I really enjoyed this place. It's closed to the center but very quiet street, it's so important for Lisbon if you want to have rest. Very polite and caring staff, everyone... reception, cleaning, breakfast. Big room, with things of last century. The minus was TV sounds cause it was fix and I couldn't turn on more loud and I heard my neighbors. Also I didn't like the key cause I have to leave and take it every time on reception. And it was good compliment every day from 5p.m till 9p.m you can have tea time with desserts. Very good breakfast too. Anyway I like this hotel and recommend.

This hotel is centrally located and close to the main tourist attractions, yet it is on a very quiet street. Our room is comfortable. The breakfast buffet is delicious and offers many varieties. The front desk staff were extremely helpful to adjust our booking due to our schedule change. We'd definitely come back to this hotel next time we visit Lisbon.

Sublime Hotel. Art Deco masterpiece. Quiet and small venue. Rather more like a club than a hotel. Grest and discrete service. If you like Art Deco this is an experience to cherish.

You feel at home here. I often come to Lisbon for work related needs, this is by far my preferred hotel. Staff welcomes you every time with a smile, breakfast is great, rooms are spotless, beds and pillows catch you as soon as you lie on the bed. This somehow ancient colonial atmosphere only adds charm to the place.

I know nothing about rooms, I didn't stay there, just visited a friend. But I really liked very nice gentleman, receptionist. He was very welcoming. Style in there like in modern grandma house, but with nice restoration and cozy look. Like it. Not for everyone, but it worth it to try ones for experience 😉

This was a great little boutique hotel for the price. The location was super convenient - just off the main drag but in a quieter side street. Heritage Art Deco Design. Very helpful staff.

Wow! An excellent hotel. Arrived late. Beds needed changing to singles. Nothing was too much trouble. Really large rooms. Beds were so comfortable. Had a great night's sleep. The hotel has all of the original features from the art deco period. Very well maintained. The service is excellent. Feels like you have been transported back in time. You feel that you are being thoroughly pampered and spoiled. Port in a decanter in the room as well as in the bar. Beautiful breakfast. I would love to go back to this hotel some day for a much longer stay.

Everything about this hotel is satisfying, the staff always welcoming, bedrooms are clean and nice, we love having a glass of Porto in our room, the situation is perfect, very center of the town with all the shops and restaurants...well I recommend this place 100%

Lovely hotel, good size rooms, nice bar area and friendly staff. The only issue we had during our two night stay (and it was a big one) was that our only full day there we put the "Do not Disturb" sign on our door since we were going in and out of the room at irregular intervals. Also we wanted to take a nap before continuing our travels the next day. We told housekeeping that we didn't want service that day and requested coffee for the next morning, which the housekeeper gave us. Later, when we came back to the room for our nap, there was a card from the hotel at our door noting that the hotel takes guest requests "very seriously," and therefore they respected the "do not disturb" sign on our door. Then stated "Should you wish to have your room made up, please inform the Reception." About the time we got to sleep, the room phone rang and it was the young lady from "Reception" asking us if we wanted our room serviced. We were exhausted, and, of course, no rest for us. I told the young lady who called that we had already established we wanted to skip service that day, and that we had read the note, and if we had wanted service we would have called. She just said, "Okay." I thought in that moment that when I wrote the review for the hotel, I would have to rate it 4 stars instead of 5. When we were checking out the next morning, the same young lady was at the front desk when my husband told her about them not honoring the do not disturb, i.e. the phone call. She was not particularly apologetic and basically shrugged it off with a "oh, sorry about that." It was clear to us why she wanted to down-play the incident since she is the one who called the room. As I paused to write this review, I think 3 stars is appropriate due to her lackadaisical response to our complaint. We understand there can be a problem, or staff are not properly trained - but it's how it's handled that ultimately matters to the customer. If she had shown concern or regard for the customer's issue, it would have been totally different. We won't be back to this hotel for only that reason.

A very old hotel, the good thing is that the room are extremely big, the price is very reasonable and the service is extremely good and professional. The bad side is that the facilities are not modern at all. The acoustic is bad and you can hear noise from other rooms. Breakfast is not so vegan friendly and should be more healthier. The location is great so overall score is 4

Beautiful and authentic hotel. Staff always works above and beyond expectations. Decor is top notch, buffet breakfast is plentiful but it’s all the extras that make this hotel superior. Close to everything but on a quiet street, perks to tea time and free Porto, wine, smiling doormen, reception, and all other staff is what will keep me coming back.

This place was surprisingly delightful. Location is perfect. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The doorman brought my daughter a hot chocolate, what a lovely man. Stylish and relaxed, so much better than the bland 5 star hotel experience. Great value too.

Exceptional service and beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. We flew in from NYC and were able to check in hours early. We also were able to check out late. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. We loved that we bordered the tourist area, yet were on a quiet street. Close to market and high tech laundrymat. Restaurant were steps away.

We stayed here (actually we are still here) an enjoyable experience from our porter Omar and all the receptionist Victor Miguel and Earolina to the sweet Jefferson who always great us with a smile. Breakfast was a treat Tatyana and lucia are always there serving us with coffee and the food is just perfect with fresh bread. The room are Art Deco you will live in that era. The location is just perfect quite but a minute away from the Center. I recommend the antique shops on the street in the back it’s a treat. They have a tea time every day from 5 to 9. We are in our honeymoon and we love it.

We have traveled alot, and this is one of the hotels we talk about when good hotels are affiliated. This is one of them. I've been here previously once (for the last year) and always hope to return. Had a prayer that this return will be like perfect and the good vibes would come back! Sourendings is like stylish, service like excellent, and the orange jucie is freshly made and just as tasty as the last time - yes, there were no additional costs in the entire transaction. Not actually expected to be any other location other than this if we return to Lisbon at a later time. Have to be seen ! And just a tip i see this hotel goes for 300$+ a night on most places , we got this for a steal on Locktrip for about 168$ a night , most prices on there are way lower than industry standards, and don't forget too use this discount code on there LMUKR enjoy :)

We had a lovely stay. We have come to Lisbon many times and have always disliked our hotels (mostly road or other noise) but this one was quiet and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and attentive. We loved the port in the rooms, the comfortable beds, the quiet, and the terraces. You can't beat the location (especially for high end shopping). It has safe parking. The preserved art deco is really interesting. I think it's a little expensive overall, but I would be happy to come back.

As someone who loves art deco I was delighted to stay in this hotel. The place is well maintained although you have to put up with some old fashioned plumbing. The staff are very friendly and professional. Some details in the service are worth of a five star hotel.

Outstanding service. Stayed here in March & can honestly say it’s probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in for good ole fashioned customer service. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like we were so welcome & they even let us check in 3 hours before official time & upgraded us to a beautiful room. As it was our honeymoon they also placed a bottle of champagne & candles in our room whilst we were out which was such a lovely touch. Hotel is located in great spot where you can get to all the amenities on foot & also mix with locals in the nearby bars & restaurants. Most continental hotel breakfast are very average but not this place - really good quantity & quality of choice & free bubbly every morning too! Without question we will be going back to Lisbon as it’s such a fab vibrant city to explore & we will not stay anywhere else now apart from this hotel. 5 stars as a minimum well done to all staff.

Loved our stay here! Incredibly well-managed establishment, our room was huge and our bathroom a marvel of marble and old-fashioned glamour. Breakfast was a delicious buffet in an elegant library space and it was remarkable how much better we felt about setting out into a rain-drenched Lisbon after Buck’s Fizz, good coffee and pastries - and a Britania umbrella in hand! Thank you to all the wonderful team who looked after us.

Just the most wonderful hotel with the friendliest of staff. Loved the art deco and history of the place. Upgraded to junior suite. So comfortable. Oh and free port in the room too! Highly recommended.
