😠 Very disappointed. Maybe I was unlucky, but I asked for a strong coffee, and no matter how long I brew it, it barely has any taste... I've put a picture so you can see how dry it is. People often mention coffee,

(Translated by Google) One of Lisbon's traditional shops is part of a set that still exists in the so-called old parish Avenidas Novas. Store where my great-grandmother used to buy all the coffee that was drunk at home and I've also lived there for a few years.

(Translated by Google) Wonderful roasting of own coffee. Immense tradition and quality. It is a shame that so many Portuguese are being considered with nexpresso and company instead of valuing the excellent tradition of coffee that this country has, of which this establishment is a perfect example. I know a foreigner who gets a lot of coffee here every time he goes through Lisbon. The variety of national bonbons, sweets, liquors and cookies difficult to find elsewhere is also remarkable.

(Translated by Google) An authentic trip to the past: the professional and delicate service (I record the detail of the green and black teas we bought, come packaged in the respective colors and with an indication of the time of infusion and a chocolate tablet was wrapped as a gift, where a bow was not missing ...); the comforting aroma of coffee, recalling memories of other times; the variety of products - teas, coffees, artisanal cookies, almonds and other delicacies, including chocolate tablets with original dedications. Did not know. I will return and strongly recommend a visit, now that Christmas is approaching.

(Translated by Google) Traditional shop for coffees, teas and everything that revolves around these ingredients. I was very well received, advised and attended to. Good thing that good trade in Lisbon still resists.

(Translated by Google) Old coffees, which have long lost their aroma and flavor. The traditional look of the store is very deceiving, I never buy coffee there again.

👍👍 One of the oldest cafe in Lisbon, founded in 1905. You can choose from huge variety of sweets, bakery and pastry right at the showcase, and they all are fresh. Interior is amazing - feels like you got into antique library. Minimum bill would be around 15€

👍👍 We are Americans visiting and really enjoyed the pastries and coffee here. As a warning to other travelers, most the staff doesn't speak English and there us a ticket system to order. When you walk in. #1 tickets are for sit down and #2 are for carryout. We didn't know this and waited in line and ha...

👍 Nice spot, cool interior, busy at all hours and with a great menu. Juices and smoothies are good, food is hit or miss. Eggs and burger weren’t perfect, but we tried other dishes and they were fine. Reservation is definitely recommended.
