As we know, the first university was founded in Lisbon but the next one went to Coimbra. The University we have today in Lisbon was born in 1911, following the establishment of the Republic. The University of Lisbon is over a hundred years old and many thousands of students have passed through it, including myself. The University of Lisbon has been modernizing, has an excellent teaching staff, excellent auxiliary staff and good service in all departments. You can get there by Metro (University City).

Culture and knowledge have to be accessible to everyone and when you pay it's no longer a "joke"

The National Museum of Natural History and Science in Lisbon, Portugal (Portuguese: Museu Nacional de HistĂłria Natural e da CiĂŞncia) is the country's main nature-focused museum. Established in 1926, the museum operates under the University of Lisbon. Its rich collections, gathered over more than 250 years, span zoology, anthropology, geology and botany. The museum has activities to promote natural history and scientific awareness, with space for art exhibitions, conferences, debates, workshops and courses.
