A beautiful place. The birthplace of our Saint Anthony. Really worth seeing. We also had a mass here and were very close to Saint Anthony :-). A lot of believers come here from all over the beautiful world. Just around the corner is the Basilica of Lisbon where St. Anthony was baptized. So everything is close by but also in the middle of Lisbon

An interesting museum situated near the church. you can find out about the timeline of St Antonio's life and the family history. there are some interactive spaces where you can choose to play some videos about the subject you are interested, offered in Portuguese and English. The most interesting part for me was the slides about the notions and philosophy of St. Antonio. I had no idea about the existence of a term ''Doctor of Church'' but today I found out that this title exist and he is the only Portuguese doctor of church. all the objects are offered with decent description so that is positive point. Also there is a place where you can take a creative selfie and put your email to be sent to you. Besides all these, on my time of visit the staff who were two young girls , they were super friendly ad helpful and speak English very well. Overall I have to admit though it was a small museum, I enjoyed it and it definitely worth a visit.

Nice photo opportunity in front of the fake flower wall, on the street outside, corner between museum and church. Many people take a photo here.

Gorgeous flower wall outside the museum which is a fantastic photo opportunity. Unfortunately I mistook the museum to be an art museum and ended up paying entry with little interest into Saint Anthony as I am not Catholic or particularly religious. It is a very small museum, but might be worth your time and money if it’s your interest.

Watch out: this is the museum of San Antonio and not the Church 😀 Here you can know more about San Antonio’s life, when he was born and what did he do and where in the world there are processions in his name 🙏🏽 The artwork they have inside this little museum is very valuable and are art 🖼️ little gens hidden in Lisboa. Their little store has very nice and selected souvenirs. The staff was super nice to us and they even gave us tips about how to find the church hidden shop (in the church of San Antonio).

We had a guided tour of the museum from Luis which was fantastic. It is a great museum and the staff were lovely. Luis was knowledgeable, funny and thorough, giving us all the details about Sant Antony’s life and legacy. I highly recommend a visit if in Lisboa.

The museum was very quiet . My friend and I were the only visitors at that time . You don't need to buy tickets beforehand. No wait time. The establishment is small but informative. They have a small gift store.

I didn’t get in but I took amazing pictures outside on the wall of flowers. Such a lovely background for taking professional photos.

Terribly rude staff and I would not recommend to go there. It was one of the things that ruined my Lisbon experience! Never enter this place. But in front there was a cool place to take pictures

The museum added a beautiful floral wall outside the entrance. There's usually a few people lined up at the wall to take photos.

I asked for the toilet. Was advised to pay the entrance fee. Explained that all public toilets were closed. Nothing, I had to keep looking for my needs. Very Christian. I was really disappointed.
