I'm an extremely clean and hygienic person so I noticed it when my hands were marked with what looked like feces just after entering this building, using the stairwell, and then ringing the doorbell to this place. Although I stood at the door for 30 minutes and rang the doorbell continuously, no one answered it as they stood on the other side audibly moving around. That's a serious problem when you've made a reservation and provided you're credit card information to them like I did for a private room to stay. I promptly cancelled my reservation as a result of their failure to answer the door. I honestly cannot say if this is a legitimate establishment or not, however it is clear that it has problems and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

absolutely disgusting place. I tried politely cancel reservation after I saw the place but owner was super rude and I payed 80% of whole amount (6 nights). Rooms are looking completely different from the ones on Booking. Place is located in destroyed building with old stinky rooms woth broken walls and terrible windows with fog and dirty. Toilet shower looks like the one from sixties but 58 years later. Be careful and DO NOT BOOK any of the rooms there!

The shower is leaking. Electricity repeatedly turning off. The kitchen has exactly one working hotplate and that is tiny. You hear every step people in neighboring rooms take. The beds are equipped with rough blankets totally inadequate for the inside cold in winter here. (In Lisbon, in winter it gets really chilly inside the houses because most of them have no heating, even though outside it can have like 15 degrees Celsius.) Really, the only good thing one can say about this place is that the receptionist is a very friendly guy.

1/ I booked a double bedroom with a private bathroom. When I arrived, they told me this room is not available... they could only give me a double room without private bathroom. (With a cheaper rate hopefully). Even tough I needed this private bathroom for personal reasons, I had no choice but accept their proposition (it was late at night, I had no idea where else to go...) 2/ the next morning, I left my backpack to the receptionist. When I arrived to my next destination, I figured out 50€ where missing from my savings (which were hidden in a back pocket of my bag) !! Ok, I know I should not have left cash in my backpack, but it may happen. Of course, when I called them to ask them what happened, they told me they never heard of that kind of things, and no one else than they are allowed to enter the locker room. Don’t book this hotel !!

It was a good place to crash for a night...maybe it would have been ok even for more nights. The bed was very comfy and the room and bathroom were very clean and so was the linen. The staff was great, very nice and willing to help. There were only two little things I didn't like and those would be the size of the room and the fact that there were ants on one side of the room.

Pros - quite cheap, 10 min walk to the metro which is then 4 quick stops away from city centre. Cons - you literally only pay for the bed. The property is older than world war 1. The windows are rotting away and offer no sound protection from an extremely busy and loud street. The hostel itself is also very loud with very thin walls so you can hear even the quiet chatter from the room next to you. People ringing the doorbell several times through the night doesn't help. Did not feel safe leaving my belongings in the room. There's also no signs saying it's a hostel - finding it was quite hard considering it's just an old house with a A4 piece of paper inside saying the hostel is upstairs.

Sehr gute Lage und guenstig. Schlechte Einrichtung, jedoch grosses Potential. Der Mitarbeiter Ahsan ist extrem freundlich und hilft bei jeglichen Fragen. I have stayed there two days. The location is good and the hotel/hostel cheap. The furniture and the infrastructure is weak, but has high potential. The staff (one of them called Ahsan) is extremely friendly and was helpful with all kind of questions. He was reachable all the time and tried to do everything to make the stay comfortable for you! If I book this place again, I just would go because of the friendly staff.

This place is a DUMP . The room smelled like PISS . It was extremely dirty with HAIR on STAINED bedsheets which clearly were not changed. It is in a dodgy building that seems to be crumbling. We didn't stay there and chose to go to a place in the centre which was cheaper and definitely better. I strongly recommend that nobody uses this place. It's a plain tourist trap, A SCAM actually.
