First of all some of the reviews are completely inaccurate. Maybe you should read about a place before you visit it. This is an atelier-museum of a Portuguese contemporary painter, it's not a place with replicas. It is also not a place to see big exhibitions. Most exhibitions are related or are in connection with the artist's work. So please stop making inappropriate reviews and please read about an artist before you visit their museum, it might help you learn something.

Delightful gallery showcasing works, brilliant works, by Julio Polar and others. Mid-modernism and bold. + Baixa is around the corner (or two)

Found this little gallery by accident, and such a great find! Learned a lot about a Portuguese artist that I wasn’t aware of before. A very nice building with a range of Pomar’s work. It’s a small gallery, and was empty when we were there, so it only took us 30mins or so to see everything. Only 2€ entry. The lady on the reception was very knowledgeable and passionate about the work, so ended up chatting to her for a further half an hour!

An incredible experience. With a guided tour led by Teresa who, despite the language issues, she in Portuguese and our group mainly speaking Spanish, managed to transmit a passion and spread interest in this great artist.

It's a small place, hard to find but it had a good exposition. I loved the black and white painting, you had to look for sometime to see clearly what animal was. Loved the deep message they transmitted about our impact somehow on the creatures. Loved it

Beautiful gallery. Compact so no fatigue. Also the kinda retrospective that is currently on is a great way to gain an introduction to the work of Pomar. And architects get to see a wee bit of Siza!

Friendly staff, currently free entry because the works were exhibited by art students. Small but nice, 15-30 minute stay.

This museum offered an interesting conversation on the art of creating from the perspective of the artist. And the politics behind creating and the lack of acknowledgement and support artists feel. This gallery can be most appreciated when taking your time to read and engage with the works presented.

This is a small atelier with some Portuguese history replicas. I enjoyed the building it self more than the art. But never the less it is interesting. Free entrance.
