The perfect local place for a late dinner after a busy day. The wine is great, the food is amazing - I had the most delicious beef (or any, to be honest) tacos I've ever tried, the service is amazing, and the location is perfect. The dessert with pear, as well as the white wine were great, too! The music may have been a tad too loud, but might be just me. Also family friendly and accessible with a wheelchair, and there are tables outside. Ask the server to help if the table is wobbly. There are no traditional menu cards/books, only what's written on the board, but the servers can recommend you what to have depending on your preferences. Overall, highly recommend! It has such a high mark here on Google Maps for a reason, and makes an amazing local experience.

My local friends recommended this place for a casual dinner with a Portuguese friend. We absolutely loved the place. Service was extremely nice, they suggested us what to ordered based in our preferences/allergies. We had the home can made tuna, the sweet potatoes and the fish tacos and everything was delicious. A lot of local wines to taste as well and an amazing service. We’ll definitely come back ❤️

A lovely, funky hole-in-the-wall with a friendly staff and amazingly delicious, authentic Central and South American dishes. The menu is simple and soulful, and the chef clearly knows how to make cuisine that is surprising and delightful.

Unexpected excellence! This evening, on a whim, my wife and I stopped here for dinner. Despite not having a reservation they were able to accommodate us. Simply put, the food was wonderful. The menu rotates on what is fresh, but if you go soon, I recommend the pastel de bacalhau and olives to start and the lagartinhos which pairs great with the beet salad.

One of my favorites places in town! The menu changes frequently, but always contains options with fish, meat and vegetarian ones. I had the fried fish sandwich and a esquites and they were delicious!

Our first time at such a “young” restaurant - they opened just 3 weeks ago according to our server. The staff were super friendly, squeezing us in even though we didn’t have a reservation (I’d recommend making one if you’re coming for dinner!) and walking us through the menu. We ordered the olives, yuca chips, esquites, aguachile, a salad (off menu), and a huarache. It was plenty for two of us and probably would have been enough for three. I’d give the food 4/5: the shrimp in the aguachile could have used more time marinating for our taste, and the sauce that came with the yuca chips could use a little something. We added the hot sauce they brought to our table to ours, and that improved it immensely. However, we loved the esquites and the huarache was on point, considering how far we are from México! The overall experience deserves the 5/5 though, from the lively atmosphere to the thoughtful service. Definitely worth a try if you’re up for Portuguese/Mexican fusion. Note: if you don’t have a Portuguese card, you’ll have to pay with cash.

Food is so good and tasty, the waiter was very kind and the place is very nice and welcoming. The only negative note (in my opinion) is that the dishes, compared to the price, are very small. Absolutely recommended

Best shrimp tacos here! Also great labneh sweet potatoes. The cherry on the cake was the impeccable hospitality and service. Would go back for the shrimp tacos!

I happened to be walking down this street and took a picture of the front of the apartment. I saw a terrace and decided to look on Google maps and saw that there is restaurant with good reviews. I decided to go in there and totally regret doing so. 1. What a friendly service. They really take the time to explain the menu. 2. The food was fresh and very tasty. 3. The price was good. They have different kinds of dishes like salads, seviche, tacos. The menu is not extensive, but it doesn't have to be at all. There is plenty to choose from even if you eat vegetarian, for example. As a starter I had Salmorejo and next to it I had a sandwich with mushrooms, cheese, chutney and honey. The combination of these flavors was very tasty. The price was 13,50 with drinks. Nice place, really recommended!

A place worth visiting in Lisbon. A cute restaurant with a selection of small dishes. Perfect for sharing. Veggie and pescatarian options are available. Was quite busy but that didn’t affect the service, which was amazing. Attentive staff and great recommendations. Their starters are a must try. Especially, the peach, feta and coriander thing - delicious. We also tried the homemade focaccia. Overall, would definitely go back!

Fun, young local eatery in Lisbon outside of the tourist areas with nice wine and creative Latin inspired dishes. This place had a very Montreal vibe (it seemed like it had been taken straight out of the Mile-End neighbourhood) and being from Montreal, we loved it! The dishes were full of flavour and reasonably priced. I highly recommend!!

Best discovery during our time in Lisbon. What a lovely place to eat in. We particularly enjoyed their attention, the decor of the place, the lovely feel of their place, and the food. The cozido portugués was incredible, their moamba de galhina was incredible, and their orange juice and lemonade too. Fully recommend.

Shall I order cod cakes? I think the best ones were in Porto. They were not the best one. The best ones are here LOL. Grandma's recipe <3. My first meal in Lisbon was here. Restaurant was quiet which I LOVE. We ordered everything fast, they made it fast, we ate it fast and we left fast. My fav!! The mexican mushroom soup dish, shrimp tacos, sweet potato dish and the cod cakes are the ones to go!!! The meat tacos were a little salty but thats fine.

Food was really good, the Labneh Sweet potato that the waitress recommended was sweet, tangy, spicy and delicious. The mint pannacotta with lemon curd was amazing the mint flavour is not strong so it's really enjoyable even if you don't like mint. Totally recommended.

This place was amazing. A local friend recommended it to me. We didn’t realize this place was a reservation type place. We showed up and they mentioned they were all booked up, however they were kind enough to make something work for us. We promised we would be quick since we were on a tight schedule and they brought out our food incredibly fast. The service was top notch ! The servers were incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating. The food was next level! The labneh and sweet potato with chili crisp was our favorite dish. I did not expect that at all. Tacos were also amazing, the pork cheek was better than the shrimp taco in my opinion. The beef cube and pickled quince was a hearty and delicious dish! Atmosphere was chill but cool and hip

Tasty and non-obvious combinations of flavours. Perfect ajo blanco - gazpacho, unexpected surprise of esquites - try this. Really nice shrimp tacos and mint panna cotta desert. Only drawback was beer which was not cold enough 😅 but this was due to fact that they opened new barrel

Wow - this was a totally accidental find but we absolutely LOVED the food. Eclectic menu with foods from across the world. We had approx six dishes between four of us and they were all absolutely phenomenal. Good value for money and friendly staff. Can't wait to come back here if we ever return to Lisbon - worth a visit back for this alone perhaps!

They have a revolving menu which I appreciate. The cod cakes were wonderful as was the fried plantain. The best was a white gazpacho that just blew our minds it was so good. Fried fish sandwich was fine, but nothing special. Good service and good ambiance.

    - For the food : everything is delicious , especially the shrimp tacos , I recommend taking the homemade fuccacia for starters with the goat cheese. - For the service : waiters kind and polite , quick service as we like. You have to reserve/ book a table a day in advance maybe, in season time. ----> Overall : I recommend, the food is good , the service is perfect , and prices affordable.

Very nice tiny restaurant where you can feel the local atmosphere. Table menu with a small list of international dishes, mostly Mexican (burritos, margaritas) and Asian (Katsu Sandu), together with some local options (the Caldo Verde soup was incredible!). Very tasty and super cheap. Also the service is very kind.

Hidden gems are becoming something from the past in Lisbon, however TRINCA is one of them! It is one of those places where everything was delicious and it felt like a mini world trip during two hours, starting in mexico with delicious huarache, ceviche and tacos passing through Japan and finishing in Portugal with a Bitoque :) For the quality you get, the prices are low!! The team there is very friendly and ready to assist you in the journey when you have some doubts! I will be going a lot more often.

A lovely place juuuust off the heavily touristed Martim Moniz area, with very original Portuguese and Mexican dishes (the head chef lived in Mexico for a few years), and a solid vegetarian choice. It’s got a great atmosphere and nice decor, service is fast, friendly, and well-informed too, with Sonia in particular all too happy to walk us through a little mezcal tasting. I visited twice in a few days and tasted almost the entire menu, highlights were the on-trend katso sando (nice, thick chicken, and they actually use good bread! Scandalous, I know), the patacones with beetroot, and the huarache, latter two dishes are vegetarian and can be made vegan. Adding chimichurri sauce to the traditional Portuguese “bitoque” steak like these guys do should be mandatory. Definitely get the daily dip too. On a final note, they should bottle and sell the homemade hot sauce, I’d buy a bottle or six!

Shortly: It was amazing. I was craving for something light but delicious after a rough day and they delivered. I ordered salmorejo and feta/almond/peach/coriander sauce dish. Both were delicious with a oot of flavour, but The latter was something I have never really tasted before. On top of that I had a glass of wine and an espresso. The total bill was just under ten euros. I really recommend stopping by even if you need something small like I did.
