The bathrooms are not well kept. No shower gel in the bathroom. But the room was clean.

Very clean place, i wish the guests would be more respectful for others but hey...it's a hostel. The location is not the greatest but for the price and conditions is best

We spent a few days in 2018. It's a very good hostel...accommodation and services are fine. Excellent value for money. In the photo the view from the second floor window (National Pantheon)

Such a brief stay before going to the airport.. Only saw the hostel in the darkness, but the staff we met were really helpful. And the bed was amazing!!

I have been here last week with my sister and since the beginning I had a bad impression of this place: our room (shared one) was really small, composed just by 2 castle-bed and there were not place almost neither for us standing. there were not heating since we asked for, because it was raining and the room was so humid that the beds close to the windows were wet...seriuosly wet...so my jacket when I left it close to the window - because there were not other place - . The bathroom upstair (same floor of the room) is not usefull: when you get shower you need to put on the floor shampoo and gel douche, you can not hang the towel anywhere but on the WC and it is just ONE female bathroom... About the hospitality, people working there gave us NOT information about tram station or whatever, and, lucky me, during the afternoon, I was just having rest for half an hour, and a girl came in to prepare a bed for another client coming in the night...First of all they should do cleaning in the morning - as is written at the reception information paper -, then, she was remaking the bed in wich I was sleeping. She saw my pijama on it, she did not know that it was mine but she did not ask about. The time I went to the bathroom and come back, and my pijiama was on the floor... What the hell? there are other 2 bed to remake! Mine was the only one with a pijama on it and you throw it away??? It is crazy, unconfortable and even more I still have problem with my neck for the humid in the room...It has been 3 days now that I am back in Italy... I hope that they will improve their business!

The price was good and also the room. Reception was super friendly. Only problem, they clean in the middle of the night, very loudly.

Bad choice ever. The double room I reserved was too small, there wasnā€™t enough space even for my luggage. Bed sheets were not particularly clean, since I found hair inside. Good position, very close to the Alfama area.

The staff was very nice, but I have to give two stars because the bathrooms were pretty dirty and there were so many people sharing one so we always had to wait in the mornings. Also my pillowcases had visible stains on them. The neighbors sharing the spaces also sounded extremely sick nonstop coughing and sneezing during the covid pandemic which isnā€™t the hostelā€™s fault, but made the whole stay uncomfortable. It was super cheap so we were like whatever, but I wouldā€™ve paid double for another place.

They charged us 30ā‚¬ more of what was indicated in the booking for "tourist taxes". The toilets were not very clean. Enough if you only want to sleep.

Had a great stay at Train Hostel. The staff in incredibly friendly, it's really clean and I like the little curtain for the bed. Met some really nice fellow backpackers and the location is perfect: not in the busy centre but not too far from it either. I would definitely recommend anyone staying in Lisbon to go to Train Hostel!

I went in June last year, a mixed shared room including an employee, there was no camera, I'm sure it was stolen by someone who lived in that room
