Really great experience with nice environment and excellent food and views of the river. The meat croquetes and olives are great portions and very tasty. Price is reasonable and service is perfect. Highly recommend stopping by when visiting Lisbon.

We were here in Oct 2022 just before sunset. All we wanted was to enjoy a view with some drinks, an snack, and good conversation, and we were pleased with our experience. We didn't have any other plans for the evening, so the slower paced service didn't really impact us. The service was friendly and helpful. We loved our evening here. The sangria tasted good, though it felt a little light on the alcohol. The cheese plate with the little toast crackers were perfect for what we wanted. And the view...it was gorgeous!

Lovely laid back atmosphere. No touristy music blasting out. View spectacular. Food was divine. Try the amazing passion fruit cheesecake. Lovely staff, just wish I'd got the name of one of the waiters. So friendly and hopefully got the British sense of humour. He deserved the tip we gave. Will be visiting again for sure

We visited SOL a few times as it offered a shady spot to eat with great views of the city and a tasty selection of food and drink. The jugs of sangria are great value, cocktails are good and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Staff are great - very helpful, friendly and effective at managing customers in a very popular spot.

one of the most beautiful places I‘ve ever been to! The view over Lisbon is breathtaking - especially in the evening hours and the location is lovely. A little escape in the middle of the big city. The staff was super friendlly.very nice foods❤️🙏

The view is nice and I like the set up. Tables are not too close to each other which is hard to find in Lisbon. I was surprised that the prices were so reasonable because I expect places like this to charge extra for the views. We just had drinks and they were good.

Lovely cabanas and tables (uncomfortable chairs, but they have sofas) on a rooftop overlooking the neighborhood below it and the bay. Watch ships, people and enjoy the beautiful view. Nice staff. Known for their sangria that they claim is really strong but that known of us felt. Big pitchers though so still a good deal. Great way to spend a few hours in the afternoon.

Absolutely beautiful view and delicious lunch! Also, amazing service. The most kind waitstaff we had in all of Portugal! We ordered the chickpeas and cod, salmon ceviche, and tomato/celery soup. So yummy! Wish we had enough time to go back. The best part of the meal was the passion fruit cheesecake!

Good views and drinks! Stopped here while walking around Lisbon. We had some good ceviche, I didn't like the croquets much but the Rosé was a great finisher.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Sehr freundliches Personal und der Service war sehr gut! Nach einer Tour in Altstadt lohnt sich eine Pause hier.

It is a perfect restaurant to relax and enjoy the amazing view of Lisbon after a tiring day. We ordered white sangria 1.5lt and peanuts and chips and spend around 2.5 hours simply enjoying the view. Its a must try place if you are looking for something fancy but with a reasonable price.

We ate here for dinner after a long day of walking and sightseeing so we were starving had a huge dinner including desserts so our bill was higher than usual here in Lisbon. Prices and portions are comparable to every where else we’ve eaten. Views are amazing and staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

A tourist trap if ever I saw one... my family and I left >80 euro lighter after a thoroughly unremarkable light lunch... My advice is to enjoy the view and perhaps a drink on the balcony but then keep moving and grab your grub somewhere else

It was a lovely spot that we picked for the view. It got a bit chilly after dark (it is February), but the ambiance was nice. We enjoyed our meal, but the menu is limited. Our mocktails were 90% ice.

Beautiful patio out in the sun. We really enjoyed sitting out with a glass of wine, and enjoyed the beautiful views over the city. Prices are a little more than other areas, but the food is delicious and I would recommend getting a glass of wine and some snacks just to appreciate the space.

The white sangria was very good, the views were gorgeous, but we had really poor service and the roast beef sandwich was tough to chew. I did enjoy the chicken tempura Cesar salad, though my mom thought it was a little over dressed.

Food was very nice and contrary to other comments we didn't have to wait really long. Bathrooms could get little upgrade. Waitresses were really kind compared to their male colleagues. Prices kinda high but overall worth the visit.

Perfectly situated. This is a lovely place to take a break and enjoy the bite of Lisbon from the hilltop. Staff are friendly even though they’re super busy.

Great place to stop for lunch. Great views, and very friendly staff. We were only going to stop for a quick drink, but ended up staying longer and having some snacks, and they were superb, especially the cod cakes.

beautiful terrace with the river view! I don’t like cheese or sweet stuff but this cheese cake with maracuja sauce was very nice! I enjoyed the music and atmosphere very much

It's a nice restaurant with an awesome view! Took a while to get served but the food is good, really good selection of drinks tho! Several people where there for the drinks. Somewhat higher prices.

We got a beer and a lemonade. Most staff were good and pleasant but there was a waitress who was very rude. We moved from one table to another. We were given a long lesson on why we should not do it without her permission. Fair enough, it was our fault, but that she should give us a long "lecture" was too much. we sat back with a dull feeling and most of all wanted to go again ..

Awesome, friendly service. All food very tasty: soups, sandwiches, pastas. Spacious inside and great terrace with a view. Highly recommend.

Best bunch of waiters to be stuck with when Tram 28 breaks down. Bob Marley forever.

Almost perfect. First off the location is amazing, with great views over Lisbon. The service is great, and price is reasonable considering the quality. I had beef croquettes which were absolutely wonderful, way better than anything I’ve had while travelling through Spain. To be fair, one piece of criticism I would give is that my mojito was a bit sub-par. That being said, this was more than made up for by the rest of my experience:)

Fantastic view with fantastic staff! Went there everyday when I was at Lisbon. Just for the view alone it's worth it. Usually, these places are overpriced with subpar food, but this actually surprised me. Food was great and was reasonably priced. Would recommend and would definitely visit again when I next visit Lisbon
