Best empadas I’ve ever had! Homemade with many options, including vegetarian ones. Vegetables used in the empadas are from the Saturday organic market right here in Príncipe Real! The women who make them serve here as well!! A place where time has slept and the people full of heart! ❤️❤️❤️

Really cute family run Cafe in Lisbon. Delicious pastries and the best Galao ever. Gave me some Portuguese juice glasses as a souvenir too!

Such a nice and typical place. One needs to support and preserve these traditional places due to rise of new bigger cafe and bakery chains.

A really good find. Very popular with the locals. A local shop keeper suggested that we try their authentic Portuguese food. The cook was very helpful and so was one of the guys eating there. We liked the meat and potato pie. Beer was good. Very reasonable. They have won several awards.

Amazing Portuguese pasteleria for its food and décor. I love the chocolate egg tart and charming owners.

We happen to go into this shop to grab a quick bite because the restaurant next door had a 1h+ wait. Who knew we'd find a gem in this small mom and pop shop! The food is absolutely wonderful and feels home cooked. The shop owner was very friendly and laughed when we came back in a second and third time. Definitely try the chicken pie and the fried white fish with lemon. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

One of the best Pastel de Nata, that I had. I would say even better than the original place Pastéis de Belem!! So go for it and try it for sure ;)

Have to pass each time I'm in Lisboa. The empadas are fantastic and the service very friendly. The prices are more than reasonable for the home-made pastry! I just love this place!!

Everything is a delight! Special mention for the pasteis de nate, as good as the Belem's pasteis, and the salame de chocolate 😋! The family is very nice and friendly. One of the best place in Lisbon for eating.

👍👍 I was very surprised to see that even though this is right in the middle of “tourist town” the Pastel De Nata is by far the best I have ever tried. I've been to a few places around Portugal for Pastel de Nata and this place has the best ones hands down! Their filling is unique to others and I find t...

👍👍 We are Americans visiting and really enjoyed the pastries and coffee here. As a warning to other travelers, most the staff doesn't speak English and there us a ticket system to order. When you walk in. #1 tickets are for sit down and #2 are for carryout. We didn't know this and waited in line and ha...

👍 Bakery that has been around since 1829, used to serve royalty directly (if I remember my guide correctly). The sweets, such as the God's Bread, were definitely good and worth a try. The egg tarts are also good, but there are other places with better tasting iterations of them. Overall, a good place...
