It is definitely NOT a guesthouse! It’s a hostel and not a very good one. The announcement in booking is a scam, rooms do not look like the pictures. Super uncomfortable and definitely not clean. There are only 3 toilets in total (for around 40 people), of course Hot water is not enough for everyone. The kitchen is poorly equipped, nothing else than a microwave (as filthy as one can get), DIRTY, untidy and full of broken equipment. The staff are not helpful at all, communication is very challenging since they are not completely fluent in English nor in Portuguese. They treat you as they are bothered by your questions. Location is not ideal. Honestly, nothing positive to say about my stay. I do not recommended at all. Please note that all the people who left a positive comment have only ever written one review, not trust worthy.

Pic on booking are made perfect, but once you arrive at the place, you realise that is completely different. Room are very small but clean. Toilet(2) are sharing for 6 room. But I have to clarify that are always clean. Is good for stay 1 night, but not more. Bed are old and not really comfortable. That is quite bad considering backpackers that are walked through the city and are tired and want just a normal bed to sleep well. Check properly if u can find something better. Otherwise for 1 night is fine.

Very very small rooms, in which it is difficult to stand properly due to the very low ceiling. Impossible to stand in the bathroom unless you are 1.30 m tall. Quite embarrassing. Cold water in the shower. The stuff is very helpful. I give 2 stars only because the location is great and because the prices are super competitive in a city where accommodations have crazy prices.

Terrible experience! The mix dorm for 4 people was 9 square meters, we couldn’t even put our luggages inside it! There is no breakfast option as written on the description. There are only 3 bathrooms for all the guests (probably around 25/30 in total capacity). And two of them were so small I couldn’t even stand straight inside and dirty. The staff speak bad English, one of them was cutting his nails at the reception and another one was sleeping on a couch in the common room during the morning. I think is not even legal to cram so many people in such a small place! And also super loud position Not recommended at all

Do not book this accommodation it is a scam! We booked through Booking and when we arrived at the hostel they had our name written down in a notebook but told us they had no room, so he forced us to cancel the accommodation ourselves and when we asked for an alternative place to stay everything was so expensive that they sent us to a false address (when we looked for the address of the hostel they had given us it was in Taiwan). We have not been able to post a review on Booking because he forced us to cancel it so that he would not be charged. We were not even allowed to use the bathroom. The worst experience I have ever had in a hostel.

Frechheit! Ich hätte dem Hostel 2-Sterne gegeben, weil es auch 2 Sterne verdient hat, aber ich bin die Rezessionen mal durchgegangen und habe gemerkt, dass ein sehr hoher Anteil der 5-Sterne Bewertungen von Menschen mit südasiatisch/muslimischen klingenden Namen kommt. Sehr wenig von welchen mit europäisch klingenden Namen. Der Besitzer des Hostels ist auch Südasiate. Wenn man 1 und 1 zusammenzählt, kann man sich denken, woher die hohen Bewertungen kommen. Nichtsdestotrotz, das sind keine Vorwürfe, sondern nur meine nichtstatistischen Beobachtungen. Es ergibt sich ein Muster unter den Bewertungen mit hohen Sternen und wenn es das ist, was ich denke, dass es ist, dann ist das Ganze einfach Betrug. Zu meinem Aufenthalt und warum ich dem Hostel 2 Sterne geben würde: Mein Zimmer war direkt neben der Rezeption, sodass man die ganze Zeit Gespräche gehört hat. Das Zimmer war meeeega eng. Man hatte kaum Platz sich zu bewegen. Nachts war es mega Lust, man konnte kaum schlafen. Fenster blieben auch die ganze Zeit auf, weil sie keine Klimaanlage anhatten, also auch nachts. Das Bett hat bei der kleinsten Bewegung geknurrt. Man konnte nach 2 Uhr nachts nicht mehr ins Hostel reinkommen, “for security reasons”. Und das allerschlimmste, sie hatten keine festgeschriebene Regeln und haben sich aufgeregt, wenn man irgendwas gemacht hat, was denen nicht gepasst. Zudem wussten die Mitarbeiter auch sehr wenig vom Respekt der Privatsphäre. Sie sind in das Zimmer reinspaziert ohne einem Bescheid zu geben. Einfach Frechheit! Lasst euch nicht von den Bewertungen täuschen. Es deutet einiges daraufhin, dass ein guter Teil davon fake sind. EDIT as an answer to the reply: Yeah, sure, I will publicly give you my number here on Google. Instead of trying to confront your clients or fake reviews, change something about all the critics that have been made by several others. Start by respecting the the private sphere of the guests and not trying to delete or fake reviews that make the hostel look better than it is.

Cute place, friendly owners. I appreciated the free towel and welcome chocolate. Unfortunately, the mattress is incredibly thin and uncomfortable. They didn't have extra blankets to help alleviate the problem. Maybe other rooms are better quality, but I'm not holding my breath. The rest is ok and expected for the price: lockers are somewhat narrow and the walls are thin so there is noise. WC's are ok, but 3 total is low (especially when occupied by people showering). The upstairs ones are cramped due to the sloped roof. Living room has a small balcony with good views of trams and busses passing by.

😀Die Lage des Hostels ist wirklich top! Super Anschluss an Bus und Bahn und auch zu Fuß ist alles gut erreichbar. Ein großer Supermarkt und gute Bäcker sind direkt um die Ecke. Auch die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und erkunden sich nach dem Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste. 😞Die Zimmer sind wirklich extrem klein..ich (1,68m) konnte fast nirgends stehen, genauso im Bad. Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig und ohne Ohrstöpsel kann man kaum schlafen..auch die Fenster konnte man nicht abdunkeln und morgens war es dementsprechend sehr hell. Auf unseren Betten waren viele Flecken. Wäsche waschen kann man erst am 17 Uhr..dementsprechend ist auf die eine Waschmaschine dann ein großer Ansturm. Kochen kann man in der Gemeinschaftsküche zwischen 18 Uhr und 21 Uhr nicht, denn dann wollen die Gastgeber selber dort für sich kochen.

I booked (and payed) a room through hotels.com that was already rented out. It seems like overbooking is just routine for them. For what I could see, the place, besides the unfortunate location, looks also pretty run-down and ugly.

Comparing with the price it was good place. The staffs were really friendly. The room, kitchen and bathroom were really clean. They also prepared a light breakfast.

So just look at the responses from the owner on these Google reviews... says it all. All the good reviews are obviously fake. No-one would choose to stay here. Do not be conned by this place - spend a little bit more and sleep in peace. I wish I did.

Today i have achieved a bad experience about this room. It’s Really bad cause we could not take breath properly also someone cooking outside of the room and we are feelings bad. now, So, i think it’s not Hotel it’s a private room, i would recommended someone don’t come to the hotel and all of the booking site should be band it. Now, it’s night 9 pm. We are gonna to leave. 😔

The host is very cheerful with everybody here. He made us feel as if we were home, available at any time it was a pleasure from start to the end. The place is cosy, very welcoming and there is daily cleaning, of course we couldn’t recommend more for the travelers who are looking for somewhere to stay!

Very nice hotel very convenient, Staff are very friendly and the room is beautifully decorated, great location, easy to move around. The main sights and the shopping area is in walking distance. The Tram ,Bus and Combo stops in front of the Hotel which allows easy travel through the Lisbon.Several restaurants are close bay and makes it the perfect Hotel for a trip to Lisbon. Good breakfast and clean rooms makes a relaxing stay.

Easy to go Places as it is in front of calvario station : Rossio station ( bus 760/732) - leads to Sintra, Carcais and etc Plaza de commercio ( bus 760/732) *check the Moovit apps for better understanding of the route* well if you have extra cash you can book Uber too for food and transportation E15 will get you to Belem tower, 25 de abril and it nearby attraction easily clean room and toilet Friendly staff which will also guide you to any place if you have any confusion.

I wouldn’t recommend. I took the time to go upstairs to ask where I can park the car (in booking.com the location mentions free parking lots right in front) The guy at the reception SHOWED us the lots right behind the taxis because apparently ppl staying at the guesthouse can park there. We got a ticket and he said to the police we misunderstood what he said.

Really Not good!! When WE arrived the bed was full with Hair. I guess they don't changed IT After we talked to the Guy from the reception ( He cleaned IT Just with a towel). Very discusting I would never stay there again 🤢🤢🤢

Poor organizing system. I was forced to switch a room which included a guy (i am religious) meanwhile no other rooms were available for me. The staff did not try to find solution.

Excellent guest house with excellent location closed to most facilities near by. The guest house is very clean & comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly rexeption staff. Above that manager Razu Ahmed shared all the necessary tips about Lisbon which made our 4 days trip memorable and efficient. He also made sure we have the comfort we need while staying as guests. I appreciate his excellent hospitality. We would love to visit again.

Its what you pay for. Cleanliness was good. However there is no store where you can store your luggage if you want to keep your luggage at the hostel for an hour or so if you check out early

I am from UK. We stayed recently in this Guest house with family. It was a great pleasure staying in that guest house. The staff are very friendly and the service we received was excellent. The price is very reasonable. The location is very close and easy to the main city centre. On the whole the entire holiday was tremendous. The guidance we received from their staff is unforgettable. Truely I recommend them to all travellers visiting Portugal and try once at least.

Everything about this hostel you see is a lie, all pics are misleading and in person this hostel is a very small, extremely hot and extremely dirty hostel. Your aren’t allowed to use the washing machine, like it says on the booking, and the parking isn’t there. The staff is rude, and every other negative review is accurate. It’s at least cheap, but you’ll be happier at a different place… it’s not worth a few bucks.

Leider hat uns das Hostel sehr enttäuscht. Wir standen gerade ein paar Sekunden im Doppelzimmer, als wir uns auch wieder entschieden zu gehen. Lasst euch nicht täuschen von den Bildern auf der Website vom Hostel!!! Die müssen stark bearbeitet worden sein. Das Zimmer war auf dem Dachboden und gefühlt eine Abstellkammer mit Bett drinnen. Mein Freund konnte nicht mal stehen (1,80m). Das Bett voller Haaren und Flecken. Die Tapete war teilweise schon abgerollt von der Wand. Das einzige Fenster im Zimmer, war so groß wie ein Buch. Lesen können hättest du aber auch nicht, weil der reingequetschte Schrank vor dem Fenster das Tageslicht verdeckte. Hinzu kommt, dass die Tür eine Holzplatte zum vorschieben war und man dementsprechend jeden Schritt auf dem Flur hören konnte. Lasst euch bloß nicht von den Bilder täuschen!!! Wir mussten uns am gleichen Abend ein neues Hostel suchen. Gebt lieber mehr Geld aus, um komfortabler zu schlafen. Wir waren schon in günstigeren Hostels, die deutlich sauberer und einladender waren. Keine Ahnung, wie die positiven Bewertungen zu stande kommen.
