Price: 1. Charged €159 for a €41 bottle of wine. 2. The price of Lobster rice is €140/kg. But they never showed the weight. One bowl of lobster rice shown in the picture at the end costs €84 Food: 1. Rice is undercooked. 2. Both lamb leg and veal are good Service: I pour wine and water for the family. Service does not match the price they dare to charge.

Our lunch today at Pabe, in the heart of Lisbon was an excellent surprise. We went in, not knowing what to expect and we found an amazing fine dining restaurant. The home baked bread with butter, the special amuse bouche from the chef, our mains: lamb and beef sirloin, the sweet surprises from the end of the meal and the aroma of the espresso, were the compunds of an amazing culinary experience. Best service that I had found in a while and an interesting story about the history of the place made my day.

Unfortunately feels like a bit of a tourist trap. Doing everything they can to not show the prices and up-sell you. Gin and tonic is €20 which is outrageous for Lisbon. Food tastes good, shame about the tourist trap vibes.

The food is not bad but also nothing I ate was memorable. The amuse bouche was a beef small appetizer and that in fact was the best thing I ate there. The 3 hot appetizers did not have much taste or the taste was a bit odd. The bread cover was good. My seafood pasta main was underwhelming but ok. The prices were the highest of all the restaurants I tried in Lisbon, and I was expecting the food to be better. The service was ok but I wasn't given much of an introduction to dishes when I asked the waiter for any highlights.

Good meal some dishes very good the crab starter & garlic shrimps. The mains where ok not spectacular deserts where sub par. The price is very high and at that price range you expect every dish to be a 9.5-10 no 7-8. 110€pp one glass or Red wine each.

This restaurant was closed to our staying place and it's a gem. The decor is reminiscent of an old British Pub, the service the old French School [read Old as a compliment]. But the Food is First Class neat and deliciously prepared. Even a simple Fruit Salad was made with tasty fruits. Highly recommended!

Incredible food, cooked perfectly to achieve maximum taste and all meat simply melts in your mouth, great service too! Overall a worthwhile experience and definitely one to remember!

Fantastic fine dining experience in Lisbon. Our dinner there was the best meal of our trip to parts of Portugal and Spain. The food was spectacular, service impeccable, and atmosphere quiet with appropriate decor typical for a fine dining establishment. For those looking for a more dining experience with a more lively atmosphere, you may be taken in by the food and service, but it is a gamble, and I may recommend you look elsewhere. But if food and service are the priorities, and you want the ability to have a conversation without having to raise your voice over background noise then you don't have to look further. The food was immaculately presented, perfectly prepared - flavorful, done just the right amount, with appropriately size servings. Everything - appetizers, entrees, and desserts, were a delight. It is clear that the chef and staff take pride in what they do, and ensure sure you have a memorable dining experience. My regret: I didn't get to try the crepes suzette.

The Tornedó Rossini, Madeira sauce and confit fig was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing. We were taken care of by 3 different waiters and the Manager. They were polite, friendly and professional. It was a great experience that my wife and I will remember. We would absolutely come back. Oh, and they have these amazing little ceramic table candle votives that have amazing detail by Bernardaud, that I will probably end up buying.

I used to go there quite frequently. Unfortunately, they deceived me and overcharged me on the wines. I can tolerate their high prices, but it is hard to forgive the bad character. I complained, but the restaurant manager did not apologise or remove the overcharged items. He simply said it wouldn’t happen again. I guess he was right on that one.

Incredibly over priced!! Nice food but not exceptional in anyway! 34€ pp for glorified fish and chips... But they forgot the chips. Not advised! Find a tiny hole in the wall for a quarter of the price and better quality.

A very expensive but extremely superb experience. They know their kitchen to the point. To be recommended. Fish and beef courses are very good. The bearnaise sauce is really good, all done in hand. The staff is extremely attentive. Loved it.

Superb experience in every way. Amazingly attentive service. I had the kid lamb that was mouth-watering, yet subtle and highly refined. Impressive cheese selection! I ate there alone, so only ordered wines by glass. But, by glass, they offered a superb 10-year old Douro red that combined very well with the lamb. Trust the wait-staff for recommendations. I was here about five years ago with my girlfriend and had a similar, amazing experience. It has maintained a high-level of old-world top quality experience. Well worth the price.

Pabe is a JACKPOT… I have tried many foe gras in my life but foe gras appetizer is hands down the best one i remember ever having. We originally came to try “the best duck in the world” but got tempted away by baby goat and kidlamb and do not regret it for a minute! Overall, the best culinary experience in Lisboa. To top the quality of food is a lovely ambiance and friendly, professional service. Not even mentioning the mind blowing dessert-THE CRAPE!…

I just left Pabe after having a fantastic dining experience. Being in town for business, I often dine alone. The servers at the restaurant engaged in conversation, but also knew when to give me space to eat etc. The restaurant reminds me of a mix between an old pub or 80’s steakhouse and I love it. The style of service was very traditional, but friendly. Loved the food options, I tried the Scotch truffle egg made with their smoked pork and their slow roasted lamb and even managed to spare some room for a dessert. Everything was fantastic. The sommelier gave me a wonderful recommendation for a glass of wine, and I left with a huge smile. Definitely recommend if you like old school good food and service.

They were very rude before entering. It's mandatory to have an antigen test 48h before entering which they offered us for 4.5 eur which was fine but they understud that we didn't want to pay for it. The comment we got was if they can't pay for a 4.5 eur test they won't be able to pay for our food. Well... We left.

Excellent food and service. The scallop dish was my favorite. The octopus was my main dish and it was exquisite. Highly recommend this place - get the Cidra Chardonnay to pair with fish dishes. Outstanding.

This was really a nice surprise. I was heading to another restaurant and didn't have seats for us so we just crossed the street and there it was. Service was top-notch, food was incredible specially the Carpaccio and the Portuguese cheese, wine recommended it was great and we loved the ambiance. I highly recommend this place. It is pricey for most nice restaurants here in Europe but hey! It's worthy 🙌
