Everybody at this hotel is extremely helpful, polite and nice. The room was very clean, and the layout was functional and attractive. The nice gentleman at the front desk let me check in early and gave me a room with a river view. The restaurant had a really nice breakfast, and a good dinner. There is a nice bar where you can get a drink. Getting to the airport is only a couple of minutes. I don’t see how you could go wrong with this place. Nice people, nice room and great service.

It is located 10 minutes walk from the airport. The reception was quick and welcoming. The room we had was small but certainly adequate. The first night, we had problems accessing hot water for our showers. However, the problem was fixed by the time we woke up the next morning. The breakfast is great. The nicest thing is travellers can also access breakfast starting at 2am. That is a great feature for travellers whose flights were at 6:30am.

Hotel Star was a perfect place to stay the night before our flight home. It is immediately adjacent to the airport - just a 5-minute walk - so it is easy to get to departure at any time. Better still, the on-site restaurant is essentially 24-hours a day so you don't have to worry about eating at a time that works for your travel needs. Best of all, the food was pretty comparable to fancier Lisbon hotels. The staff there was great. We had a couple of special requests which were handled very quickly and effectively. Every member of the team seemed to want to go above and beyond for us. As I waited, this same approach was the same for every customer that came up. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We were placed right next to the elevator so you might think it would be loud but we slept well. The bed was very comfortable. I might quibble that it was a little dark or that the shower door did not close fully, leaving a bit of water on the bathroom floor but those were very minor considerations. We would definitely stay there again.

ONE STAR NOT MORE, I WAS STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR FOR ALMOST 1 HOUR. NO OXYGEN, AND WE WERE 4. WHEN WE ASK FOR HELP FROM THE ASSISTANCE, NOBODY ANSWERED CORRECTLY, ONE MINUTE MORE AND WE WOULD PREPARE OUR FALL !!! NEVER GO THERE.🤬

My flight was late and I missed my connecting flight. Rather than spend 12 hours at the airport I chose to go to a hotel. I was tired and stressed out. The staff at the Star Inn couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. It was a lovely though short stay. They offered me a day use rate which was great. After dealing with a very unfriendly guy at TAP airlines it was a relief to spend time at the Starr Inn.

The people at this hotel have been a bright spot on an otherwise awful day of traveling mishaps. After a flight cancellation and a very expensive rebooking on a flight with a 20 hour layover, I found myself in need of an airport hotel. I expected nothing fancy but was greatly looking forward to not sleeping on top of a suitcase. The wonderful people at this hotel have let my unfortunate day end on a high note! In addition to being extremely friendly, they have gone out of their way to be helpful, including by letting me rifle through their power adapter collection (I somehow managed to lose mine) and maintaining their patience while I asked multiple questions (which I swear I could’ve figured out on my own, with a little more sleep). I didn’t imagine I would find top-tier hospitality at an airport hotel - I would guess that a lot of people come here after long, patience-trying days, and I can only imagine how hard it is for the staff to stay friendly after multiple hours of greeting guests who aren’t in the best moods. But truly the people at this hotel are the best. They offer better service than hotels that charge 3x as much. As you can tell I am super grateful and super impressed. As for the room: extremely clean, nice toiletries, comfortable bed, no noise complaints at all. I think that the doors to the bathroom offer enough privacy but there’s also a curtain you can pull between the bathroom doors and the bed, in case you’re staying with someone else. Thank you Star Inn for being the one good part of a rather miserable day!

Great hotel located a short walk from the airport, it’s literally 4 or 5 minute walk. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious and comfortable and very clean. Also being so close the airport it’s very quiet. There is a metro station at the airport to take you into the city, it’s a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and they start serving breakfast at 2:00am, yes that is correct…2:00am! The breakfast was delicious and I was very surprised, everything was fresh and warm. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you have an early flight.

Efficient and friendly service! This hotel really stood out when it comes to airport hotels, especially in terms of their pet friendliness. We followed the red signs from the airport for a few short minutes walk to get there. Included in their pet fee they provided a blanket and bowls we could take home. There were tables just at the restaurant entrance where we were allowed to sit with our dog, which is not often made available at other hotels.

It's great for an early morning flight. Just five minutes walk from the Airport. The hotel is very decent on its own, though for a longer stay I would probably likely choose something more centrally located. Anyway, the staff is super nice. They have very decent breakfast bufet. buffet. Rooms are clean and tasteful. Definitely recommend.

Great location short walk from the airport. If you flight light no need for shuttle bus although they provide one. Great(!) Breakfast buffet that starts at 2:00 a.m.. rooms are comfortable and very clean.

I've just left, after staying here for a few days. I extended my stay, just because it was so convenient and comfortable. Alexandre and his colleagues were so helpful and professional. I had a lot of luggage, and was grateful for the help. The breakfast is great and varied, the rooms are spacious and the staff all speak great English but also encouraging if you would like to practise your Portuguese.

Super kind and accommodating staff. After having my flight delayed by 3 hours and arriving in Portugal at midnight, this hotel was like water in a dessert. Just a three minute walk from the airport, and a smooth check-in. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the included breakfast is great, and they even allow you to leave your luggage after check-out if you want to explore before a flight. 10/10 would recommend to anyone having a layover.

I've booked this hotel prior a morning flight. Unfortunately I can't recommend to stay here in the case you need to be well rested before a flight. The ac was not working properly and the temperature were very unpleasant. But most importantly the double queen size bed is really horrible 🥴 whenever your bed neighbor moves you will move too... For me this was the shortest night for a very long time and something which is not acceptable at this location (and price point). The stuff was nice. Breakfast good.

Nice hotel for a layover in Lisbon. Was able to pay a little more to check in very early. Much better than spending a long layover in the airport terminal. Took me less than 45 minutes to walk from the hotel, dropoff my bag, and get through security at the airport.

So they changed the rules while we were driving(about 3 hour travel) and suddenly we are presented with extra covid tests they want us to do using their own tests (70$) while we got the same tests in the car and could've done it officially in a pharmacy for free. Suddenly other tests aren't "valid" and no notice 24 hours in advance. We are asking them to waive the fee as ...i mean did didn't even had the courtesy of warning us with 24 hour notice. After speaking with the "manager" aka "chefe de recepção Pedro" he solved nothing. Honestly speaking with him was a waste of time. He basically insulted us asking us if we don't watch tv, kept saying it's the law to pay 35$ which is an absolute lie. No where in the law it's specified an hotel needs to charge a fee of 35$ per test in hotels (sure tests are necessary by the law but price for hotel tests , especially when given no notice is an absolute lie). I think the staff unfortunately thinks its in their best interest to be rude and mean to customers rather than be nice or apologetic. This place is a scam. A hotel that suddenly changes the rules and overcharges clients with zero respect for them doesnt deserve your hard earned cash. Avoid it. If I hadn't a fly in a couple hours are be carrying a newborn you could be sure i wouldn't have stayed in this joint. Other couple from France just arrived (strangers, who are also baffled with these sudden request to do tests for $$$ I also noticed a trend in this hotel reviews: After a few bad reviews mysteriously-- 5star one word reviews start appearing "nice " amazing" "good" ... You know...like these reviews have just been bought in those services that unfortunately exist to bury real reviews.

Made reservations over the phone and got the “best rate guarantee” with “all in” price “including taxes”. Then while checking in they needed more for the city taxes. I said I already paid the all in price when I made the reservation. She was certain I had to pay added taxes. So I waited for the supervisor to come tell me the same thing (very nicely). 3 things would have made this a great experience: make check in super fast and easy (it wasn’t), and make sure the people taking phone reservations are giving accurate quotes (they did not), and if there’s a discrepancy, let the guest in the room after a long day of traveling and deal with the issue at checkout if it’s still an issue.

This is the perfect hotel for long layovers. Had to wait 24 hours for next flight, looked at different hotels and chose this one. Service is excellent, room was great and its a walking distance from the airport. The rooms are a bit pricey I have to say. But it is the only negative, everything else was excellent.

We missed our connecting flight due to our previous flight being delayed, we found that the Hotel Star Inn was extremely close to the airport and walkable. Being so close to the airport we did not expect the hotel room to be so quiet and clean and had no problem checking in with the excellent staff. The hotel itself is clean, and has unique lighting and themes. The room was a bit weird in layout but clearly allows for more sleeping areas if you bring children along. However, I wish the beds were more soft. I would recommend the buffet breakfast this hotel offers. It was quite a selection with freshly cooked items. We had no problem checking in, sleeping the night, and getting back to the airport the next day for our flight!

This is the best place to stay before or after flights. We have stayed here many times over the years and always have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Within walking distance to terminal. Also free shuttle available. Nice breakfast! Only warning is that the heavy smelling fragrance in the reception may be too much for those with allergies or migraines.

  • 5/5 David H. 2 years ago on Google
Considering this is „just“ an airport hotel, it is really good. The price is very fair, the staff is exceptional friendly and the rooms are clean and tidy. There is even a pool. So in this category it is one of the best I’ve been.

Such a smart decision to book this hotel for the first night in Lisbon after late flight. It is 5 min walk from the terminal . Rooms are outdated, but very quiet with windows closed and AC. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!!!! So much choice! Big plus: you can basically have breakfast any time - even in middle of the night (not as rich breakfast as in the morning). Checkout is 12, which lets you sleep late if you want to.

A surprisingly good hotel. Short walk from the terminal. Pleasant, clean, functional rooms. Nice bar with friendly service. Included breakfast that was a great surprise at 3am before our flight. Little Pastels de Nata was the highlight but all good. We definitely would stay here again.

They should name it the 5 Star Inn 🙂. Fabulous hospitality, little extras in the room to welcome us after a long day of travel, and an outstanding buffet. Continental Breakfast also begins at 4am for early birds. Quick shuttle to airport runs every 15 minutes - although it's within walking distance. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Pet friendly and the cats enjoyed the first ever city view😂

The hotel is a 4 minute walk from Lisbon airport. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, very relaxed and chatty. Rooms were good. Hotel feels new. Breakfast was very very good. Lots of choice for all diets. Really good experience

Crazy to pay 184€ for one night in Lisbon. Ok it’s convenient as it’s close to the airport but it’s not worth that price. The room quality is not at a that value. And the breakfast is not great either. For me 90€ max would be acceptable for such location in Lisbon.

  • 4/5 Terry H. 10 months ago on Google
The location and shuttle service are great. Rooms comfortable and very quiet. A few things that were new to us. You need a room key card to get power. And WC and shower are separate from the bed by a curtain. Just unusual. Beds are great. 1 complimentary water plus stocked bar fridge. Nice dinner buffet €19 but the breakfast buffet in included with the room price. We will use it again.

Best to stay near the airport since the city lanes are very narrow with cobbled stones on varying gradients making commuting with luggage very difficult. This place is across the airport. They have a van service from the airport to the hotel every 15 minutes. The rooms are basic but very clean as is the bathroom. All amenities are available including meals at very nominal costs. Extremely friendly staff and very safe. The metro station is at the airport which is 5 minutes away thus connectivity is fantastic.

Rooms (really bathroom) need a bit of an upgrade. Sloping toilet seat, paint peeling off bottom of bathroom door & needs a bit more of a deep clean. Absolutely no counter space around sink. Also, beds were rock hard & uncomfortable but generally room was a good size and good choice of television channels. Staff were wonderful, breakfast bountiful and location in regards to airport, perfect-walkable or free shuttle available if needed.

I stayed there for one night. The hotel is located in close proximity to the Lisbon airport aprox 4 minutes. The staff were all incredibly helpful. Even though is located next to a very busy street, there was no significant noise. And the rooms were amazingly clean. Breakfast was adequate. The only thing that i did not like was that i expected to have an espresso machine in the room not a single kettle. Excellent experience overall.

The Hotel Star Inn was a perfect option for having an early morning flight the next day. It's literally walking distance from the airport departures. It took me 8 minutes to get from the lobby of the hotel to the check-in desk on floor two of the airport walking the whole way. There are cross walks and side walks the whole way to the airport entrance, so even with roller bags it's a fairly easy walk. It's a slightly uphill walk, so it may be a little strenuous for some.

Perfect place for a quick connection and relaxing a bit. Bar open until 02 am. Food all night long. Service amazing. Room need a bit of retouch. Can’t stand the fact that curtains divide bathroom from bedroom.

Good breakfast, kind staff and good rooms. The internet connection at the hotel is also, surprisingly, stable and relatively fast. Located across the road from the airport (5 minute walk with a trolley) and therefore easily accessible.

My dogs and I had an excellent stay here a few nights ago. The staff were warm and friendly and they welcomed my dogs with a little doggy-welcome pack and tasty dog biscuits which were a nice treat for them. The room I had was excellent and had a private terrace for me to relax and for the dogs to run around. Spacious bathroom with large frosted windows for plenty of sunlight. I missed the dinner buffet but the breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of continental options: bacon, sausage, different kinds of eggs, cereal, juices, coffee and tea, large variety of pastries and bread and also a variety of cut fruits. All for a great price. Just a heads up that if you book this room online and intend to bring your pets, the charge is only for humans and pets are a very reasonable extra charge at check-in. Will definitely be staying again anytime we are passing through LIS airport.

Clean and nice rooms, just as in the pictures. Unfortunately, the toilet has some problems with draining which prevented us from falling asleep. We could easily hear other guests from above us as well.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE, if you expect to get any kind of sleep or peace before a flight, you will not find it here, our room was by the elevator and all you here all night is a loud machine operating every 30 seconds, it felt like water torture, the noise was so loud that earplugs didn’t help at all, it would have been better to just stay in the airport than this hotel and saved myself the 80 euros. Again, I repeat, do not stay at this hotel, worst hotel I’ve stayed at in all of Europe, roach infested hostels are better than this.

I stayed for just one night before an early flight and had a very good experience. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The room size is adequate and very well appointed. The bed is very comfy and the shower glorious! I did have a tasty sandwich in the cafe and coffee from the machine in the lobby. The shuttle service to the airport was very easy and right on time. Overall it was a fabulous experience.

What a great finish to the week. Professional, courteous, helpful, cheery staff on all levels. Clean rooms with good amenities and extras. Courtesy shuttle to terminal2 and takeaway breakfast (I was flying early!). I would highly recommended for anyone to stay here.

I am happy to provide a strong review for this hotel. The food was really good here, the kitchen stays open late, and the front desk staff were professional and helpful. The convenience to the airport, and the free shuttle, made for a very comfortable overnight before my flight. I found it worth the price I paid. That said, the room is small (bed is comfortable, shower was good), there's no view or much natural light. But, for what it is, you will have a comfortable and convenient stay.

the hotel is conveniently located near the Lisbon airport. it is a walkable distance so very useful if one has a flight to catch in the morning. The room is designed efficiently so that served its purpose. The staff was friendly overall and the breakfast was very substantive. nothing to complain and highly recommended!

We appreciated the quiet room and early airport shuttle. Staff was friendly and welcoming. A couple of suggestions: The bathroom in our room didn't have anywhere to hang clothes. A few hooks would be really helpful. Also, it would have been nice if there were bags at the breakfast buffet so we could have grabbed a muffin or croissant to eat while waiting for our flight. We got on the 0400 shuttle and didn't have time for a sit down meal. We would absolutely stay here again, but would love to see our suggestions implemented.

Tidy compact rooms from not more than 2-3 minutes walk from Lisbon airport. Early check-in is possible and even if you don't want to spend more money, they are flexible enough to take care of your luggages until you check in. Service is excellent all the staff we talked with were really friendly and helpful. The place is really clean and all the small gestures (the little biscuits, small bottle of wine) were really unexpected and heart warming. The food is not extraordinary but good enough to fill you in and we didn't expect Michelin star restaurant. Next time when we are in Lisbon with an early flight we will definitely book a room again.

The location is perfect for a morning flight out to Lisbon. All of the receptionists we spoke to were helpful and friendly. They provided early check-in and the room/beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and had everything we needed. There was an issue with hot water during the stay, but Pedro Santos of the front office addressed the matter satisfactorily after the stay. I will definitely come stay again!

So close to the airport yet it is one of the quietest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The room size and layout was very good and the bed was very good. Unfortunately we tested positive for Covid at the airport and had to quarantine. The staff spoiled us during our unexpected extended stay and coordinated with medical personnel for our Certificate of Recovery. Thanks so much for the great service!

This hotel caters to travelers to and from the airport. Rooms are small, but efficient. You can get a bite to eat at almost any time of day/night. Comes with breakfast that starts at 2:00am for the early traveler! They also shuttle to and from the airport about every 15 mins.

This was by far the best airport hotel I’ve stayed at. Check-in was super smooth, the bed was so comfortable, we loved the rain shower, and breakfast had so many options. I could go on, and I would definitely stay here again.

We walked there from the airport and it was very quiet, but they have a transfer. Everything was wonderful, we were very well attended and the room is very good. It was just a little strange that the bathroom was made of glass and you could hear things, but even so, we have nothing to complain about. Breakfast was very tasty and dinner too.

Highly recommended for late arrival into Lisbon! Free hotel shuttle definitely helps, although it’s no more than 5 min away from airport. Whilst room is compact, it is very clean and well equipped. Service is also impeccable and breakfast spread is great as well! One small suggestion will be that it’ll be perfect if there’s global multi-plug in the rooms

I’d rate higher than five stars if possible. The hotel is a very short and walkable distance from the metro and terminal entrance. We had excellent interactions with a courteous and professional staff. Breakfast hours and offering are the best I’ve seen in my travels. While the room may be considered small, ours was very clean and comfortable. Hotel Star will be our first choice when we return to Lisbon. We highly recommend staying here when utilizing the Lisbon airport. Thank you Hotel Star!

Major selling point: they have food available 24/7, which is so important when you're suffering from jet lag! We stay here every time we fly into or out of Lisbon. Fantastic location within very easy walking distance from the airport. The rooms are basic but always clean and comfortable. Everyone we've encountered who works here is warm and helpful. And there's a DIY pancake machine at the breakfast buffet!

Nice hotel within walking distance of the airport and the airport Metro station. Not much around the area but the hotel does have a restaurant on site. Variety of food available but the center piece is the buffet. Did not eat at the buffet. Cost about $20 per person. Spoke with some people at the hotel who said they liked the lunch/dinner buffet and that it had a good variety of food. I did go to the morning breakfast buffet which was included in the hotel rate. Plenty of food I'm just not a breakfast person. The room we received was small but fine for two people on a short stay (two nights). Bed was comfortable and it was possible to open the window about 6 inches for some fresh air. The bathroom might be a privacy issue for some. The toilet and shower are enclosed by a glass door with a curtain separating the area from the bed area. One security issue is the shower floor is not textured and the room we had the shower did not have a hand rail. I did not experience a problem but I could see how someone could easily slip in the shower. The hotel was amazingly quiet for being so close to the airport. The to/from the airport is only about 10 or 15 minute walk but during high traffic time can be difficult crossing the streets. Fortunately the Portuguese drivers are courteous to pedestrians. The hotel also offered a shuttle to/from the airport every 15 minutes. I would return to this hotel again particularly if I had an early morning flight and wanted breakfast before I left.
