I was delighted to find a vegan option for the famous Portuguese custard tarts. I have never tried the “real” thing but I loved these, especially the darker ones. My friend confirmed that they do not taste like the non-vegan ones but that does not make them any worse. They are good in their own way.

So nice that the national most famous desert is made out of dairy and now we have a vegan option available on more than one place in the city. Well done Lisbon!

I wasn’t expecting that much but I was surprised it tasted great without the grease and sweetness. A cute small indoor sitting with a classic ambiance facing a lively street

Absolutely incredible natas! As two traveling vegans to Portugal we were so relieved to find a place that specializes in this traditional vegan Portuguese sweet. We visited twice over one week for natas and coffee. Out of this world taste - hands down best vegan natas around!

This is a must visit place, the shop is small and charming, offeres a selection of Portuguese products with a high quality standard. I've been there every day for my breakfast, the coffee is served in an edible cup and the pastel is always freshly made. The staff is welcoming and polite.

Must visit for vegans wanting to try the iconic Portuguese pastel de nata. They were delicious! Such great value and LOVED the edible coffee cups - reduce that plastic!

Really delicious vegan alternative to the classic version. Would have given 5 stars if it had been a portafilter coffee machine

(Translated by Google) A very nice little shop in the middle of downtown Lisbon. A coffee lover's heart beats faster in the shop. You can buy coffee cups and espresso cups there, as well as ground coffee and beans. The prices for the whole beans are reasonable. The beans are not bottled but are stored in large plastic trays. So you can see the quality directly from the outside. There are different coffees from different countries to buy there. Conclusion: If you are interested in coffee or just want to buy good coffee, I can only recommend the shops.

If you're looking for a vegan egg tart, this is THE SPOT! 🥳 Definitely would recommend and tasted sooooo close to the dairy-containing options. Also, for €1,10, you can't beat it!!!

Vegan pastel de nata! Rich and tasty, but not so eggy. Super exciting. They also make vegan cappuccinos and espresso in an edible cup. One thing to note: they really should have a much better espresso machine.

Delicious. My 2 year old was so happy to finally try the pasteis. Being severely allergic to cow based products, this find made such a difference during our stay. Pasteis are soy based, and even non cow milk allergic people could be fooled. Thank you!!

These are absolutely delicious. Taste exactly like best dairy versions of pasteis de nata. Come early to get them fresh and hot. While their cups are cool and appreciated, I would advise that if you're looking for a cafe quality espresso to go elsewhere. This is all about the pasteis de nata. Get at least a box of 6+.

Very warm welcome and the prices are also very low. In the heart of the capital, easy to find. (Original) Petite boutique des années 30 qui propose cafés et thés. Very delicious vegan Pastel de Nata, super crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside, like they’re supposed to be 😍 The coffee with pea milk (which didn’t foam well and came out of a ready machine) was served in an edible cup which was a nice and eco friendly gimmick.

This place is amazing! I was so happy to find vegan nata after watching my family enjoy the "normal" ones all week and these exceeded my expectations! I got them to go but there are a few tables if you want to sit and have a drink with your nata. This is a must visit for any vegan in Lisbon and could definitely be enjoyed by non-vegans as well!

So exited that there is a vegan Pastel de Nata. I highly recommend this place. This Vegan Pastel de Nata is just awesome. My friend who is not vegan, tasted one and said he could not tell the difference from the one made with animal products. Hurray for Vegan Nata having made a vegan Pastel de Nata! I am forever grateful for your making this available to the vegan, vegetarian community and those who are not vegan or vegetarians as well.

I wish I could rate this more than 5 stars. They do vegan natas amazingly. The first is perfect and the custard nails the texture and whole milk taste. So happy I got to experience nata despite being vegan!

When looking for Vegan Pastel de Natas this spot seemed to be some of the best reviewed. It did not disappoint! The pastries were fresh out of the oven and the style of the store was that of a traditional Pasteleria. On our visit we had two pastries and two coffees and the pricepoint was extremely cheap. The quality was fantastic and was amazing to be able to try this Portugese staple as I have jealously watched people eating these everywhere. I can't say whether this would fool a connoisseur but I found it delicious regardless. This is an obvious visit for a vegan in Lisbon but I would recommend this store for anyone 😊

Best pastel de nata, I’ve ever eaten. Granted I’ve only had a few, but I wish I had a few more days in Lisbon just so I could go eat more of theirs! The crust was so flaky, the texture was amazing, and the flavour was rich. Very inexpensive for the value!

Perfect vegan traditional pastel, at a perfect price 1.20 each. Can be taken away in a special box. One table outside to sit with coffee Tip- going with my family to Pasteis de Belem this day, I foresightedly took a box of them to enjoy a treat with others non-vegans)

So glad my flight was cancelled and I had an opportunity to get back here to try this Nata. I resisted so many amazing padaria’s during my trip and this was the reward! Happy this was an available option. Worth seeking them out.

This fine establishment is my go-to for supremely delicious ground coffee, and they’ve recently pivoted into offering their own amazing vegan nata that I also totally recommend. This is a family-run local spot that never disappoints.

One of the oldest local shops in Lisbon. You can find coffee around the world which they're roasting here. Also tea from Azores islands and some Portuguese chocolate brands.

  • 2/5 Joshua K. 5 years ago on Google
A little confusing as the coffee isn't roasted here, but in a different location. Coffee isn't sold here either. They do sell coffee beans. And it looks like over roasted, not very fresh. This is more like a coffee convenience store, not a cafe. Disappointed.

  • 5/5 Dean Q. 3 years ago on Google
I live in the south of Portugal, every time I'm in Lisbon I buy several kg of beans. This isn't a cafe and doesn't sell cakes, or cups of coffee. It sells beans. Various kinds, varieties and roasts. They used to roast on-site, but now roast at their own location, elsewhere. They roast their own beans, you buy them. I buy their eponymous Carioca beans for everyday espresso and cappuccino and their Presidente beans for even nicer coffee. Always friendly, eager to answer questions and speak about five languages.

Worst coffee ever purchased in Europe. I should have walked out of the store when I didn't immediately smell coffee. Europe in general does not have any good fresh coffee rosters. Fresh rosters in the US are far far better. This place was on the USA Today's best 10 list of places to vist in Lisbon, Portugal. I should have learned my lesson when I tried USA Todays best beer list.... Ugh!
