We
ate

One

surpassed
all
the
others.
Ritalinos
is
more
than
the

meal
you'll
have

Portugal,
it's

The
food?
Amazing.
The

In
our
case,
roast
octopus,
seared
tuna
steak,
even
the
bread
(infused
with
turmeric)!
The
chili
dusted
chocolate
truffles
he
gave
us.
And
the
portions?
Prepare
to
be
wowed,
and
show
up
hungry.
And
when
you
think
it
can't
get
any
better,
you
realize
the
incredible
meal
you
just
savored
is
just
a
fraction
of
what
you
just
experienced.
We've
never
met
a
restauranteur
quite
like
Luis.
He
literally
grew
up
in
this
restaurant.
When
you
spend
your
entire
life
in
the
restaurant
business
like
him,
it's
transformative.
How
does
a
restauranteur
go
from
a
perfect
stranger
to
a
friend
over
a
single
dining
experience?
Luis
treats
everyone
like
family,
but
not
overbearingly--rather,
with
zero
pressure.
He
makes
it
so
easy
to
just
relax
and
enjoy.
He
is
clearly
passionate
about
being
the
best
host
and
restauranteur
that
he
can
be.
He
sources
the
best
ingredients,
creates
the
best
dishes,
stocks
the
best
wines,
breads,
pastries,
chocolates--you
get
the
idea.
Everything
is
the
best.
So
what
separates
Luis
from
EVERYONE
else
in
the
industry?
He
refuses
to
pass
the
cost
to
his
customers.
He
will
absorb
costs
himself
to
ENSURE
you
have
the
best
possible
dining
experience,
no
matter
your
budget.
In
an
often
deceptive
restaurant
landscape
filled
with
tourist
traps
alluring
you
solely
for
the
contents
of
your
wallet,
delivering
the
minimum,
Ritalinos
stands
out
as
the
polar
opposite.
It
is
so
far
above
the
status

it
inspires
hope.
I
would
travel
5,679
miles
back
to
Lisbon,
just
to
dine
at
Ritalinos,
one
