OK, so I find myself in quite a conflicting position here. First off, the place is nice. Don't get me wrong - the vibe is nice and the prices are reasonable. The guy was even nice enough to eventually hook me up with a new mask after I foolishly lost mine. But... There's a list of gripes I feel really need to be addressed: 1) the service is confusing. What language are we communicating in? And who's serving my table again? 2) the house wine from the bottle is far superior to the house wine from the flask. No distinction is made, which borders on false marketing. 3) most importantly, however, the cutlery simply wasn't clean. So, what am I left with here? A not so good restaurant with decent food? A mediocre restaurant with mediocre food? Relatively good food with a questionable restaurant? Questionable questions in a restaurant? All of these are questions, questionably.

One of the best places to eat a pizza in Lisbon. I come here often and never has it let me down. The service is very efficient and nice, but nothing fancy. The pizzas are Italian style with thin base and Mediterranean flavors. They are amazingly good. The only issue is that there is usually a queue for a table. We waited for about 40 minutes as we arrived at 20h, which is usually the dinner peak time for Portuguese people. Arriving at or before 1930 will avoid the queue usually

One of the best Italian restaurants in Lisbon, with a cool/relax attitude, unbeatable prices, great service and amazing location. The food, especially the pizzas, is great, as is the outside seating when the weather is good. Highly recommended!

Far from being an authentic Italian restaurant. Mediocre food, poor service and uncomfortable seats. I attached photos of what they call “focaccia with mortadella” on their menu, I thought it was a joke when they presented me the crunchy base that they use as their pizza base and call it focaccia. Arancini was dry, no tomatoes sauce inside or cheese, very bland taste. It’s an insult to italian cusine. As an Italian, I do not recommend.

Very good pizza place and also try the different fruit sangrias they have. My favorite is the passion fruit! The truffle pizza could have had more truffles and less cheese. The location is very nice close to the river and you can see on the other side Margem Sul. For sure a place I recommend to go. They don’t accept reservations so sometimes there is a queue to get a table.

The food (we ordered a pizza and a pasta dish) was very good, quantity and quality wise. Definitely above what we are used to for an Italian restaurant. One thing of criticism/ feedback we would like to give anyways is that the service seemed to be stressed and unfriendly to us, especially at the beginning when we were seated. The sad thing is that all our requests were met, but in a way that we felt we were stupid asking for them. Overall, it is worth mentioning again, that the food was good (strong recommendation), but a little more welcoming and warmer service would make this a 5-star experience.

That's one of my favorite places in Lisbon. It's simple and with a great cost benefit ratio. Thin crust pizza ranging from 9 to 14 euros, and 1 liter of wine for 11. All of this you can enjoy while looking at the river.

Service, tidiness, transparent kitchen, smell and other factors contribute to my 5* rating. It is definitely a place to visit if you are craving for some pizza.

One of the best wood oven pizza in Lisbon, by the river, which can be served with an icy prosecco with fruit: just sublime. The service has a quite particular detail I value the most: no reservations, only a queue, first come, first served. There's a parking lot literally in front of the door (though it's paid), which is great. Enjoy!

One of the best pizzerias in Lisbon, unique. When you enter a pizzeria, you pass by people who make the dough, and prepare the pizza in front of you. Rich in ingredients, superb dough, in a good location, with very affordable prices (dinner for two, with desserts, a bottle of wine and other small items around 50e)

A must try! Their pizzas are freshly made and some of the best I've ever tested. Not sure whether you'll need to book it on a busy day but managed to get a seat below the canopy with a sea view at the side. Their Nutella pizza was also great as a dessert. However their menu is only available in Portuguese so be prepared :)

Casanova has been my favorite italian restaurant in Lisbon for many years now. Very relaxed atmosphere. Pizzas are the real deal here, but pasta isn't bad either. Location couldn't be better, right outside Santa Apolónia tube station. There's seating outside with a lovely view by Tejo river. Prices are reasonable and fair.

This is far from being the best pizza in Lisbon as some people are saying. It's slightly below average if anything. The location's great and I guess that's why people come here. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Queueing to the door while there are tables sitting empty, waiting for waiters to pay you attention and waiting half an hour for a pizza shows a lack of attention to the customer that seems to be quite common in this city unfortunately. Can't really recommend.

Lovely spot; a stone’s throw from Alfama. Perfectly positioned in a great building on the dockside. Great staff, lovely food and view is amazing.

The pizza was good, but nothing special. The pasta was very good. The Tiramisu was a bit moist but still great. System to call for service with lightbulbs works very effective and shortens the waiting time. However our food didn't arrive at the same time. All in all a great restaurant. Would recommend.

The food was exquisite! The pizzas, pasta, panna cotta and tiramisu were fantastic. The cassata left something to be desired. The staff was slightly rude.

The pizzas were lovely and were very welcomed after a long trip from the UK. We walked about the area looking for somewhere nice to have lunch and were glad that we settled on this place. I can imagine it’s really nice in summer when you can sit outside and look across the water. Would definitely recommend this place for lunch and or dinner!

Very nice environment with friendly and warm people. The chef's head is funny and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea.🤌

Portuguese local pizzaria place with a delicious pizza and a tasteful carpaccio.

This is our second time here. The flavors of the pizza are good. I prefer a pizza crust that is slightly crispier and a bit of char on the crust. The pizza is good, otherwise I would not have returned. Definitely worth a try.... and open late on weekends.

I enjoyed Casanova. I went around 4pm which was nice, since I was able to get a table right next to the water and enjoy a minimal crowd. The waiter was very friendly and we had a lovely chat. The pizza is homemade and the ingredients are fresh (the basil and rosemary are grown right around the tables). If you are a spicy salami lover, I recommend the Diavola, more mild but still delicious I recommend the Rustica. Both were lovely and they let me halve each choice for one pie :)

Not really sure about the hype. It didn’t taste that great. Maybe the shrimp topping was good and the tap water. My husband thought his pizza was decent but I was disappointed with mine. In addition, the additional meat toppings: salami and shrimp was worth $4-4.50. Ridiculous amount if you ask me.

Go here; you have to try it. Diavola pizza is their go-to but the rest are also just amazing. The ingredients quality its super fresh and the service fast and friendly. 🍕🍕
