Lovely river beach with everything you want! Lifeguard, toilets, boat hire... loads of shade with a choice of sand or grass... ample parking... great view of the nearby castle and a great value cafe/restaurant... Enjoy!

A small yet well mantained and structured river beach. There is a main area with sand and shades for rent. In the back part there are some areas with grass and some trees that provide some shades. The bath area is delimited with ropes. There is a bar and restaurant next to the beach with outer spaces. There are also some little boats to rent. In terms of parking space there is plenty of space next to the beach and a big park in the start of the main street. You can also walk the wood trail that starts exactly in the beach and goes up to Belver bridge. It's almost 2km for each side. So it has all the conditions to spend a good day.

Really beautiful place, worth a visit. The boardwalk next to the Tagus River is a perfect place for a walk. The swings above the river are a great touristic picture moment.

Very nice and pleasant beach, only downside is the water is not super clean, it’s a river after all, but it’s super nice and in the summer it gets very hot outside in this area. 10/10!

Great spot for sun and river bathing: small and not too busy when we were there (2 days either side of the schools breaking up), but nice sandy, life-guarded, family-friendly beach with a good bar/cafe/restaurant (we had an excellent lunch), clean toilets and good parking. It did get busier later afternoon, but there's ample parking. And a stunning view of the impressive castle. The boardwalk is a lovely route for a walk too, before cooling off in the water. We returned it was so good.

Very nice spot with a decent river beach and nice views to the Belver Castle. From here you can go through many hiking trails along the river shores.

One of the better river beaches on the river Tejo. Stunning views of the river and Belver castle. There's a new walkway that goes all the way back to the bridge at Belver roughly 3.5km. Located on the beach are toilets for bathers in the summer months. A Cafe and restaurant are also located by the beach with a wide variety of food and snacks. A definite must if your looking for a good sunbathing/swimming spot or if you just want to walk along the mountain and enjoy the views.

Not very crowded and the bar service was OK with good food. The camping is free if you request a permit in city hall and you get decent bathrooms and free electricity. A good stop point in a journey. Also the river boats gets you up and down in great views. You also have good rental river boats and stuff to go on your own to discover the river sides.

We had lots of fun at the Riverside. The sandy beaches were very clean and lots of amenities at very reasonable prices. We spent the whole day here as there was lots to do to keep my little one and myself occupied. Very beautiful walking area in the most beautiful countryside. See you again next summer!

Very good, free showers, free filtered water, free camping and free outlets, highly recommend it for who needs a time away from the city. There was also a very nice barbecue area and a good restaurant.

One of the most beautiful spots in this region of portugal. Great beach where you can get into the river, and even camping if you've a permit of the local government.

This small river beach located just south of the Belver Castle is well worth the time. With a beautiful view of the Castle and the surronding olive trees and vegetation, the beach is well equipped with a bar/restaurant and a small hotel.

Cool river beach with the view of Castelo de Belver . Nice clean sand, restaurant and bar, showers, bathrooms, and some random watercraft activities. Marked swimming areas. Plenty of parking.

Very nice this past weekend. The whole area is clean and the people were very respectful. No ultraloud music and great place for everyone to enjoy including families. The water was good too.

Nice cozy place. A bit dusty. Tree shadow spots. River beach, well defined, and safe. Some water activities available, such as pedal boat or padle. Gone for the walking trail, which is a bit disappointing due to his extension.

It's a very spacious place with a good amount of shadow. The water for some might be a little bit cold. There are a few activities to do like canoeing. They also have a space if you would like to grill / BQQ your lunch. There is also a coffee shop /restaurant in the area. Parking space might be a little bit tricky depending on the hours of arrival so keep that in mind. Overall a very pleasant place to spend an evening.
