I have been to two locations in Lisbon , one was at a mall, so I didn't have much expectation about the way the ice cream was served/ presentation. However, as a child, I remember going to häagen dazs, and everything was served on real plates with real utensils. Jump to 2023, and everything is served on paper dishes with throw-away forks and knives. I find this to be very disappointing as I used to think of hagen dazs as a high-end luxury place for a treat. Its modern decor and throw-away plates/utensils really took away that feeling. Ice cream is still very yummy, but I will be looking for something with a bit more class in the future. I recommend the banana Crêpe but the way the wooden fork feels in your mouth will taint the experience.
