This arena is a part of a riding school. Due to our schedule, we were only available to view a training session, but enjoyed it thoroughly. Perhaps it was better than a performance, as it seemed more personal. We paid a few euros more to sit in the VIP section, so as to be closer. We were the only people in this private "studio", which was much closer to the arena, so we felt like we were privy to a private performance - even though it was a training session. The horses were magnificent and the riders dignified. This "off-the-beaten path" destination was one of the highlights of our trip.

I only watched a training (8 euro) and it was totally worth it. Beautiful horses, nice practice with all the dressage repertoire. Almost like a show 😍 I also recommend to eat a delicious muffin or the traditional Broas de Mel. Food and drinks are cheap. I spent almost 3 hours there and got the possibility to watch the horse stable for free too. And 5 stars for the friendly staff.

A must for horse friends or especially dressage riders. Unfortunatly I was not able to see the evening show but for 8 Euros you get a guided tour of the stabiles, can talk to the riders and watch them practise in the arena. Unfortunatly photos and videos are not permitted. Opens at 10 a.m and tour begins at 10.30 until 12.00. Easy to find simply follow the pink Wall leading to the President's residence.

I can only give this the highest recommendation, you Must visit, you will not be disappointed. You can pay to go into the stables and ser them training the horses ( who are beautiful, stallions) and you can them pay to see them demonstrating their talents both riders and horses. Really, Not to be missed. Great for adults, children will love it. Also the venue is nice and very comfortable, with nice coffee bar and facilities.

Great seeing horses in training. Shame we were in town before season of galas started. But was a bonus of 2 hours of ponies.

Went there to see week day training at 11am (8euros), advised if you like horses and dressage training, otherwise it can be a bit boring I think. Show is about 1 hour, some horses are worked with long reins while others are rided as usual. There is a shop and little snack service. I enjoyed the show.

Worth visit, highly recommended. Good tour at first in the stables, it was allowed to touch certain horses as well. After tour morning reheasals inside the hall, beautiful riding. Basic ticket allows to take a seat at higher seats, more expensive ticket 12 eur seats were at the same stage with the horses. Both seat types under the roof so didn't mind the weather at all.

👍👍 Beautiful place. It's such a pleasure to be here in any season in full sun or under the moon. The Belem tower is awesome !
