room,
and
asked
us
to
sign
a
bill
for
3€.
We
were
saddened
by
the
staff
member
who
came
to
our
upgraded
room
and
signed
for
a
3€
charge
during
an
unexplained
case
of
food
poisoning.
If
there
is
a
charge
for
the
drink
I
requested
for
my
abdominal
pain,
why
wasn't
I
notified
of
this
when
I
contacted
them?
Indeed,
l
only
told
them
the
fact
that
we
had
a
stomachache
after
breakfast
at
the
hotel
and
were
forced
to
stay
at
the
hotel,
but
the
staff's
response
to
this
was
that
they
remained
silent
until
we
asked
for
a
drink.
In
the
hotel
reservation
request,
I
wrote,
"I'm
visiting
for
my
honeymoon.
I'd
be
happy
if
it
had
a
double
bed."
We
would
happily
stay
at
a
1
star
hotel
again
and
again
if
the
hospitality
that
we
received
could
be
called
4
star.
The
location
was
convenient.
You
can
also
take
a
taxi
from
the
airport
for
10€.
Uber
Eats
also
arrives
in
10
minutes
(we
asked
someone
outside
because
we
were
too
weak
to
go
out
and
we
couldn't
completely
rule
out
the
possibility
that
the
food
poisoning
was
due
to
the
hotel's
breakfast).
We
managed
to
calm
down
my
symptoms
with
the
medicine
I
had
and
was
able
to
catch
my
flight
the
next
day.
Thank
you
for
a
last
days
in
Lisboa!
