Wird den Erwartungen eines 5-Sterne-Hotels nicht gerecht! Das Hotel ist sehr weitläufig und ein architektonisches Highlight. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung umfasst unter anderem ein Fitnessstudio, zwei Pools, eine Bar und den Zugang zum Museumsareal Vista Alegre. Allerdings ist der Hotelservice in Bezug auf die Sauberkeit, die Gründlichkeit und die Herzlichkeit nicht auf einem 5-Sterne-Niveau. Man wurde beispielsweise weder von der Rezeption, noch von anderen Mitarbeitern während des kompletten Aufenthalts gegrüßt. Der Barbereich ist verwaist, da Servicepersonal nur auf Aufforderung erscheint, dabei unfreundlich ist und völlig ungeschult wirkt. Grundlegend fehlt es an Reinlichkeit, weil wir halbherzig gereinigte Zimmer mit Resten der Vorgänger bezogen haben. Die Tische im Bar- und Poolbereich waren durchgehend klebrig und fleckig.

Terrible restaurant and bar. I had to apologize about the quality of the restaurant to my guests who we had invited for dinner. Also, for the first time, I was unable to eat breakfast at a hotel I went outside to eat. The quality is awful. The bread is the same size and quality of what you would expect on an economy class flight. Coffee from a vending machine. Watered down fruit juice. Terrible place. All the 5 Star reviews are from 'Local Guides' and are untrue and misleading.

Really nice hotel, very pleased with my experience. I was a bit worried based on the reviews but I didn’t face any problems at all. Good breakfast despite covid measures, bedroom was cleaned and super spacious with great views to the river and the exterior pool. Highly recommend.

Look, I’m going to be honest here; this is far from a 5 star hotel and even not a 3 star. The staff is partially trained, which makes this review difficult. Some are super nice and sweet, where others are quite rude and not attentive. Then the food. Breakfast is ok, you have some options with yoghurt, bread, meat and cheese. This comes free with the reservation. However, the dinner is so bad. The bread from the breakfast is being served and it’s on every table waiting to be eaten by the person who made the reservation. Meaning the bread is dry, tasteless and takes an hour to process in your mouth. It’s good from an ecological standpoint to not throw away the breakfast food, but at least think of something how to maintain fresh bread. The dinner itself is far from spectacular, it’s not expensive either, but hardly any taste or exciting flavors. The beef was ok but the pork was far from easy to consume. Just improve on these points and you make the building worth this hotel.

Nice and modern hotel, especially the spa was very nice. Solid breakfast. Room for improvement: no coffee machine in the room and the coffee at the breakfast spot wasn't good neither

This hotel is amazing. The room is sophisticated and has a nice bathtub and a shower booth, and the breakfast is very good. It became one of our favorites. Especially if you have babies and kids, the staff is friendly to accommodate any needs. Our baby seemed to be comfortable in the room and we are so happy about it.

Sehr modernes Haus mit riesigen Zimmern, sehr schön. Das Restaurant müsste häufiger die Karte wechseln, da doch sehr klein und auch recht teuer. Essen ist gut aber nicht ganz so exklusiv wie es der Preis verspricht. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig aber ohne Auto geht da nichts.

My experience was in the hotel's restaurant. The menu from Chef Rui is the best meal experience we had in years. The view, the atmosphere, the friendly staff... Something to put on your bucket list!

Beautiful hotel. Driving up to the hotel we were not sure... But slowly realised this hotel was beautiful and serene. Is a great couple's get away. But also kid friendly. Located quite nicely between various sites. We stayed at the apartment which had great amenities just like in the pictures and the ceramics museum is well worth the visit.

The hotel in and of itself is good. However, their are a few issues : - very noisy bridge right in front of the hotel (it’s mostly all you hear if you are at the pool) - the bar was not amazing and we waited about 30 mins as no staff was at the bar (we ended up having to leave for dinner before being able to order) - water is very expensive (2€ per small bottle of water) There are other minor complaints that just over all don’t make this hotel feel as luxurious as it claims to be.

Good value for money if your price is <= 140 eur. Definetely not a 5* hotel. Rather 4* conference/event hotel type. Not very private. They shoul have an iron available.

The missing star is just the consequence of a mechanical repetitive noise at night. The staff handled it quickly by upgrading us to a suite (with no noise!). Besides this, all was good and excellent for some parts. The restaurant is of top quality, including the wine suggestions. Very nice place to spend some quality time. The visit of the Vista Alegre factory is a must.

By far the best hotel in the region. The room was extremely nice and tidy. staff very helpful and the facilities such as the pool and the gym nice and almost empty. i actually give 4 stars because of the restaurant. the breakfast buffet is more than decent but most 5 stars offer a la carte options as well as freshly cooked fried eggs/omelette for example. we had our dinner in the restaurant the first night and the service was a bit slow and the food nothing extraordinary. i nontheless very much recommend staying at this hotel!

Great experience. Beautiful views and excellent accommodations. Our room had a great view of the river and a nice balcony to enjoy some snacks or just relax. Staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We will be returning soon.

Very good hotel, but some details that are more of a 4 star hotel than 5 (toilet paper not bad, but not 5*, shower was clogged so pressure was low and I had to tweak it a bit, TV remote did not work well). It's nothing very important, but all sum up gets annoying... So, in my opinion, they need to increase the attention to detail... Maybe I have too high of expectations, but I expect to feel that I'm sleeping in a place better than at home.

I eventually take the time to recommend this fabulous hotel where my family and myself spent a one night stay on the occasion of a visit to Vista Alegre fabric. Fantastic room decorated with a very refined taste, exceptional breakfast, reception staff very friendly (one of them even accepted to pay for us - in exchange for cash reimbursement- a fine we got in Aveiro that could only be paid through a Portuguese bank application). The vicinity of Vista Alegre is a plus obviously! I strongly recommended the hotel !

Great place and facilities. Interior swimming pool. Breakfast was amazing and with many options. They could improve the bedroom shower temperature since it’s constantly changing from hot to cold.
