An underrated local restaurant if you crave for an authentic non-touristy Portuguese culinary experience. My favorite is actually their free starters- goat cheese (creamy, soft fresh and not overwhelming) and bread (served warm, crispy crusts but soft on the insides) were fantastic. Steak on coffee sauce was very interesting- we have a similar dish in southeast asia where we put sweet instant coffee on pork ribs so it was cool to see a resemblance in the other part of the world. And my other favorite is the salad that came with the grilled sardines- a simple side dish but made fresh and with the right acidity. Loved the locality of the restaurant- I see many regular visitors who rest casually on their tables and reading newspapers.

A neighborhood gem! It was right by our hotel and I’m so glad we went. Cute place with many regulars. Good wines and great prices. I enjoyed the hot bread and cheese brought to the table. The waiter was friendly and suggested dishes for us. He was accommodating when we wanted slightly different dishes. The beef sandwich was wonderful. I love the bread it’s served on. And add a little mustard and some of the very spicy sauce on the table - wow! The pork dish I ordered was amazing. I knew it would be great when i saw all the garlic. So delicious! And with the creamy potatoes and kale or spinach, it was great meal. I had to try the flan. Great burnt Carmel sauce. And a nice strong espresso to cap off a great lunch. I only wish they were open on weekends or for dinner so we could have gone again. At least I’ll have one great lunch and hope to visit again soon.

I simply adore Good restaurant! The ambiance is so inviting and the staff is incredibly friendly. Every time I visit, I'm greeted with a warm smile and excellent service. And let's not forget about the food - it's absolutely delicious! From the appetizers to the main courses, every dish is bursting with flavor. Good restaurant truly knows how to satisfy my taste buds. I highly recommend visiting this lovely establishment for a delightful dining experience.

Local and unassuming Portuguese coffee shop n food! Good service and great food👍 bread n goat cheese comes as a starter and it’s FOC, the house white at 9 euro a bottle is amazing! With the sea bass and the steak w coffee sauce!! It’s amazing👍👍👍

Hidden Gem! Awesome food! We went in, they did not know English that well... they said "beef. Carne!"..we went..."yes, dos!" Hahaa and then it was awsome! Big portion of beef with fries and egg, all cooked to perfection! Must eat! Awsome value!Amazing

The most traditional food you can get in Chiado. No food pictures in the menu and no English ! Just go there and enjoy the true Portuguese "Tasca".

I came across this restaurant by chance and I don't regret going there to eat.The food totally suited our taste because I like to eat fish so I was delighted. The prices are quite okay and the service is great.

Delicious food , cozy environment and friendly staff. We had the “Arroz de Marisco” and the “Espetada de Vitela” . The portions are generous and the food tasty. I recommend also have the cheese as an appetiser.

Cash only. Place is small, expect to be very close to other people dining. Food was ok, nothing special. Cotoleta was rubbery but tasted good, and the greens salad didn't taste fresh, had a lot of bad garlic taste. Affordable prices.

Easily the worst food I had in Portugal. Almost raw meat with an over cooked egg on top. Asked for a beer, they offered Heineken.

We tried to go at 18:30 on a Wednesday and it was closed. Seems that many Lisbon restaurateurs don’t take time to update their Google maps listings and so the hours are not accurate. Bummer!

I tried the francesinha with the fries but I was very disappointed, the fries were old and the sauce was very bitter. That was how I wasted 1 hour and a half and £13

Disappointed. Bacalhau was dry and salty, everything else was okay. Nothing special.

Hidden traditional local gem hidden in the middle of the city centre. High quality food, proper local recipes, unbeatable atmosphere and prices. Staff doesn't speak English but still very friendly and helpful. Come here to run away from gentrification and tourists traps. Bull steak with miga de cove highly recommended.

I turned up and the kitchen was closed. Despite that they made me this fantastic duck rice for 12 euros.

That's what we call stealing! As soon as you seat, they bring you 2 starters without asking and of course you have to pay for it. The bread is also not free. The bottle of water is 4 euros. And the fish was not even good. Bad experience!
