My recent stay at Corinthia Lisbon with quite disappointing. From the very beginning, it was evident that the hotel lacked the basic competence to provide a satisfactory experience. The housekeeping service was horrible. Not only did they fail to attend to my room daily, but the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail was appalling for a 5 star hotel. It seems as though they didn’t care about their guests comfort at all. The check-in and check-out was slow, causing unnecessary delays. The staff’s lack of training and knowledge was apparent and they were ill-equipped to handle even the simplest of tasks. But perhaps the most distressing incident was our visit to the pool and spa area. The receptionist’s unprofessional behavior left us feeling unwelcome. Without any merit, she questioned whether we were guests at the hotel in a condescending manner. When we confirmed we were guests, she proceeded to ask for our room number, displaying a complete lack of understanding of basic hospitality etiquette. Her incompetence was evident, as any knowledge staff member would have politely asked for our name to cross check the reservation. I would strongly advise potential guests to consider other accommodations until this hotel addresses these fundamental issues and improves their service. My one star rating reflects the gravity of these disappointments, and I will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

Best 5 star hotel I've stayed at so far! Stayed at the 21st floor and the view was gorgeous! Staff all know english and were accommodating with our business group. Very up to date and clean with rooms and technology. There's a restaurant inside and they serve the best👌. Staff escorted us to where the dining area and had people help us get taxis to our destination.

Nice 5star hotel with good service in line with Corintihia group. The location is a bit away from the city center but still easy to get to. Spa and Pool facilities exist. The breakfast is nice and plenty of choice.

Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. Really friendly and attentive staff who make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful room and the bed is SO comfy. The water therapy experience in the spa was really relaxing after a long day of walking and worth doing too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Thank you for an amazing stay in Lisbon.

The elevator was a little tricky to figure out. The room was beautiful but I knew it would be when I walked into the lobby and saw the gorgeous fresh flower arrangements. We spent 10 days in Portugal and this hotel had the best breakfast I have ever experienced.

Would like to understand where is guests can eat and drink in the hotel? Today, 21.09.2021,couldn't get any food and hardly got 2 drinks at the hotel bar. Restaurant is closed. Administration girl said there is not table's available without a reservation (there was many free tables). We arrived afternoon late and haven't had any possibility to make a reservation. Waiting two and half hours at bar, staying, in the end went back to the room without dinner. Never had something like that before nowhere. Not any respect for the guests. Not excuses. Really shame, because the rest is absolutely fine in the hotel.

Great feeling walking through the front doors! My fiancé and I arrived tired and jet lagged. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. They did a couple of things by surprise us to celebrate our engagement. 👍 First Class staff and hotel and highly recommended.

Upscale hotel, rooms were comfy and clean, elevator system takes some getting used too. Breakfast buffet was one of the best. But very Americanized. Bed was comfortable. Staff was welcoming. Had some minor issues with room service, not bringing something they said they would. housekeeping does not follow “do not disturb” I don’t require maid service everyday. But they would still come in without knocking. it made me feel a bit uneasy. Especially the last day when I was about to check out. Spa service was ok. Ladies weren’t very helpful. And the massage beds were very uncomfortable. You have to pay 40 euros to use the thermal circuit (jacuzzi, steam, sauna) for an hour. Even if you’re a hotel guest and even with a service. Which felt rushed.

Came to the hotel for the Spa Services and was very disappointed with what they believe 5 stars is. Paid for the full Spa Experience/Luxury Package and wasn't even offered any water/tea when the services were done. There was no explanation of what type of treatment or even what products were being used for the facial, the sauna was not hot, there was no staff around, and one of the sensory showers was not working. Way overpriced for a very mediocore services and experience.

We have been absolutely delighted by our stay there in the Executive Junior Suite. Everything was so perfectly arranged in the decoration and services +++. The staff was very helpful and reactive. The breakfast was by far the best breakfast we ever had : freshly cooked amazing egg toasts and omelets, fresh fruits and juices, excellent pastries and bread, many options for fish-lovers, meat-lovers and vegetarians too. I tried the SPA for a face treatment and the quality was really good. The only 2 things we have been disappointed with was the jacuzzi not available due to the COVID, and the restaurants. There were only 2 restaurants open and in both of them the music was extremely loud. It's a good atmosphere to take a drink with friends, but not to relax with your lover after a long hot day.

Wonderful hotel! Lobby decorated very nicely for Christmas!! Gym and pool are great. Rooms very nice. Three restaurants in the hotel (had tasty meals at Soul Garden and Olivae). Highly recommend!

I just came for the water circuit at the spa. Quite awful. No actual heat anywhere, the steam room is lukewarm. The spa design is depressing. The showers in the changing rooms have basically transparent glass between them so you have no privacy from others. All in all, disappointing.

I recently enjoyed with my husband a delightful three-night stay at the Corinthia Hotel in Lisbon. The experience was elevated by the sumptuous breakfast provided each morning. The Mediterranean cuisine at their restaurant was a highlight, and the delicious octopus risotto stood out as a culinary masterpiece. The hotel's ambiance, combined with attentive service, made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for those seeking a luxurious and gastronomically pleasing retreat in Lisbon.

I travel 18 days per month, so i stay in hotels around the World. This hotel has not only the best breakfast, but also the VERY BEST STAFF! Everyone that simply looked at me had a smile. They are polite and super helpful. Congratulations! 3minutes walk from the subway Blue line that takes you straight to downtown in 7minutes. Cozy bed, very very clean hotel. Mid afternoon, house keeping knocked to ask if I wanted chocolates, more towels or water. If this is not a top service! Loved it.

This is a fabulous business hotel in a convenient, non-touristy part of Lisbon. It is a short 7-stop metro ride to the heart of the city. The metro stop is just around the corner, and the hotel even operates an hourly shuttle to the center. Amenities include a full service gym, a beautiful indoor pool, and a fabulous breakfast that is included. Very highly recommended!

I highly recommend this hotel for its super friendly stay and prime location. The breakfast buffet in the morning is world-class, even better than the all-inclusive 5-star resorts I’ve stayed at in Mexico. The spa is also amazing, featuring a cold plunge, hot tub, steam, and sauna. I highly recommend it.

I have literally to say one of the best hotels that I have been. The room are so clean, the staff are professional and simply amazing. The food is perfect and everything in this hotel makes you want to come back. You clearly are above your hospitality promise, well done 🥰

An excellent stay at Corinthia Lisbon: roses, orchids everywhere, chocolates, breathtaking view from the suite and at the 24th floor, happy people. A big hotel but doesn't feel busy. The management and the team of the Sky Lounge are doing a great job. Actually everyone is kind, helpful and smiling. Breakfast is of top quality and good variety, beds (Portuguese) very comfortable, a nice swimming pool area. Location is outside the old center but quite central, a complimentary transfer on hourly basis provided. Highly recommended.

Booked a suite for a birthday getaway - and the Corinthia Lisbon delivered on every front. The hotel was busy this week - which meant I received a delightful surprise at check-in. And there were thoughtful little touches whenever I came back in the suite throughout my stay. So much so - that I even felt compelled to ring up their guest services during the stay to thank them for being such a thoughtful team. The suite I was in had an incredible bathtub view of Lisbon - perfect with a glass of wine. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience - you really made my week.

We have just returned from a 4 night wonderful stay at the Corinthia. The rooms are lovely (we stayed in a King Deluxe), cocktails in the Soul Garden are delicious, and the food in Erva is superb. A luxury hotel that is incredibly family friendly, my 6yr old daughter thoroughly enjoyed our morning visits to the pool, as well as collecting her passport stamps (given to her by the reception team) from each area and service in the hotel. The room service options for children were tasty with some good healthy options too. My only criticism would be signage and communication regarding the continental breakfast in the spa area. On our second morning at the pool we were approached by a member of staff from the spa advising that the breakfast was not complimentary (although she would not charge us that day) and that they had received complaints that the food had been eaten from spa members. The staff member was clearly annoyed and quite accusatory. I apologised and informed her that I had made a point to enquire about the breakfast the day before when her colleague had blatantly misinformed us. Clearly a miscommunication but I would have thought it obvious that our family were not spa members given that we are English and wearing the hotel bath robes, I’m not sure why she told us the breakfast was complimentary? Other hotel guests had assumed the same as us and eaten the food too but we were singled out which was a little embarrassing. Needless to say we did not return to the pool for the rest of the trip. Other than that, a fabulous stay in Lisbon.

When in Lisbon this is the place to stay. Our room was fabulous. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay and it was immaculate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A modern hotel with many amenities. They provide shuttle to the old town.

  • 5/5 Maryam S. 4 months ago on Google
Hotel was very accommodating and attentive to our needs travelling as a family of four (inc. 6month old baby). Although a little far out from main attractions, the shuttle bus every 30mins going to the central location of Lisbon was a huge bonus! We enjoyed our stay, and felt the staff here made a genuine effort to familiarize themselves with all their guests. We were not just people walking in and out of the hotel. The Spa facilities were amazing - my husband definitely enjoyed the thermal circuit experience and would highly recommend. Breakfast was also a treat. Fresh egg station and waffle station was my son's favorite. Presentation and refills were paid great attention to.

So glad we picked this hotel while visiting Lisbon. Location is not in the city center but hotel has shuttle to/from there every 30 minute and the shuttle is nice. After 6pm you can use Uber which is pretty cheap or ride the metro. There are many places to eat in walking distance. Especially the pizza place next door, it’s delicious. Hotel is beautiful. Room service everyday at your requested time, with complementary water and chocolate. We didn’t use spa or swimming pool. But we ate at the soul garden one night since it closes the latest, and it’s delicious. Overall it’s great and I would stay here again if coming back.

My stay at the Corinthia Lisbon was nothing short of excellent! During my time at the hotel, I not only enjoyed the comforts of their well-appointed rooms but also had the privilege of performing multiple times with my string quartet at private events hosted at this prestigious venue. One standout feature that I truly appreciated was the breakfast. The variety and quality of the breakfast offerings were exceptional, setting a perfect tone for the day ahead. Additionally, the level of comfort provided by the beds made for a restful and rejuvenating stay. The Corinthia Lisbon undoubtedly stands as a remarkable choice for both accommodation and hosting special events. It combines luxurious comfort, excellent dining, and a welcoming atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on its guests. It's a hotel that I highly recommend for travelers and event organizers alike.

The breakfast alone is worth booking a stay. We ate at two of the three restaurants in the hotel and had excellent meals. The hotel rooms have windows that open up which was nice and the outside grounds have seating.

Most excellent hotel. Stayed in many hotels, and this is by far one of the best. Staff are extremely helpful. Diago, on reception, was especially helpful and, after a long day, much appreciated.

Excellent hotel with incredibly attentive staff. We especially loved the lavish breakfasts with live piano (do not miss out!!) and the spa experience. The only downside of the hotel is that it is not in a very central location, but they do have an excellent shuttle that runs every 30 min throughout the day.

Hotel staff is nice, service is fast, food is really great. However room size is a bit smaller. A slightly bigger room would have given 5 stars. For breakfast - live station can be a bit faster

Beautiful room. Very comfortable and spacious bed. But I like the complimentary water to be in the mini fridge. Not at room temperature. So I put the bottle in the fridge and upon check out, reception said I drank one of their bottles from the mini fridge. I explained that was the complimentary bottle I put in there to keep cold. It was no problem as he did not charge the credit card for the water.

We are world travelers and agreed that the Corinthia Lisbon is one of the finest hotels we've ever experienced. The staff is uniformly dedicated to cheerful, professional and courteous service. The restaurants are each top-notch, delicious and fun! The room is immaculately maintained and the bed provided a heavenly night's sleep. The location is ideal for access to the metro. Lucky is the traveler who chooses the Corinthia Lisbon!

Wonderful hotel, staff very kind and always at your service, tasty breakfast with many choices of quality food. Room and bathroom excellent. The Spa offers many treatments in relaxing area. Super location, two minutes from metro that takes you where ever you want. During 5 days not one single problem or issue, we had the best impression. Prices in line with its 5* and quality.

We booked this hotel through a price promotion, despite being in a not-so-convenient location for downtown Lisbon. The property is very luxurious and the service seems up to par even if it is just an illusion. Upon our arrival we were informed that the computer system was not working so we were given our room and set off. the entrance to the room was rather sorry as the room was already occupied by a lady who was sleeping and that we scared. This incident, while unfortunate, earned us an upgrade to a mini suite, with apologies from the front desk. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The cleaning and refill service however had very fluctuating standards and sometimes it was necessary to call the reception to complete the inadequate service. The climax instead comes when my partner decided to use the SPA for a massage. The employee in addition to not having introduced any environment as she should, she also made some unsolicited humor, teasing her, a client willing to pay 160 € for a massage. obviously we gave up the service and reported what happened to the manager. A deplorable event. However, there are many positive sides, starting with the beautiful restaurants, which we did not use as they were quite expensive, a piano bar and high-tech elevators.

It's the sort of hotel where you can stay just in the hotel and have a great time. Gym, pool, spa, and bar are all great. My partner recommends the deep massage at the spa! The only negatives was the mini bar in the room was very warm and trying to get a hold of some coffee at the breakfast!

The people who work here are super nice but the food and hotel itself are not 5 stars… the wine in the room is terrible - come on team.. we’re not in Portugal to have wine the tastes like the 99 cent store. Again more friendly staff… the hotel should spend a little more making the breakfast and in room food and drink experience up to par with their competition

Placed at this hotel for work and stayed several times. Stunning hotel and extremely comfortable. Location wouldn't be my choice but that's not relevant as my visits are work related. Staff couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. Great relaxed bar off the lobby. Rooms beautifully appointed and feel very luxurious. Always enjoy my stay.

The Corinthia hotel - Lisbon is a brilliant beautiful oasis of relaxation and calm, is elegant, refined and gorgeous. Our nights stay in February was simply fantastic and we can't wait to return. Every single staff member welcomed us warmly and spoiled us. From the reservations, Diniz, and the front office team have been impeccable and very professional . Without exception every staff member was highly attentive and approachable. A Happy staff reflects brightly on excellent management, so thank you all!! The check- in was efficient and friendly, and we had an upgrade, we were truly grateful. The rooms are very clean, beautiful. Comfy beds and lovely amenities. The breakfast was gorgeous, with excellent choice of buffet breakfast. A really 5* experience!!

Stayed here for a work trip and location is not too bad, 10 minutes from the airport by Taxi - need to travel a little to get to the seafront but manageable by train (when not on strike!). Room was as I expected for a 5* hotel, cosy, Wi-Fi was good! Although the shower went cold every 20 seconds for about 5 seconds which as you can imagine is a bit of a shock first thing! Didn’t have a chance to use the gym and pool facilities but will look to on my return

Regrettably, my experience at this hotel is not quite as good as some of the other reviews. I have found the service, especially reception to be inefficient. We arrived at the hotel to be told our room was not ready for occupation. Other guests who arrived at the same time as us and subsequently over the next 2 hours + checked in with no issues. Why could we not have been allocated another room, if ours was not ready at the time. I just felt there was a lack of guest care and not good for 5 star hotel. We were eventually allocated another room, some 3+ hours later.

We loved this hotel. It is located in the commercial district of Lisbon and from the outside is pretty much a concrete block. Inside is a whole different world. It is quiet, peaceful and offers plenty of places to just sit and people watch. The staff are helpful and welcoming. Our room was pretty much a standard hotel room. I wish there had been a separate shower. We oldies are not as agile as we once were. The breakfast area was spectacular with seating inside and outside. A huge selection of pretty much anything you can think of is available. Excellent breakfast. If we ever get to return to Lisbon, this would be our hotel choice.

First time to visit Portugal and Corinthia Hotel with it's 5🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐ambience, great breakfast buffet, impressive customer service of staff - the doormen treats you like a royalty ,🥰especially Ms. Carolina T. Stayed for my wife's 40 birthday, and for the first time after Covid. Seems like they had upgraded the rooms, and we were very pleased with our room. The executive lounge is no longer available, but the new restaurants were very nice. Service was excellent, including room service, cleaning, and lobby! Location is not the best, but living in the tourist districts can often be noisy and unpleasant. Short walk to subway, and very easily accessible by car.

Pretty good hotel overall with a couple of negatives: -To us the (very nice) pool you need to have a swimming cap which they make you buy if you don’t have one -lifts are incredibly slow -No bath in the standard rooms. -Breakfast starts at 7 which seems quite late for a business hotel, I had an early flight so had to go hungry. - No curtains in the room??? I just had a flimsy transparent cloth so could see the outside lights and planes landing all night. The pool and breakfast were great though, and the beds were comfy.

We had a wonderful stay here! This has probably been one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Quiet, and professional; friendly and helpful staff; super confortable beds and sunny room. Close to the train and bus station. Great breakfast selection, accompanied by live piano music. Will definitely look for the other Corinthia hotels whenever I will travel.

Thank you to the staff for a very nice stay. 👏

This hotel was absolutely amazing and is a must stay if you come to Lisbon. We came here mainly for the spa and were more than impressed with everything else. We found the staff all to be very friendly and welcoming. We mainly wanted to use the hydrotherapy circuits which was €88 for two hours per couple. While we thought this was pricey at first given we were paying for the hotel, it was totally worth it! They limit the capacity to 10 ppl max so the ambiance felt very relaxing. There was so many things to alternate among (sauna, steam room, cold plunge, hot tub, hydrotherapy pool, etc.) so we never got bored and I wish we could’ve stayed all day. We also checked out the pool which was nice but difficult to swim laps in, and we went out to the sun deck to lounge for a bit. Breakfast was also perhaps one of the best I’ve had in my life. They have sparkling wine, macarons, and all types of different pastries. Best part was the live pianist — we spent over an hour at breakfast just to listen to him play because it was so relaxing. My partner and I plan to come back every time we do our annual Portugal getaway now. Amazing hotel for a relaxing couples getaway and also good value for money!

My partner booked this spa experience as a birthday surprise. It was a deluxe, high-end experience from start to finish. The valentines couples package was perfectly suited for a romantic moment. The massage and facial were expertly done, and we appreciated that the staff take the time to inquire about medical issues and problems areas prior to the treatment. Additionally, you are able to select the body oils and facial products that smell best with your body chemistry, so no worries about not liking how you smell the rest of the day.

The Corinthia Lisbon Hotel is an exceptional choice for anyone visiting Lisbon. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a team of incredibly attentive and friendly staff. The level of service provided throughout my stay was truly outstanding. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and exudes elegance in every corner. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and meticulously clean. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring a luxurious experience. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any request I had, making me feel like a valued guest. I highly recommend the Corinthia Lisbon Hotel for its wonderful service, fantastic staff, and overall exceptional experience.

Impeccable interiors, and great service despite huge volume. The place operates like a well-oiled machine. There are multiple places to grab a drink and snack so technically you don't even need to leave the hotel if you don't want to. I'd come back. Top tip: If you don't have a massive sweet tooth, consider if breakfast is the right choice for you. Yes, there are some good options if you don't eat sweet stuff but this is for sure the hotel's specialty.
