We visited Lisbon and had a very good lunch at The Green Affair. This is a vegan restaurant along Rua Serpa Pinto in the Chiado neighbourhood. Opening hours are 12pm to 11pm daily. They have a modern and nicely decorated indoor seating area as well as terrace section as well. Staff were friendly and timely during our late lunch as well. On the occasion we tried their Chestnut Risotto and chickpea & quinoa burger with pesto and a side of sweet potato fries. Both dishes were prepared well in the kitchen and presentable. They tasted very good and as expected for a quality vegan restaurant. We'd have no problem ordering both again and would be interested in trying other dishes on their menu. Overall, very good job to the team at The Green Affair. This is a solid vegan restaurant with quality dishes and very good service. It is a good option for those seeking healthy places to eat during trips to Lisbon. We'd gladly eat here again next time we are in the city.

Nothing negative to say about the Green Affair. Both of their restaurants are amazing. The food is always fresh, really good portion size, the staff is super friendly and the place looks lovely too. We had the hot dog which was delicious. Also the burger whoaaa so lovely to taste a home made vegan burger and not the ready made beyond burger. Great place! Great service, affordable delicious food and great visual setting/atmosphere. I honestly believe this was one of two unique menus I saw in Lisbon. If you're looking for flavor and texture choices, this is it. From curry to tofu based "fish" style meals, you'll have plenty to choose from. The food also came out fast and hot. The atmosphere would be great for dinner but I went at lunch time and it was quiet and peaceful. Great choice for service, speed, atmosphere, walk ability, variety and food.

I think they were struggling a bit with staffing but the food was so good I went there twice for dinner during my stay in Lisboa. I also thought the pricing was very reasonable.

Super cute place to enjoy a vegan dinner in Lisbon! They even have some traditionally Portuguese options (of course, all veganized!). We didn't have to book a table in advance and the staff was super accommodating and friendly. We felt very welcome. Also, definitely try their homemade ice tea, it's very unique and delicious. Lastly: the price is quite good. The portions were rather large and we had a drink, a starter and a main for 20€ per person.

A bit of a mixed experience...but overall we did enjoy it here. Service was great, restaurant interior was lovely, and cocktails were delicious. The starters were very experimental- watermelon as tuna, a fruity style cerviche and some classic focaccia. All were delicious and not usually things I would order. We shared the seitan steak and tofu dish, which were both just a bit lacking in flavour. Veggies/greens were great, but the main focus of the meals just missed the mark. I would definitely visit again to try some other dishes, but maybe the mistake we made were choosing veganised "classic" dishes such as "steak".

We liked The Green Affair. In an effort to sample as many of the vegan eateries in Lisbon as possible, we arrived for our second meal of the day at Green Affair. The restaurant wasn’t very busy on a weeknight & the service & wait time was excellent. The starters elevated the bar high - breaded cauliflower wings & chik’n tacos were the highlight of the meal. My partner ordered the pesto pasta & I had the seitan steak. The food was properly hearty & healthy, we agreed something about the delivery / textures just didn’t “wow” us like the starters did. Nonetheless we emerged from the meal feeling elevated & happy to have dined there. We will be making a return trip to Lisbon & would be more than happy to dine here again! Thanks GA!

We sat on their terrasse at lunch and the atmosphere is relaxed. A nice place if you want to have an easy conversation with friends and family along with a nice meal. Their lunch menu options are good. We enjoyed our meal and the presentation is nice. We did not get a wow factor but everything was good. Well priced, we had an overall good experience.

OMG, this all vegan restaurant is amazing. The food was so good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff attentive without being overbearing. We had two starters, drinks, dinner for two, and the most delicious chocolate cake for dessert with a cappuccino, that can only be described as pure ecstasy. All for about €50. Plus because New Year’s Eve crowds we were late for our reservation and the were most gracious about it and seated us immediately with our choice of upstairs or downstairs. We both highly recommend and would go back there again in a heartbeat.

Love the green affair in Saldanha, it was my first time visiting this one here in Chiado. I like that this one has an indoor smoking area. The staff are very attentive and nice. Be sure to make a reservation because it can get busy. The food is just as delicious as the Saldanha restaurant. Perfect place to bring your non vegan friends

Had a really relaxing and enjoyable lunch with a good vegan rendition of katsu curry but the vegan steak with fries my wife ordered was even better. The dessert was a great low sugar berries crumble with lemon whipped cream that tasted like Sweden on a plate. The restaurant decoration is also a big plus, a hip modern art deco combined with a super chill mood. Everyone waiting was super nice and helpful also, so a big plus there. Will definitely visit again when I'm in town.

The food sounded (from the menu) and looked awesome. Unfortunately it was cold when they brought it and tasted quite bland... But the worst part about our experience was the service/organization: Although we explicitly mentioned when ordering that we wanted a break between startes and main course, they brought the main while we were still eating the starters 😔 we weren't offered a second drink and just felt like they wanted us out as quickly as possible. Did the Team just have a Bad Day or is it like that any Day? We don't know 🤷

A definite high point of our trip to Lisbon. Really great quality, great value food in a really nice setting, what more could you ask for?! We went for the lunch deal and everything was really really tasty! We washed it down with a nice bottle of white that didn't break the bank either. This place will be at the top of the list when whenever we come back to Lisbon :-)

Absolutely great place to chill and work with great Vegan food

This was a pleasant surprise. The risotto and the katsu curry were pretty tasty. The croquettes too! The drinks were refreshing and also excellent. I’d skip the gyoza though. The layout of the restaurant is a bit awkward for service though as there’s an upstairs and a downstairs. The downstairs was often forgotten, and servers would literally run down and apologize. But the meal was great, and they were very kind - just a bit disorganized.

This place was one of my favorite places I went to on my trip to Portugal! The food was amazing and the service staff was so, so nice :) I can highly recommend getting the katsu curry. The decor of the restaurant is also very pretty and a great spot if you are traveling alone or with friends!

Such good vegan food, unpretentious and just so good. The steak dish had an absolutely delicious sauce and perfectly crispy and salty sweet potato fries. The texture of the steak could have been a little firmer for my taste and the coleslaw on both main courses could have used both salt and vinegar. The Cauliflower on the starter menu was delicious and crispy and the dip was excellent. The ribs were good, but the seitan could have been crispier and a slightly spicier sauce would have made the meal a little better. However, the overall experience was thoughtful and good and the prices were good for the quality. Service is always friendly and quick. The Green Affair always manages to satisfy and that's why it's a pleasure to go back again and again.

We had lunch on Tuesday around 2pm and we we had no problem to find a table. We ordered the daily menu (10,90€) + marinated olives & hummus for starters. The bowls were huge and we weren’t able to finish them, but they were quite tasty. The place was very nice and the service was helpful. It’s great to find vegan places such as this one, totally recommend.

Excellent quality vegan cuisine at a decent price. The golden latte was one of the best I’ve ever had - perfectly peppered and spicy. The tofu was cooked to perfection and the mixed vegetable side was full of quality greens for only €3.50. The outdoor garden area is also super charming. Highly recommend!

The food was 10/10 could not believe the flavours without dairy, the server was so good with a great happy energy. Definitely worth a visit and the price was very affordable.

The atmosphere was very cozy, we came quite early so we had the restaurant to ourselves. Therefore we had no issue with waiting time at all. We started of with the Take Couvert! and the Cauliflower Wings, both were really delicious. Especially the cauliflower was good and very nice and crispy. As main we had the Pumpkin Flaky Crust, unfortunately the portion was a bit smaller then expected as the main part if the dish was the flaky pastry. The filling itself was delicious but very little compared to the amount of crust. The cauliflower puree was good in taste but in was very little and more like a sauce, very liquid. The dish was good in flavor but the overall ratio and texture leaves some room for improvement. The second dish we had was the Seitan Barbecue, the quantity if the dish was good but it was not really outstanding in flavor. The coleslaw was really missing flavor it was very bland in taste. The seitan was okay in taste but there was not a lot of sauce which also ended up leaving the fries a bit dry. A sauce or dip would've been nice. As a drink we had a lemonade which was more like a lemon water so I wouldn't recommend that but we also had a white sangria with gin which was really delicious and had a very unique flavor. Overall it was nice dinner, the starters were really good compared to the main course. Would definitely try again and maybe try some of the other main dishes.

Absolutely loved the food here. Some of the nicest and most well thought out vegan dishes I've had. I went here with two of my friends who aren't vegan and they really enjoyed their meal too! I took one star away because we were put at a table in 'the garden'. It was a bit cold, lacked atmosphere and felt like the overflow table for the restaurant. Incredible 100% vegan restaurant, with a very reasonable €9.95 lunch menu which came with 2 courses and a drink. Nice decor inside, and has a private courtyard round the back for outdoor seating. All very flavourful, great portions, and the star of the show was that beringela - amazing! 🍆

The food and ambiance was great. We had the cauliflower wings and vegetable gyoza for starters, I would recommend the cauliflower wings. As the main, we got the falafel bowl and the sem espinhas o lagoreira, which was the best and a traditional Portuguese dish. The waitresses were lovely but the manager was a little weird and hostile. We were asked for our negative covid test/vaccine which I understand and showed.

I went into the restaurant with high hopes and was even more excited after arriving because the ambience is amazing - it is neatly organized, the colour theme is eye-catching yet relaxing, and the decor has a lot of character. But I was sincerely disappointed with the food. We ordered the gyozas, cauliflower wings and Bao for starters. Of these, the gyozas were quite delicious but the other two weren't very tasty. For the mains, we ordered the serloin steak and katsu curry dishes. Not the best vegan takes I've had. The curry lacked a spice zing and was on the sour side with tad too much tumeric flavour. The steak was mealier than necessary, but the sauce was quite good and brought some flavour to the dish. For the dessert, the Charlie Brown was enjoyable. In the drinks, I recommend the pumpkin spice latte and the mango highlander cocktail. You may skip the kombucha.

We had the watermelon tataki as a starter (never had anything like that before and never thought of watermelon this way), the asparagus risotto with mushrooms and the boneless lagareiro as a main dish and the cheesecake as a dessert. Everything was really good, but the boneless lagareiro was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my whole life. I couldn't believe it. It was absolutely amazing. I guess its very salty but it was perfect for me (but if you don't like that, you shouldn't order it).

Had a great lunch experience at the Green Affair - their lunch menu is a great value and the quality (and quantity) of the food was impressive. I really appreciated that they offer a plan based take on typical dishes instead of simply offering a veggie burger. Staff was also really friendly and service was quick.

Had the Katsu curry which was very tasty (though I would have preferred they slightly upped the curry sauce to rice ratio). The fried tofu and aubergine chunks were delicious. I rarely have desert but wanted to give it a try and the chocolate brownie (?) with pineapple sauce (on the side!) was good. If there is a next time I’d like to go for the marinated tofu dish.
