Unbeatable location in Belem. Very nice place too. I only give 4 stars because of a few things, like luggage must be carried up a long but lovely flight of curving marble stairs to get to reception on the 1st floor. From there up, there is a lift. Nice large room, clean and comfortable. Pretty nice bathroom, but a bit small and didn't have some small things that would be nice, like towel bars or hooks, and there is no shelf in the shower. Everything goes on the floor. The shower didn't drain fast enough and semi-flooded the bathroom floor, which also had a slow drain. Easy things they could fix in a day. Good water pressure though and water gets hot very quickly. Good power access throughout the room as well. Very nice and helpful staff. It is staffed around the clock so no worries of getting locked out at night.

Well located small hotel in heart of Belem…we enjoyed our one night stay in a “city view” room with a lovely small balcony facing the avenue. The desk was friendly and helpful. There are two elevators and a quaint spiral staircase. Our room had high ceilings, a large bathroom with a bidet, and a good shower. The hotel was strangely undecorated with only a unique sculpture in the lobby. Room walls were bare and made room seem empty. However, we did not spend much time in hotel, rather walked to all the close by attractions and had wonderful time. The long lines at Pasteis de Belem next door died down after 7:30pm, so we scarfed treats and enjoyed our Lisbon experience.

Kein WLAN, Kein Frühstück, was soll ich dazu noch sagen und der Fernseher ist bestimmt älter als ich und ich bin fas 40 😩 und die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Aber sehr sauber.

From the outside, it looked, omg very old. When you enter the place, it's clean, nice and very attractive. Staff, very helpful and friendly. Recommended, price is good to. Close to all restaurants and shops. One bad thing that should be made, make a sofa in the entrance! People waiting can have a seat. The rest.... 9/10

Absolutely wonderful acommodation, super clean, spacious room, with a nice balcony over one of the prettiest streets in Belém. Next to 2 of the best places to have Pastéis de nata!!. I asked for a room with balcony and got an upgrade, I am very thankful to the friendly staff. It was a truly pleasant stay, obrigada

This hotel was very good for me, because I use electric Wheeler/scooter. I could drive my scooter straight to the second floor from backside of house and the hotel room was near scooterpark. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Near hotel was lots of cafes for breakfast and lots of interesting places for turists. We have nice three days there.

Un-cozy rooms, no garden, no nothing. Only friendly staff were the cleaning ladies. Too expensive. We won’t come back.

OVERPRICED. Staff were really disorganized and messed up our reservation. Although we made the booking in January, they ended up putting us in one of the worst rooms (old fashioned, ridiculously noisy, mouldy bathroom, etc). We figured out the confusion the next day, but they were initially reluctant to do anything about it. The electricity kept turning on and off because the building isn't designed to handle so many air cons. Good location, but somewhat noisy. The owners should seriously think about completing customer service training. They told friends who had also complained that they would not be welcome next year... A veces lo "barato" te sale caro.

Had a great stay at Pensao Setubalense! Basic, but very clean room, housekeeping was excellent. Reception desk staff were professional, friendly and always ready to go a extra mile for you! Location is the best in Lisbon: within the walking distance one can visit Jeronimos monastery, Praca de Imperio, Bellem tower, Monument of Discoveries, Maritime museum, Entomology museum, Planetarium, The National museum of Coaches, Botanical tropical park. Not to mention that you gonna live on the same street as the President of Portugal. Presidential palace is just up the street! Lots of lively small restaurants , cafes, stores on your street. We had a great time in Lisbon!

I honestly don’t understand the good reviews about this place besides the location. Paid 85€ per night for a super basic double room. Towels and sheets were old and rough, there was hair on the bed and the floor was dusty. The duvet didn’t have a cover and you could tell the blue pillowcases were old and dusty. The balcony outside was also dirty and there was a big vase/ashtray with cigarettes butts left there. Not a pretentious client here but there are some things that were below anyone’s standards of cleanliness and service.

Das Zimmer war wirklich geräumig. Sowas hätte ich an dem Standort nicht erwartet, vor allem auch nicht so günstig. Ich war schon mehrfach dort und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Pension. Die Reinigungskräfte halten sich an die Türschilder und die Zimmer werden gründlich gereinigt. Im Badezimmer sind immer frische Handtücher und bei der Ankunft sind dort kleine Seifen. Im Foyer hat es einen Getränkeautomaten, damit man an heißen Sommertagen keinen weiten Weg hat und auch Nachts um 03:00Uhr bei Durst noch was zu trinken bekommt. Seit einiger Zeit gibt es auch neue Aufzüge, wodurch auch das Treppensteigen wegfällt.
