Believe me, you don’t want to subscribe to this gym. I was stupid to think that if I’m paying 80€ per month, I would get a premium service. In fact, I have never seen such a terrible gym. - You’re not going to be treated well, I can assure you. Their gym is a huge factory, and they only care about your money. - About 10% of the machines are always broken - it’s been 3 weeks and nothing has changed. - Everyone is too busy to answer or help you. Sometimes, you can wait up to 20 minutes at the gym counter to speak to someone. - They will try to scam you (look at the other comments for details). The only positive thing is the swimming pool & spa, and you can get that in other places for cheaper.

As a “member” I can say that it is an offense to pay so much (60~90€ depending your negotiation) for a “premium” gym and have to see equipment damaged for more than months. Wi-Fi never works, massage offered at the entrance is only 15 minutes to sell you more later… Nutritionist? Better get something ready on the internet, another bait to sell you a nutritional package and then follow up: The space is beautiful, equipment has good quality, but Holmes place looks like those beautiful cars on the outside and full of problems on the inside. If they fix the aforementioned points I can think about reevaluating, but at the moment I don't recommend it to anyone. Edit: The renewal of the contract is automatic, that is, you will always pay a cancellation fee. Edit1: My monthly fee was increased even though I signed a 1 year contract, with 5 months they increased by 5 euros.

This is absolutely the worst gym I have ever been to. After discussing my contract and explaining that I will go for a monthly membership because I knew that I would move in the next couple of months I signed everything. I only had to pay but sadly my card got declined. When I came back another day to make my payment Ruben one of the managers was helping me he told me that I was lucky because they had a new action so I did not have to pay the first month. Great I thought what a service. Ruben has never notified me that this was for another membership 12months! Instead of telling me this he has fraud my signed contract he has written over my signed documents. I am so shocked that a big expensive place like this has done this to me. They are not replying to my messages anymore. Don’t ever sign a contact here they will fraud you to!!

Practically in addition to being a gym the place actively serves as a sex sauna. I personally witnessed several events in which people were followed to the showers, had sex in shower cells while children were around in other cells. One time I entered into a shower after a couple were having too much fun and found piles of human waste on the floor. Complaint to the employees of the place were answered that they are familiar with this, however not planning to take any action against it. I can only assume that it's because the clients that are members already know what they sign up for.

Typical commercial gym. High cost, which seems worth it at the start. But the equipment here is not that great, and they are a bit sneaky with the contracts. Eg. They said you get free massage when you sign up, but it turns out you actually only get 15mins added to a massage that you have to pay for. These kinds of things. It cost €200 to cancel my membership. My recommendation would be to go to one of the many great neighbourhood gyms in Lisbon. They’re everywhere, have great vibes and nice people, have better equipment, and cost one third to one quarter of the price.

Membership at this gym is a contract with the devil. They say they give you all the details when signing the contract but they write things down in a note and as soon as you ask for it they say they've thrown it away. Don't believe if they say you have to sign immediately otherwise the offer expires, because in the following days the offers are the same. In short, they try not to have clear communication with you because it's better not knowing everything about how the contract works (for example, they don't specify that the contract is annual and to cancel it you have to pay a lot of money). Canceling it is almost impossible even though they describe it as very easy. I was "lucky": I used a medical certificate because I had health problems and I didn't have to pay the huge amount they want to cancel. It's a shame because the gym is very nice, the location is excellent and the pilates teachers are kind and very competent.

The worst gym I've ever been to. On the surface, everything looks decent, but when it comes to training, everything becomes very sad. Almost all the time there are a lot of people that it is uncomfortable to train. There are no mirrors in the area with mats, which makes this area not comfortable. You can't sign up for group classes, or you need to set an alarm early in the morning and run to sign up until all the slots are occupied. And so all the time ! When I did manage to get to a group class, I was disappointed with the coach. Zero attention, as who does the exercises, people can easily get injured. Since I went to this gym in the first place because of group classes, I decided to cancel the contract, even though it costs a decent amount of money. I tried to contact online about the cancellation, they answered me once every two weeks, in the end I came and paid everything personally, all the pennies that were voiced to me. And then they sent another check for payment, which no one told me about in person. I must also say that they spelled my name wrong and did not bother to correct it. In general, the purpose of this place is to sell as much as possible and shake out the money. As long as they put money first, and not a service and happy customers, nothing good will happen here.

I was invited to try this gym, yet, when I arrived there, the sales manager told me that they don’t offer trial days. This is one the most expensive gyms in Lisbon, of course I’d like to see the establishment before signing up. I was turned away without even even an offer of being shown around. Sales manager didn’t speak English at all. My experience didn’t match their marketing at all.

Amazing facilities with lots of different machines, free weights, classes and an amazing spa area with pool, steam room and sauna. It also has a big common area where you can work and grab food from the cafeteria. The gym has a huge potential, but it’s very poorly managed (hence the 3 star rating). The sales reps will scam you with the classic “Last month offering” and it’s incredibly hard to leave the contract (automatic renewing). You basically need to give 3-month advance notice, or present a medical prescription, in order to cancel the subscription. The contract also offers a free consultation, physiotherapy and nutritionist, but they fail to provide these services. Lastly, if you’re a man, you’re in for a surprise in the locker room. Avoid the sauna, unless you want to feel like a piece of meat. I’ve complained more than twice about dudes banging in the showers and saunas. I just try to avoid the lockers as much as possible. Overall, the gym has a huge potential and the facilities are indeed great and clean. On the other hand, the constant scams and lack of action regarding creepy dudes in the men’s locker rooms (perhaps revoke memberships once you hear about these), makes it hard to give a better rating. One of the most expensive gyms in Lisbon and management is very poor, combined with shady sales team.

Been a member of this gym for almost 3 years. Unfortunately management has deteriorated significantly! * This week the sauna has been inoperative. There was no sign, no email, no warning, anywhere. I was told that “a fuse went out and we’ve been struggling to find it”. What??? A so-called “premium” gym like this doesn’t keep backup fuses? It’s absurd. The receptionist told me that “this is how things work in Portugal”, and expected me to be ok with not receiving the service I’m paying for. The complacency and arrogance are unacceptable. * The top section of the mechanical stairs have been inoperative for months now. * They keep the elastic bands under lock, and you have to find the staff to get them. Sometimes there’s no one around. What a pain. * The spa is filthy. You really don’t want to see that place with the lights on. Luckily several new gyms have opened in the area, so there’s plenty of options to choose from now.

An average quality gym, charging much more than they should (150-250 per month), using unethical & scammy business practices (especially to foreigners), and many thefts. On my first day, my belongings were stolen. I told a personal trainer, and he went to the front desk to try and find it, but could not. However, he did tell me that another person just had their belongings stolen as well. This should have been my warning sign to stay away. When signing the contract, they will claim that you must pay all 3 months (their supposed minimum term) upfront while other members are paying monthly. They will charge you 15/mo for towels, even though they give towels to everyone. They will charge you extra for a locker, even though the paid lockers are smaller then the regular free lockers (and further away). There are all sorts of unethical clauses in the contract to make everything more difficult for the member, and they never tell you about them. They rush you through the 20 or so pages in the hopes you will not read it. Good luck cancelling your subscription later. And to top of off, when trying to get help, the staff will try as hard as they can to NOT help you, and give you rude behavior. They act as if you are not welcomed (except when you are signing the contract). I've had gym memberships in several countries, and I can confidently say this is the worst and most unethical business I've seen. It's crazy they claim to be "luxury". But the definition of a luxury service is to make things easier for the member, not the reverse. I don't think the managers of this place understand what a luxury service should be.

One of Lisbon’s only premium gyms, what it lacks in customer experience, it partially makes up in space and great pool/spa area (having both Finnish and Turkish saunas) I continue to pay its premium prices as unfortunately the center of Lisbon doesn’t have any other options. I will try to give an impartial view of my experience in the gym the past 2 years, with the hope that management will take this into account for improvement of their gym. Pros: Huge Space in the center of a capital city - I’ve lived around Europe and have never seen a gym this spacious, a huge plus Pool and Spa Area - very big, calm, one of the main reasons I pay for Holmes Place Cafe - reasonable cafe, friendly people working there. OK food Cons: Non-“Premium” Customer Service (with the exception of some of the people working in the front desk). If you lose something, good luck getting someone to help you find something. Want to have a friend for a day, have them pay half a month’s fee to visit just for one day. Upset that you didn’t know they close for Carnival early (not a public holiday), you should have checked their app. It has a very “customer-is-never-right” attitude, pervasive in Europe, but thought it would be different in a gym that charges 80+ euros a month (for under 30 year olds) Once, one of the Gym weight cleaners even went so far as to yell at me publically, as he deemed I was disrespecting him for not using a white towel between my back and a machine (that’s a law in Portugal). His manager did nothing at the time to stop his tirade, and just stood by quietly as an EMPLOYEE screamed publicly at a CUSTOMER. As mentioned in other reviews, the sales people will completely ignore you after signing you onto their opaquely priced packages. I work in sales, and maybe caring about the client journey instead of a quick sale would do them well. You also are left with the sense that everyone is charged a different membership price, as the salespeople sell different packages depending on what month the subscription is in their quota cycle. One pays €100, while someone else is paying 50€ for the same service. Never understood why pricing can’t be off-the-shelf, with publicly available prices. It’s a gym membership, not an enterprise software subscription. Recommendation: get a membership in the end of the year/month, not in the middle, if you want to save money Maintenance - No hot water for at least 3 days of the week, with no explanation, comment, apology, besides a small laminated paper in the front desk. You discover if there is hot water by going to the actual showers. Everyday is a surprise. Machines, toilets, lights, driers are often broken for weeks on end. Broken mirrors in the main gym area for months. Seems like these things just don’t matter. Personal Trainer Program - In busy hours, you as a member are competing with the Gym’s PT for equipment. For example, once a PT asked me how many minutes I had left using a bench, and after I answered him, the same individual comes back in the exact minute I said I would be done and asks if I’m done. I replied that I wasn’t done yet, in which he retorted “you had promised x amount of time”. Such an attitude is unacceptable. If we are members, we have a right to use equipment without the spectre of the Gyms’ paid employees hurrying members to accommodate to their service. Again, limited care for customer over profits. Gym too Crowded - This has led me go to the Gym at lunch (which is now also beginning to become over crowded), to avoid the 7-9 and 17-21 crowding. At peak hours, it is almost impossible to workout. Would be nice if they could focus on customer’s experience first, and adding new customers second. WiFi/Phone Connection - WiFi never works, only in the lobby! Phone service also does not penetrate the building. Basically if you’re working out here, accept that you will have 0 phone connection until the end of your workout. Management has not fixed this in 2.5 years, going back to the point of maintenance.

For 99€ per month I expect more. The only good things about this place are the locker rooms (clean and spacious) and the spa/pool area. Everything else is pretentious and you can find much better gyms around Lisbon. The use of space in the gym is terrible. For the weights section there isn't enough floorspace. For example if you have more then 3 people in one area it's uncomfortable and just two benches. Not to mention a limited number of weights. In the stretching areas, again not enough floorspace. Plus there are no mirror's around for you to check your posture etc. The machines are old. For an extra 40€ per month you can chat with a nutritionist 2 times per month. I strongly advise against this. You're given a copied and pasted spreadsheet by someone who really doesn't care about your individual needs. And when you say something doesn't work for you you're met with arguments and nothing more. Such an unprofessional service. Plus many times the nutritionist didn't have time for me. Despite us previously agreeing on dates and me paying for the service. I wholeheartedly regret giving Holmes Place a single dime because it's not worth the money. Edit: I remembered some other important things. The classes are not flexible. For example Yoga is at 12 everyday. For 99€ per month there should be flexibility, one class per day is not flexible.

Great facilities, terrible atmosphere and quite rude staff. Every day someone will come talk to you to make sure you remember to put your mask on even on the 5m distance between the lockers and the equipment… Loud announcements about mask wearing. Frontdesk staff has lost all friendliness and have become pure covid nazi’s. Forgot to drop your towel off in the locker room? You get sent back like a schoolboy by the front desk staff. Pay 150 euro for a one month package, and get the 1 euro a day hostel treatment. Lovely. Enjoy working out around a bunch of fake police officers.

You pay about €75 a month at this gym to make use of the facilities which is okay and also includes the restaurant. Yet when you decide to use the restaurant to work and take regularly consumptions the employees of the restaurant seem to enjoy to ask you to leave the restaurant because they have so called clients which need to eat… it’s unreasonable to ask someone to leave who pays just like every other members for these facilities to leave. Whilst looking around there were sufficient empty seats. So I suggested to move to one of the other empty seats but without good reason he said: “no, that’s not possible either” Fun fact they seem to ask this only to foreigners as I’ve been asked multiple times to leave whilst other people there working can remain seated. Very sad service to treat people different based on where they come from but that seems kinda the standard in this country.

(Translated by Google) Gigantic disappointment! Space sells itself as a place of luxury and excellence, but it is nothing more than mediocre. The facilities are OK, but below the expected for a gym with an 80 € monthly fee. The worst problem, however, is the monitoring of students. Training plans prepared without detailing or paying attention to the stated objectives. Few coaches available in the weight room. And nothing helpful to answer questions. They do not say it explicitly, but imply "if you want help, hire a PT".

Don’t have a lot to complain, this club is the best I have ever been. My trainer Bernardo is simply amazing. Your focus on plant based diet is amazing ,However I would like to say you should focus on reducing plastic too and push people to bring their own water bottles. This would reduce a lot of plastic consumption. Thanks.

I would love to leave a good review to the gym itself, but my attempt to visit and sign out was met with extreme rude receptionist. For the “luxury” the place positioning itself I would expect much more friendly stuff, who if can’t help you would at least communicate with you in a proper way

The customer service with this gym is very disappointing. After cancelling my subscription with this gym on time, I was charged the monthly fee twice for the next two months. When I realized and contacted Alex, my contact at the studio, he ignored my messages. I called the front desk of the gym multiple times now and still haven’t been refunded my money. For everyone moving to Lisbon and looking for a gym: this is not worth it .

A friend said that there is a very rude receptionist who throws in the towels. Always in a bad mood. Sometimes the heater is very hot in the lounge and they only turn on the air after complaining. And when complaining on the phone, an employee calls strangers stupid and rude. I pay to use towels but I notice that some members do not use towels. I prefer to cancel. Pts spend hours talking to the client on the device and don't let the other partners do the exercises. Wifi doesn't work, as a gym of this size doesn't have Internet.

I have been a member of this gym for almost a year and leme tell you this. The premium word exists only in the name. Every now and then they are dealing with a different kind of problem. Sometime the jacuzzi isn’t operational, sometime the sauna is out of order, other times Turkish bath has a technical issue. Now the dryer has been under maintenance for almost a month. If they can’t get it repaired they don’t even bother to install a new one. The mere cost of this membership should not exceed 40/50 bucks considering the services they are providing. I guess the only reason they are surviving is lack of competition. Their customer service is non existent as they take ages to get back to you. Simply extortion of money. Also at the time of joining their staff told me that I can freeze the membership when I wanted, but now they have changed the rule where in members can only freeze their membership for a month in a year. There is a lack of mis communication for everything.

From my initial 5 starts at this gym, I have moved to one star. Slowly with time they lost their excellence and became like any low cost gym. Upper staff of this gym is utterly rude and they started abusing the direct-debit that even my bank flagged. They are losing lot of clients and posing higher prices for current members just to break even. Services like SPA, sauna and Turkish bath are in terrible conditions, not being renovated for years. Definitely not a good gym anymore and for sure not a gym worth 82€.

I have arrived to Lisbon four days ago. Looking for an ordinary GYM but Holmes get my attention. I was curious about whether it is over priced or not but after than a tour with Ugo, I am totally sold and registered. SPA is well equipped. The pool is cared carefully and so clean. Equipments are modern. They have a great cafe called Alquimia. Prices are so affordable. A ramp steak is 7€, toasts are 2-3€. Cheaper than outside and exclusive for club members. The place is not crowded. I plan to spend my hours at here for not only sports but also for working at the great cafe with comfortable chairs.

3 starts for central location, nice chill area and equipment. Lately been updated with more machines and weights which is a definite plus because this allows more people to workout simultaneously. WiFi can be faulty at times but if you are patient enough- eventually it works. People working in a cafeteria/restaurant are always super nice and if you are there frequently - they remember your order :) But what about fixing the elevator to the training area? Cleaning showers on time and actually have ANY soap in the dispensers throughout the lockers? Fixing leaking ceiling in the free weights area? The other day I was working out and literally felt water dripping on me from the top. I’m going to HP 4 times a week and it’s been there for the past 2 weeks at least. Place is literally falling apart here and there which obviously affects how others perceive the club, these things should not happen in “premium” gym and even if they do- they should be fixed in a heartbeat. Also, you are again raising the monthly price + have a nerve to offer new premium packages when you can’t even cater properly to the basic one? Come on.

Worst service ever!!! Was just interested in going to the pool. Called 3 times, no one knew the monthly fee to inform me. Went there in person, still the lady working there didn’t know the price. Finally I got a commercial representative to take my call (calling me back??... no forget it) and she explained that because they are premium and a very selective institution they wouldn’t say a price over the phone (ok, but they didn’t say it when I was in person either). Don’t wait your energy or money here

If you signed a loyalty contract, be prepared to pay a lot if you really need to leave. They don't even accept a medical certificate. If you change country, this is also no reason to cancel. The club runs on money and after you sign the contract (it's more like a pact) they won't treat you the same way. Just look at the comments and you will understand what I am saying. I will never set foot in this place again!

(Translated by Google) I don't like that they don't have official and regulated rates and that it looks like an Arab bazaar, where prices have to be negotiated. They put a lot of pressure on you to sign the contract, but then they forget about you. I still haven't received any response to a complaint for a tariff hike two months after the start. Three months later, I still don't have the physical pre-assessment in the personal tester test. Beautiful gym, but service was disappointing for an upscale place like this. I booked a tour with a salesperson (which he confirmed), but when I arrived, i sat for 30 minutes alone waiting for someone to show me the gym. The salesperson missed our appointment entirely 😵. A colleague finally had to take over and show me around. It's a lovely place, but a bad first impression. I was excited and ready to join, but sadly they lost this future customer.

Super high quality gym. Good equipment. Also received great advice from their in-house nutritionist. When back in Lisbon we will come back. We saw a lot of expats here too, working from the cafeteria. Great combination and space to combine a little work with gym time. A gym that really offers a full round service. They also have plant-based workshops which looked amazing. Their spa facilities are also very nice, jacuzzi, sauna swimming pool etc.

Love this gym! I have a membership both here and Amoreiras and this location is much better. It has so many workout machines if you want to use those, a wonderful yoga studio and a large area for you to do your own training if you’d like. The classes are great and the food area plus lounge areas are great. Highly recommend this gym!

Great staff, friendly, keen to make you feel at home. Large facility, spa. Gym area can be crowded after work hours. Please plan the free weight area/barbell and gym machine area better, everyone is crowded in a small space, it can be avoided if you spread out the machines and free weights better. 😊💪

Good gym, but not really premium, and therefore not worth the price. Good option if you want the extras (pool, spa) and don’t mind spending double of other local gyms. The gym area isn’t one of a premium gym, and there’s always something broken. PS- the opening hours listed on the door are wrong, they could at least keep that up-to-date so customers don’t get confused.

Terrible place for foreigners! If any foreigners see this please make sure you read each and every conditions applied! I was offered a package without even mentioning that the package was for a year! Specially in my case I hardly stay in lisbon 2-3 months a year, later after joining for 2 months while trying to cancel the package, I was told to pay 400€ extra cause it was a package for a year! Terrible! I wouldn’t sign the contract if I knew it was for a year! Secondly, aren’t they obliged to let us know about the time frame and all! Foreigners are taken as granted and this is the message to all the foreigners please make sure to get all the details, they don’t let you know anything and make you sign the contract saying it’s just a formality! They will force you to sign all the forms within 10 seconds and tell you that the contract will be sent to you via email! This happened to me because I never imagined something like this might happen to me! It’s about trust and understanding which I don’t think they will understand! For sure I’m going to take a legal action regarding this issue! Seriously!

I have waited a couple of weeks to write this review because I wanted to really see how the club works. The facilities are very good, the club is very clean. I met with a representative named Ruben prior to signing up. He was very informative and conveyed a lot of information to assist in making the right decisions regarding my membership. He obviously understands the “ins and outs” of how the club works and is able to convey information in very easy to understand terms. I have already met with a nutritionist, and I’m waiting to hear from the physiotherapist and personal trainer. The only factor which I would like to improve, is the availability of food. It would be nice if it was available throughout the day rather than just until the afternoon.

I'm a customer, I love the club but unfortunately you have to turn a blind eye to other customers who don't respect others! They leave equipment inappropriately out of place and towels spread around the changing room as if they were at home!

Not fully transparent, fair or reasonable canceling policy. They say you can cancel with 30 days notice but in fact if you don’t do it until the end of the month they will make you pay 2 months. E.g. If you cancel on the 1st December you have to pay December and January!!!

(Translated by Google) I am a member of Holmes Place, the space is excellent, perhaps the best in the country. I was already a virgin customer and because I liked the space so much, I returned. Regarding the most important in a company, it leaves much to be desired. They use aggressive markting to sell their service with some pressure from commercials. After the contract is made, the customer becomes just another monthly fee. To maintain a customer it is important to satisfy them for their continuity. We only have to lose, we are 3 partners (or 3 monthly fees) Holmes place sotto mayor, Primium space with Low Cost service. Good gym overall, clean, many equipment and different zones. 1 star for almost never(!) having soap in the shower rooms, this in not acceptable for premium gym and 80€ per month. I’ll change the rating once you fix the soap. Thanks

I didn't even stay at the Club for 5 days and I had requested the cancellation of the contract, in writing, on 11/15/2023, in addition to having responded to emails indicating my cancellation position, they insisted on sending charges via emails, calls and the worst, make a debit to my bank account, as if the contract was ACTIVE and I was attending the gym. I am aware of the cancellation policy, but no one is EVER obliged to stay tied to the loyalty period, MANDATORY....... Furthermore, they are not friendly when it comes to trying to resolve the problems, at the moment we sign the respective contract they are extremely polite and, subsequently, they COMPLETELY change their attitude when dealing with the Customer. I'm feeling really bad about the treatment I've been receiving at HOLMES PLACE and they're really making me anxious about this situation, something that is SIMPLE is turning into something extremely COMPLEX.

I don't understand how a gym of this size with high fees doesn't have Wi-Fi in all spaces, and with absolutely no area either, I don't think a Wi-Fi booster is expensive. Some Pts are chatting with members on devices that make training difficult for other members. Lack of respect.

Nice gym. Not crowded as I like. Should have more equipment but usually it's fine as there are not so many people there. The price is high but it's worth it as you can enjoy a lot of things like Sauna, Spa, Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Physiotherapy...you can also find a bar where you can eat and drink.

Awesome gym to have a great workout and also relax afterwards. The spa area is fully equipped with a jacuzzi, a dry and wet sauna and lots of shower cabinets. The locker room is also very spacious. It's never super busy like other gym clubs, but there's a fair price for all of these perks.

This is a former Virgin Active gym which Holmes Place took over. Access only for members. Very spacious underground gym that won't make you feel suffocated. Wide variety of group exercise classes. Approximately 25 meters swimming pool. Big pool spa with turkish bath. A cafeteria that caters for the health conscious eaters and the not so conscious.

There is never any shower gel at men cabins! Like during my last 10 visits I could not find any and dispenser was always empty. I guess for this monthly price range it’s a kind of basic higiene thing for the gym. Thank you! Reply to your comment bellow No I can’t ask directly! Amazing gym, has everything you need and has mostly doubles some triples of each machine! I recommend going before 5pm if you prefer avoiding a crowded gym. The open coworking space is super nice as well, if you go gym in between meetings/work.

Beautiful facility. Well kept. Clean (important). Members are respectful. Gorgeous pool and aqua spa. Crowded at times but not insane. However, the membership service is not honest. I was promised a physiotherapy, personal trainer, and nutritionist visit every 3 months. Then when i signed up they said it’s available every 6 months. I was promised day passes for friends who may want to try the gym. When asked, none exist. These small things matter. It makes me believe something else will go wrong, just as many others here have shared. The management needs to read these and re-evaluate operations. Poor operations at a luxury facility at expensive price is bad business.

Well past it’s prime. Overcrowded. Lines for every piece of equipment. Showers are awful - no soap ever - water that that runs for three seconds and stops. This place needs a major renovation. Not up to Holmes Place standards.

Many of the machines are dated compared to the States (but this isn't the Staes)and the free weight area is cramped. But my real complaint about this gym is twofold, they don't seem to set an example of promoting good health. It is the first gym that i've ever encountered a cafe , food, display with sugar based pastries and yes, coca cola. I got it, nothing says Portugal better than Pastel de nata but sorry, raise the bar and standards. And my other observation / complaint, i really don't want to see HP staff, managers and trainers smoking outside the gym entrance. Take a walk, do it somewhere else. You are the ones members look up to or should look up to.

I have been visiting this gym for over 6 months now. In the beginning everything seemed fine. But now I understand that the attitude of the club’s managers is simply terrible. They cannot solve any of my questions, although they present themselves as a premium club. All they can do is to apologize. When signing the contract, manager Ruben said that after 3 months of the promotional period the discount would continue to apply. But for 4 months now I have been charged the full price. And every month the manager promises to solve my problem. Moreover, they still haven’t even sent me a copy of the contract by email. He also said that I could terminate the contract at any time by notifying the gym one month in advance and paying a fee of 29 euros. And now it turns out that I still have to pay a fine for 2 months. And there are too many people here for a premium club. And, something is always broken in the locker room, shower and spa. There would probably be fewer complaints if the price were not 3 times higher than in other clubs in Lisbon. And it would be noticeable that customer issues are being resolved. I saw in the reviews that not only I am facing these problems, but the club management is doing nothing.

The sales manager may initially convey that cancellation is possible on a monthly basis. However, it later becomes apparent that this option is only available after the completion of one year. The situation is particularly unfortunate for expats, given that the contract is solely in Portuguese, placing them at a disadvantage. I had to compose an excessive number of emails to terminate the contract, enduring weeks of waiting for responses. This gym has been the most unsatisfactory one I've ever experienced, and I won't be endorsing it to anyone.

Management does not have any form of accountability. No apologies for any problems that come up in the club. GM even attempts to avoid you when they see you are disgruntled. Replace the Management.. Front desk can hardly help at all. Old Portuguese man working there is extremely rude and has a snarky attitude. Learn how to treat customers well.. Don’t be fooled by the answers to reviews here. They don’t look into anything, and don’t improve anything.

Have been enjoying this clube and it's facilities since the time it was part of Virgin group. This year unfortunately was the worst in terms of general services. Of course we can have bad luck and experience faulty services, broken sauna / steam bath, no water after training, etc. That happens, what I was not expecting is the lack of consideration for the members, lack of clear communication of what's happening and the foreseen resolution, in any of the channel available, not even inside the clube while waiting for water to be available to take a bath, no announcements, nothing. That is regrettable, that is below the expectations considering the increased monthly amount required to keep on using those facilities.
