1) This "hostel" is just an apartment covered into having bunk beds in every room. 2) Place is cash only 3) Nobody speaks English, you'll be ok with Spanish tho 4) the neighborhood is creepy and I not that safe, girls beware 5) There are no signs of the "hostel" outside of the building 6) Beds will make your itch all night long, do the have flees it something?

The pictures that are shown aren’t even of the hostel they’re advertising. There were no signs indicating there was even a hostel there. The taxi driver who brought me there was worried for my safety as I was a solo female backpacker. These are some huge red flags that something is not right. I ended up leaving immediately as I didn’t feel safe there. STAY AWAY!!!!

I decided not to spend the night there, after arriving in a very degraded area, totally dark street and with no indications about the civic number, 83, or about any hostel. Calling the phone number indicated in the booking I was told by a guy with a brasilian accent to enter through a ground level garage, totally in the dark, and go to flat 9D. This despite I booked through trusted website provided by Delta Airline. This kind of scam should be taken into consideration by the authorities.

Really close the the airport and ideal for a short stay in Lisbon. Closest Metro is at the Airport. Spacio shopping center is 10 minutes away, with the Metro just next to it. It is also served pretty well with buses. Hostel owner is very friendly and helpful, he even provided the transportation card and a Taxify voucher that gave me my first ride free. The hostel is kept pretty clean, however the bathrooms can be shared between a large number of people. The building's entrance and common areas are a bit shabby, but the hostel owner can't do much about that. I would definitely recommend for someone who is on a long flight stopover and/or wants to visit Lisbon.

DO NOT RESERVE HERE! I strongly suggest that you don't reserve nor contact this hostel! The owner is an unscrupulou, cheating brazilian. My friend and I booked his room 1 month ago and paid the deposit of 500 euros to guarantee the room until we would move in on the 1st of January. On the 31th of December, we paid another 500 euros as the rent. That's totally 1000 euros. Guess what? The owner of this hostel - Milton Barcellos Magalhaes, started inventing tons of stories and we couldn't move in, after we had moved all our staff in the storing room of the same building, which costed us another 150 euros more on transportation. Now he's just playing with us telling tons of his lies and doesn't give back our money. I have registered the case in the police and the chef in the police station helped us and showed us all his information in the system. Turned out this Milton had got lots of cases against him. We have never had such a bad experience in our lives! The hostel cannot be found and is not signposted or marked in any way! The only information we got from the hostel on the phone was that it was a white building. Not very helpful when pretty much every building on the street is white! Our taxi driver couldn't even explain in Portuguese where the hostel was supposed to be or not! After 2 hours we stopped searching and looked for another reputable hotel! Beware of these scammers!!! Unfortunately it is not possible to give zero stars, because even one star would be way too many!
