I
had
the
pleasure
of
staying
here
for
(unfortunately)
only
two
nights.
While
the
modest
signage
on
the
front
of
the
hotel
makes
it
a
tad
difficult
to
find,
the
two
folks
I
interacted
with
at
the
reception
(Caterina
and
Tomas,
who
is
one
of
the
co-owners)
were
exemplary,
engaging
and
enthusiastic
hosts.
You
can
tell
they
both
really
love
what
they
do.
My
room
(1-C)
was
one
of
the
more
spacious
ones
I
stayed
in
during
my
almost
3-week
trip
throughout
Portugal.
Their
breakfast
-
brought
to
your
room
as
they
have
no
restaurant
in
the
hotel
-
was
much
more
than
I
could
eat
and
I
asked
them
to
moderate
it
and
only
bring
me
two
croissants
(which
are
amazing!)
and
some
fresh
fruit.
(I
would
walk
down
the
street
to
Flor
do
Mondo
to
get
some
hot
cafe
con
leche
and
bring
it
back
to
the
room
to
enjoy
with
the
croissants.)
Tomas
and
Caterina
were
amazing
in
helping
me
navigate
how
to
find
the
nearest
COVID
testing
site
on
a
Sunday
that
also
coincided
with
a
national
holiday.
It
was
such
a
pleasure
to
stay
with
them,
and
interact
with
then,
and
hear
the
history
of
the
building
and
the
hotel.
And
the
location
is
great!
If
you
turn
right
as
you
exit
the
hotel,
take
the
(long)
set
of
steps
to
the
bottom
and
you
find
yourself
dumped
onto
Rossio
Square
-
the
heart
of
Lisbon
(with
a
Starbucks
near
by
if
you
must).
And
turning
left
and
then
going
either
up
or
down
the
street
will
take
you
interesting
bars,
restaurants,
squares,
churches
and
more.
Great
location,
spacious
rooms,
truly
authentic
and
passionate
hosts.
I
will
definitely
return
and
you
should
stay
here
if
you
are
heading
to
Lisbon!
