Dede’s was a treat. A Friend recommended this place to me and I didn’t know what to expect but the breakfast/ brunch was amazing. The staff were relaxed and helpful. Service was good. The prices were solid as well considering how pricing for food is around Lisbon. The banana bread is delicious and avocado smash toast is delicious as well. It was topped with different ingredients I never had before on a toast. Definitely will return

What a gem - and definitely not your everyday brunch! One of our absolute favourites in Lisbon! A friend recommended Dede’s as a still relatively unknown but extraordinary breakfast spot and we were not disappointed! The brunch menu is an awesome deal for about 15€ with which you get one main dish, a big (and absolutely delicious) piece of banana bread, any choice of coffee from the menu plus a cute little bottle of fresh orange juice - and as much cold water as you like. We loved (!) the iced coffee and the Japanese egg pancakes were amazing. All of the sauces are to die for! The food is not only awesome in taste and quality but it also looks like a small piece of art. The dishes are unusual and great to try something new. This is definitely for anyone who’s a little bored of the standard granola bowl and pancakes 😉 The place is beautifully furnished and decorated! Unfortunately it’s a little hidden away and there is no outdoor seating but the stunning inside makes you forget about that really quickly. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful! We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an awesome brunch experience in Lisbon!

Friendly, cosy and very tasty! Wow! The banana bread was delicisous! Very good matcha and loved the milk art 😍 recommend! Only working point: order of the food & drinks. We received drinks first, although we asked for the food fast because of our little one. (She was hangry) and it came fast, lovely! But we received our drinks when the food was eaten… also, took 10-15 minutes before we could order. Be better at that and it’s perfect!

This place was recommended by my Airbnb 's host. I had their Dede's brunch, which includes a main dish (I picked the Okonomiyaki), banana bread, OJ, and coffe. The Okonomiyaki was excellent and I recommend it. The banana bread was good, too.

Excellent cafe for a coffee, a pastry, or a full lunch (with healthy options). 💚 Great selection of veggie forward bowls. Fantastic options for a quick, healthy lunch. The avo 🥑 bowl is particularly good. 🪑 Ample seating, some outdoors. Especially nice on a warm day when they have the doors and windows open. 🍌Delicious banana bread! Not overly sweet.

The staff was really nice, the ambience is comfortable. They were careful with the kids, by bringing first the food for then and having some food for kids. Also the dishes for adults were really different and tasty 🤩

We loved this space. Took the brunch option with okonomiyaki and the Dede’s bowl as mains which were very delicious and filling (even for my hungry bf). Also great freshly pressed orange juice, banana bread and coffee for a fair price. We‘d definitely recommend 😋

Looking to narrow your breakfast spot in Lisbon is always challenge but we decided to visit Dedes What I love about dedes is their food selection is very different to the other restaurants and love how they have integrated some interesting flavors from piri piri scrambled egg & the Japanese pancakes. Highly recommend to make your way to dedes and make sure you come early over the weekend because the place can get very busy!

A terrific cafe/restaurant serving breakfast and lunch opened recently in Lapa, and it is well worth the visit. It’s casual but comfortable with friendly staff. the breakfasts are healthy and hardy, very tasty with good portion sizes, many with an Asian-Japanese flavors. We had the bowl, avocado sandwich, and split the granola bowl with fruit and yogurt. I ordered the full breakfast that provided coffee, orange juice and homemade banana bread. It was plenty of food and well priced. I’ll be back.

I like how this sweet café is nestled in a hilltop neighbourhood and offers an oasis of calm and pleasant music. The food is crafted well and I am loving the vegan sandwich. I just wish there were other vegan options, too.

So glad I found this gem while I visited. The food was incredible, but the vibe was just as good. Tucked away into a quite residential area you'll have the most delicious brunch. The menu was unique and their banana bread and Iced late was incredible! When I come back to Lisbon I will be here! Obrigada!

Had the brunch menu (orange juice, choice of coffee, entree, and banana bread) and opted for latte and avocado toast. The best latte I’ve had so far in Lisbon after weeks of trying out many brunch spots! They take their coffee seriously and it shows :) The banana bread was so good and the best way to end the meal. Great value brunch & worth the trip!

Most excellent coffee! Really special. Everything homemade with so much exquisiteness. The chef here was working in a star restaurant before and you can feel that. One of my fav spots in Lisbon. Thank you

This place really made my day. I've tried a few cafes in Lisbon in my 2 week holiday and this one really stood out. The food is thoughtfully put together, you can feel the menu was made by someone with a lot of (international) experience. Most importantly for me, the coffee hits your soul just right. Chefs kiss. Only topped by the amazing staff who treat you like friends event though it was my first visit. I felt at home instantly and that's what a good café should do. Well done!

Super cute cafe with a delicious menu including lots of vegetarian options. The service was excellent and appreciate that they have outdoor seating. The reason for the 4/5 is that the prices are a bit high making it less accessible to frequent more often than an occasion.

One of our favorite brunch locations in Lisboa. Everything from the menu tastes amazing and it’s really something different (pulled jackfruit sandwich & Japanese pancakes). We also really like the staff at the café as you can really tell that they love what they do ♥️ (And yes, as you can see from the pictures, we have been here SO many times already 😬)

  • 5/5 Hatty H. 1 year ago on Google
Gorgeously tasty and creative food with a great ethos and atmosphere! The food was delicious, particularly love the fusion of brunch food with Asian dishes - the okonomiyaki was fabulous! They have speciality coffee too which is a rarity in Lisbon, really good cold brew. Dede was very charming and we'll definitely come again 🤠🤠 and buy some pickles !

It's a nice spot, with very friendly staff, and good food although not amazing (not as good as I remembered, actually). The jackfruit sandwich was good but a bit bland. My wife's okonomiyaki was alright, similarly. I was also a bit disappointed that there was no caffeine-free option in the brunch menu. Still a good place to go.

Funny menu, with varied dishes from different cuisines. We took the burrata and the korean bbq sandwiches and it was good. Still dont know why it is called korean bbq though lol Service is friendly, even if we waited for a while. They speak English

Michelin-quality food and service in a casual setting. Service attentive and completely open to customising to your needs. Menu inventive and refreshing twists on brunch favorites. We had the piri piri and avo smash which was delicious. We want to come back did the Japanese pancake speciality. Don’t miss it!

Started with the best orange juice, with a little ginger, biting into a ripe orange! Just got better and better, try the Okonomayaki, even if you have eaten it before, the make it beautifully, with a trendy brunch touch. Finish with their Banana Bread, made crispy and fluffy on the inside just for service, so worth the trip!

  • 5/5 Timothy V. 2 years ago on Google
it’s one of the best breakfasts I had. Not just in Lisbon. But in the world. Get the okonomiyaki and/or pulled jackfruit sandwich.

So happy I ended up going to this place for brunch! The food is so delicious, I want to return and try it all now :) Okonomiyaki was really nice: crisp, fresh with great texture, not too high in batter or greasy as some can be in other places. The new apple juice combo was delightful, please have it always on the menu! The two guys working there were very friendly and it was so nice to chat with them. I left the cafe in such a great mood :) Thank you guys for such an amazing job! ❤️

What a cute hidden gem in Santos and Lapa. Amazing baked goods - try the banana bread for sure. We’ll made coffee (flat white is great!) and unique, crafted breakfast plates made with care. Don’t miss the okonomiyaki !

The best brunch in Lisbon. Coffee? Exceptional. Food? Honestly the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had - soft leeks, mushrooms and bacon, with chilli oil on top. Great natural wines as well - thanks to local legends Senhor Uva. To top it off, Rhi and Agne are deadset legends who are happy to have a chat, and even give you the secret to their Japanese pancakes. Oh, and the banana bread is incredible. If you are in the area, and even if you are not, go.

Dede’s is worth a special trip! Catch the 28 tram and end up here for brunch. It’s the best brunch that we’ve had, not just in Lisbon, but in over a year traveling through Europe. The coffee was exceptionally good (even by Australian standards), with a delicious ANZAC biscuit to top it off. The food was exceptional - four of us all completely cleaned our plates. They also had terrific beer and wine, and the service was great. My dad loved the okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancakes) so much. The owner generously shared the recipe with him, and he is going to try to make them at home. Absolute perfection - our only regret is that we wish that we had an opportunity to come back again!
