We added this place to one of the places to visit for breakfast; overall, we’re happy except for the service that can be improved. We have ordered 2 americanos Toasted Rye bread with scrambled eggs Croissant with scrambled eggs Cinnamon Bun Total Price: 14.80€ We loved the ambiance and set up of the place, and the lady who's taking the order very friendly and very apologetic for the wait . Apart from the speed of the service that can be improved, can’t complain with the breakfast, though we’re not really a big fan of sour/acidic coffee - but the coffee intensity was good.

The coffee here is really good! I went here with my family after we arrived here in Lisbon. We got a flat white and a cappuccino, both of which had well steamed milk and good (albeit not special) beans. The ambiance was really good and it was surprisingly chilly inside compared to the 34C outside. I would definitely recommend this for a quick (or long) coffee stop on a hot day.

I found this place to be pretty incredible. Really cool atmosphere downstairs. Very legit coffee shop vibes. Coffee was delicious. The food options were great (think avocado toast, pastries, egg dishes, good mix of sweet and savory). Plenty of veggie/vegan options. A little outdoor seating spot and ample indoor seating in a cool setting. Lots of people working away or chilling

Nice place, we really liked the cozy terrace with a lot of plants. Tasty coffee and pastries. Great location in the old part of Lisbon.

From the outside, it's hard to notice that there is anything here unless you're looking for the place, as the signage is pretty low key, but once you step in, you'll be blown away with the atmosphere. It's a very cool place and you can tell that although they've added modern amenities, this building goes back many many years. The coffee and food are also great, consistent with other Copenhagen Coffee Lab locations that we've been to. Lots of great options for a snack or light meal, with both sweet and savory baked goods that will delight the taste buds. This is a fantastic place to stop in before starting your day, or as a break from the heat and sun before continuing your journey.

Beautiful coffee place with really kind waitresses. They forgot to give me the pastry I order so they gave me an extra one. It also looks a great place to study. Be aware that they dont speak portuguese.

I’m lucky I live only a couple of minutes from this Copenhagen Coffee Lab location (they have a few spots around Lisbon)! I come here most mornings to relax and grab a consistently perfect latte or cappuccino with oat milk and a cinnamon bun (they make the baked goods in house!). There’s plenty of space both indoors and outdoors (cute garden area) and it’s a lovely place to meet with friends, catch up on work emails, or just relax and people watch. Pro tip: try both of the cinnamon buns (classic and raspberry) at least once!!

Copenhagen Coffee Lab is a self-service coffee shop. Good Coffee, good breakfast.. but expensive. The staff unfortunately seemed to be overchallenged and was not very guest-friendly. If you want to have a better experience, I’d recommend one of the nearby owner-run coffee shops.

We came across this lovely place just by chance, the tram 28 that climbs up the Alfama ascents in Lisbon stops right at the entrance. The intoxicating aroma of baking got into our noses and we promised that after our trip to Alfama we would return and so it was. The entrance is actually from the street but immediately descend the stairs to an amazing space with antique bricks and arches. There is a patio outside for those who want open air. The prices are reasonable, the pastries are delicious. The coffee is not bad either. The BARISTA was a bit of an antipathy but it's not something I would lower a score for. Overall a great spot on the ancient streets of Lisbon

Great place to have breakfast. Very good variety of breakfastplates and the cinnamon and chocolate buns are a poem. Also the place in general is super cozy!

Amazing place! Was right around the corner from my AirBnB so I went there pretty often in one week. Coffee is perfect and tasty, the food is beyond delicious and the staff so super nice and friendly. The prices are okay and fair in my opinion. The cafe has a nice interior and beautiful patio on the inside. Can only recommend!

The atmosphere here is one of the best! Underground, rustic, and charming. The staff were so patient even during rush hour. The coffee was wonderful and so was the food! We ordered the breakfast plate which gives you multiple options all in one plate for a great price! So glad we found this spot in Lisbon. Would definitely go back!

This is not a typical Portuguese place, feels much more like hipster London Cafe. Inside pretty quiet, more for laptops-only than conversations vibe. I would totally recommend if you're looking for a spot with good pastries and working atmosphere.

Cinnamon bun is to die for! The famous breakfast plate is bit overrated for me, not worth 12€ since you have to pay extra for a coffee. Also make sure to take with you cleaning/sanitizer tissues because the tables are not wiped/cleaned after each customer which can be a huge fail for some people, regarding the covid era we live in. Super busy after 9:30 so make sure to get there early. I'm giving 4 stars because their bakery rocks. Also friendly staff, but you can see they might need an extra pair of hands at the rush hour.

Really cozy place for a very good coffee! We had a flat white and a cappuccino which were very good. The place has a small terrace in the backyard where you can chill and enjoy your coffee and/or lunch. Highly recommended!

Delicious coffee and food, wonderful little garden in the back. Definitely a place to be. Check out the pictures from the reviews and here are some of the highlights. Cardamom bun, raspberry bun, ham and cheese croissant, croissant with scrambled eggs, protein boost smoothie. Just one little tip, the wifi isn’t the greatest so working from here can be a little tricky. Besides that, always a delicious breakfast or brunch here. Would definitely recommend!

Good location en route tram 28. We got a cortado, latte, pain au chocolat, cinnamon bun and almond croissant. The coffee was great and well made. Even though they were understaffed because of new year’s eve, the servers were super friendly and welcoming. The pastries were good, especially the cinnamon bun! We went to Portas do Sol after and enjoyed our food with a view.

Awesome coffee shop to eat breakfast at. The meal was inexpensive and each part was excellent. The breads and pastries were especially wonderful. Also, it appeared that they may blend their own tea, which tasted great. I recommend you get the cardamom bun as a part of your breakfast plate.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab in Lisbon offers a serene escape into the world of quality coffee and indulgent treats. Tucked away in the charming streets of Lisbon, this coffee haven greets you with its inviting terrace lined with green tables, where you can bask in the city's vibrant atmosphere. Step inside, and you are welcomed by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee, mingling harmoniously with the quaint, artistic decor featuring classic Portuguese tile art that tells stories of the past. The waiter's amiability adds to the cafe's cozy ambiance, ensuring each guest feels right at home. The coffee, undeniably the star of the show, is rich and expertly crafted, reflecting the cafe's dedication to quality and flavor. Each sip is a testament to the baristas' skill and the high-grade beans used. Complementing the coffee is a delectable selection of cakes, each more tempting than the last, making it nearly impossible to choose just one. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Copenhagen Coffee Lab is a must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful break in their day, complete with impeccable service, exceptional coffee, and a slice of sweetness to brighten your Lisbon experience.

Many vegan and vegetarian options for breakfast. Coffee is great. I visited a few of the other locations while visiting Lisboa and by far this one was the coolest inside. The staff are friendly.

What an experience. Felt like I was in an airport right after you go through security. Coffee took 25 mins. No juices were being served even though it was in big bold writing on the menu. Chicken sandwich in the fridge was out and not able to be sold? Asked the guy at the counter how long the coffees would be and I was snapped at like a small dog. Shortly after this 3 pigeons that were roaming free inside the premises flew out of the nearby kitchen / toilet area. When the coffees arrived they were poorly done and cold. We also ordered some eggs and this how they’re served ( see below). To top it off there was a father of two children publicly smashing tables getting angry while simultaneously a bald man aged around 50 years old screeching like a banshee from a gap in the stairs. I hope the pigeons had a better time than us

This place is amazing! One of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to in the world. I’ve been to boulangeries all across France and I’ve never had bread as good as this place. The cappuccino was good, the bread was incredible, the orange juice extremely fresh, the brownie was delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy and laidback. I had the breakfast plate and it was just what I needed after climbing up all these steep Lisbon hills. The overnight oats were fresh and delicious as well.

Hidden gem! We had the cinnamon bun , two eggs with sourdough, and a cappuccino and americano. Everything was absolutely FANTASTIC! They forgot the sugar for my cappuccino and the coffee was so great that I didn’t even bother to ask for it. Fast friendly service, beautiful outdoor terrace, and amazing food! *don’t mind the already partially eaten cinnamon bun in the pic 🤣

Fabulous flat white coffee ( New Zealanders/Aussies - coffee here tastes like at home ) Very beautiful space with sandwiches scrolls, and menu on offer. I also picked up a fresh baguette

Kind and patient staff, with delicious food and coffee. The venue is quaint and quite heartwarming, as you can hear and see the tram pass by the door every now and then. I would definitely recommend coming here for breakfast and we are resisting the urge to return two days in a row! I would just advise against the unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen on the way to the bathroom, although this gets replaced by lovely fragrance once in the toilet.

Please prepare cash to go here, they only accept cash. There is ATM around the corner but you pay almost 4eur for admin fee. This place is cozy and nice but very expensive for Lisbon price level. For 2ppl brunch I spent 40eur to have full amount of food.

This place feels like transplanted from Denmark, a mix of Lagkagehuset and Emmerys, except for the terrace with better weather. Great ambiance, great food and coffee. Recommend to have cash on you as the card terminal not always works reliably.

Very nice spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Great pastries and bread options. We had brunch there and opted for the avocado bread with eggs and scrambled eggs with salmon and rye. Their coffee is amazing but the true star is their cinnamon roll! Do not miss it.

If you are in Portugal and looking for a coffee shop with a nice and relaxing atmosphere, this is hands down the place! We walked by this place randomly and looked in, immedialty thinking: This is where we want to drink coffee, work on creative projects and just enjoy some shaddow. The drinks and food is also really good. Specially reccomend their iced coffee, creamy innamon buns and salmon salad. We went here multiple times and it was great! If you don't go here, you're simply missing out :P Tip to staff/management; on extra hot days, it would be great to have more air-condition installed! <3

  • 2/5 Justina K. 5 months ago on Google
The only thing we liked was cinnamon roll. Avocado toast with an egg was pretty bland, the tastiest part of it was bread :) The salmon & avocado sandwich had tiny thin two pieces of avocado. Cappuccino had no milk foam on top, tasted more like coffee and simply heated milk mix. On top of everything, bunch of dust from the ceiling fell down on us. Generally it looked like health & safety issue because the pieces of ceiling were about to fall down more, especially when the old tram 28 was passing by. The waitress did not look impressed about the comment of the ceiling. She replied “oh sorry:(“ and went away from us.

Stayed at around 3 hours. It was my first place to visit in Lisboa after taking off from the plane. I think Copenhagen Coffee Lab has one of the best and most sophisticated quality in Lisboa (since I am a coffee expert and have been in coffee industry for more than 10 years) This place was very spacious including fresh and cozy outside garden and also various pastries would satisfy you. On the day I visited, there were not enough staffs considering number of customers so it took more than 20 minutes to get my orders. But the staffs were generally kind. Strongly recommend if you are a good coffee seeker

  • 3/5 Ba G. 3 years ago on Google
A great place with good quality coffee and a nice avo-toast. However, I've had many avotoasts in my days, and this one was by far the smallest and the most expensive one I've had. 8 euros for a small piece of bread and 1 egg. If it was 2 of these pieces it would be reasonable. And there wasn't much avocado on it that you could charge 8 euros for it. The coffee is very good too. I'm a barista myself. However, even comparing to the specialty coffee shops in Lisbon and in the Algarve - this was by far the most expensive I've had - 3,60 euros for a small cappuccino is more than I pay back home in Sweden. Get your prices together guys. We are not in Denmark.

What a great building for a coffee shop! Smells inviting. And such a friendly welcome. Had a chat about coffee & that felt like a great invite. Had a oat flat white. Tasted great. Food looked & smelt good! Really like this place. Plenty of space to sit, chat & there’s a few people working on laptops. Quiet & chill with some light background music. Free WiFi & password on a board (which is always a bonus rather than asking!) such a cool ambient coffee shop. Wish they had this kind of vibe & feel in London! Has an outdoor seating area too!

We stumbled across this coffee bar / bakery by coincidence and figured we would have a quick coffee and perhaps a pre-lunch snack. It turned out to become our lunch that day. It was easily the best coffee we had during our 4-day Lisboa trip, and with perfect pastries on the side. The rye/avocado/egg sandwich was made to perfection, and the cinnamon rolls were almost as if they were made in actual Copenhagen. Highly recommended for its atmosphere, coffee and food quality. Clean and nice and modern too!

  • 5/5 Eugenia C. 4 years ago on Google
The atmosphere, the food, the location, the drinks - all was just as needed. Stumbled across the hidden gem while walking around the cobbled streets, and it was an oasis of good vibes and yummy delights. Returned a second time for the breakfast plate, and again, it lived up to expectations. Fairly priced too. Definitely recommend the trip!

From all the locations they have in Lisbon this one is my favorite. It has a nice ambience it's ats very chill, it has a small terrace in the back and it is great to go work, read a book or just find someplace to rest. They have a great breakfast menu that in my opinion is good for two people. All the bread is fresh and I will also recommend the granola ( when I was there they were making it in the oven and it was spectacular).

  • 5/5 James w. 4 years ago on Google
Fantastic space with some of the best coffee we had in Lisbon. Great brunch offering and because of the size there is plenty of space to either sit inside at large tables, sofas or chairs or outside in the sheltered courtyard. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Very arrogant staff. They charged my card twice. When I queried it, they denied it. I checked my account when I got home to see that they had indeed me twice. I walked back to the store. They said they couldn't help me, took my phone number and said someone would call that day. No one called, and so a week later I came back. They gave me my money back. No apology, they didn't even look at me. The staff in general are quite rude. Their food is drastically overpriced - no value in either product or food. Avoid

CCL is usually one of my favourite coffee places in Lisbon. But the Al Fama branch is disappointing. Firstly they don’t accept non-Portuguese bank cards (whereas their other locations do). This is very inconvenient. Plus, the staff member who served me was not particularly friendly. All in all, I wasn’t impressed.

Overpriced compared to all other Lisbon brunch place (12 euros for avocado toasts) . Using takeaway plastic cups for dine in drinks . And one of their employee is rude for no reason. Fauna and flora or Manifest or Zenith are way better option for breakfast in Lisbon.
