What a lovely place! The food is to die for. It was my first night in Lisbon and they have set the standard high! I had the octopus salad which was so delicious. And I also had pork belly with chips. But these are not just any chips. They are more like a cross between potatoes and chips. I had never tasted anything like this. It was absolutely delicious and the pork was so tender. And I rounded out the meal with a passion fruit moose. I loved everything and highly recommend it. The service was excellent as well.

Is Sacco good…? Well we stayed nearby for 7 days and went back 3 times so…🤣 the garlic prawns are SUPER good - yes I ordered it three times! My boyfriend ordered the fish cakes 3x. The owners as really lovely, everything we tried there was delicious. Cosy, cute and by the third time - we were not customers but “neighbours”. We loved it!

Loved this little restaurant that’s run by a lovely couple. They serve authentic Portuguese cuisine and was very friendly in recommending dishes with good English. I had the salted codfish fritters to start - this is a 6 pieces starters that’s nicely fried with cod fish flakes and cauliflower. And for mains I had the pork cheeks with chips. This is to die for! The cheeks were so tender and well seasoned. It’s super yummy! You won’t regret ordering this dish. Their portions are big, so it’s good for sharing.

We went there on a Saturday night. We ordered four tapas and four main courses there. The food was really good, especially the bacalhau. Unfortunately, the service doesn't work at all. We first had to wait half an hour for the first starter, and then the rest of the tapas all arrived late one after the other. Almost an hour between the last tapas and the start of serving of the main course. The first two main courses came together, then 10 minutes later the third dish. The fourth main course came after everyone else had finished. So unfortunately - despite the good food - not a good rating. Also because the waiter didn't clear away or ask for drinks in between.

The best traditional Portuguese food we’ve had in Lisbon! Everything we’ve tried was absolutely mouth watering! Will definitely visit again!!!

We checked out this restaurant through Fork and decided because of the great reviews we are going to check it out and booked our reservation. We arrived way too early but the owner was so accommodating and made right away arrangements. We ordered salad, octopus and monkfish rice. Wow, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Guarantee one will not get disappointed! It’s a fantastic place! The food was amazing! The octopus was so tender, salt cod fritters were amazing too. Definitely get the monkfish rice as well, really hearty and fresh - the service was excellent as well. If you’re a tourist like me who does speak much Portuguese, the waiters here are great with English and so friendly as well. Wrapped up the dinner with Abade cake + espresso. Perfect way to end the day with. Highly recommend!

Our visit in this cute little restaurant was one of our greatest experience in Lisbon. The waiter (Rui) was one of the kindest and friendliest person we have ever met. He was super helpful, talkative and made the whole dinner night just better. The food was delicious and the prices weren't too high. The enteriour of the restaurant was really nice and had a good vibe, such as the music, which was really pleasant as well. To sum it up we had a great time here, big thank you Rui! 💯✅🙂

My friend and I had the best experience at Sacco! We really wanted to escape the touristy restaurants in the center of Lisbon where we were staying. Our waiter Gerente was so kind and helpful! The service was quick and the food was delicious. 10/10 recommend 😊

Awesome place! We just left our Airbnb apartment to check what is outside and found this quite place. The staff is friendly and helpful, also they speak English. Take one main dish with fish, salad, fried chips and tapas (Octopus salad). Everything is perfect. We also took two home wine, I’d also recommend it.

Great restaurant in Lisbon! The food was delicious, and the staff is great - sharing recommendations which were great! It’s a small restaurant so it’s pretty loud if there’s a big group in, but it’s very enjoyable.

Service was amazing, preparation of the dishes was pretty fast so you don’t have to wait a lot of time. Is a small restaurant with about 6 tables inside and some in the terrace. Food was good, some dishes like the octopus were great, but still I feel the portions are too small compared to the price, otherwise it could have been 5 stars. Very nice house wine for a good price.

We book an airbnb near the restaurant so we went spontaneously. We found it easily, we got a table directly and the service was really nice and helpful, the atmosphere amazing and the food… oh my God!!! The octopus was so delicious and also the house wine!!! If I lived here it would be one of my favorite spots. Highly recommend it!

Incredibly tasty and friendly. Nice outdoor patio. One of the servers told another table all the best things to do in the area. Ordered olives, cheese, bread, shrimp with garlic, tempura asparagus, and chorizo. Everything was great! The house white wine was refreshing and had a delightful flavor.

First meal in Lisbon was a success! The host was incredibly kind and helpful (English menus were available). He put the air conditioning on for us on this super hot day. And the food was absolutely delicious! We started with olives and coffee. Next was the octopus salad (so fresh and a good sized portion) and cod fritters (fried perfectly with a mild flavor). Followed by shrimp and garlic (OMG! Large, whole shrimp—it is how seafood is supposed to taste) and vegetable tempura (easy to munch on). I wish I would’ve taken photos but I didn’t because the food looked and tasted that good!

Just had an amazing experience at Sacco. An unique combination of fine food & wine, great hospitality and on top of this all: the best art we’ve seen for ages on the walls. A must go for visitors of Lissabon!

We were searching for a typical Portuguese restaurant away from the touristic crowds and found this lovely restaurant. The owner is very friendly and fluent in English. Dishes were typical Portuguese, very good price quality and just delicious! Very recommended to go to this place and enjoy a calm area of Lisbon with good food, just go there!

Definitely not the best octopus I've tried in Portugal, but service and wine were good.

Fantastic food. Some of the best service we have had in Portugal. The garlic shrimp, fried cuttlefish, and Cod fritters were excellent. We couldn’t fault the food and service for the price and the scotch we ordered was probably a triple pour for the price of a single! Highly recommended.

Best octopus we've ever had. Fantastic service. Excellent ambiance. We also ordered all the cod dishes, and yes they were all terrific. The house wine, WOW. Can't say enough
