Kokoro Ramen Bar

Restaurant Ramen restaurant

👍👍 Among all the Japanese restaurants and ramen bars in Lisbon, this is by far the best for me when it comes to taste. The soup is flavorful. They just don’t have a lot of options for ramen and sometimes their sushis are unavailable. They also don’t seem to serve marinated eggs, just regular boiled egg... People often mention ramen, Ramen, good, noodles, taste, service, Lisbon, small, price, broth,

Good amount of toppings, noodles are okay. Condiments are at the table: garlic sauce and chili oil, nice. But ramen as a whole is a bit underwhelming, tonkotsu ramen and chicken ramen don't taste too different. The broth for tonkotsu is not what I've come to expect, it's not as silky and rich. Pardon the comparison but it reminded me of instant noodles with extra toppings.

My girlfriend and I have been eating Kokoro for several months now. I have eaten in many other Ramen restaurants in lisbon, but no one makes Ramen like Kokoro. It tastes like the food "that friend's aunt" makes. It's like music played by an orchestra of flavours. The noodles have the perfect texture and feels like what you think it should, when you see it on movies and series. It's by far our favorite restaurant in Lisbon, overall. 10 out of 10.

Small place with three Ramen dishes. One vegetarian, one with pork and one with chicken. The ramen is fresh and made there. Absolutly delicious. Prices affordable. Got ATM. Best ramen that i had in Lisbon.

I wanted to try ramen for a long time. After searching a little found this small and cozy restaurant right next to my University - and what an amazing surprise! Being a very big noodles lover I instantly fell in love for this simple yet very tasty and powerful "soup". Very rich and balanced flavours with that umami taste! Personally I recommend asking for Shoyu Ramen (Chicken Soup) with extra Pork Belly and add a little bit of garlic sauce available on the table over the pork belly and a little spice to soup itself, promise you won't be dissapointed. There are only 2 or 3 people working in here who are very sympathetic and helpful yet they don't speak very good porruguese. Will definitely be coming back here in the near future!

Cute little place. Quick service. Not expensive. The ramen was good but I feel like other nearby places have a bigger amount on the plate and taste better for around the same price.

Really good food. Showcasing that quality ver quantity is king, there's only 3 different variations of noodle soups to choose from, focusing instead on quality food, they make their own fresh noodles, making the dishes taste and feel really good. Slight catch, the amount of tables is really low, so if you want to guarantee your spot I'd recommend you to be there around 15 mins before opening time. The tables tend to fill up on the first 2 minutes after opening .

(Translated by Google) I am very disappointed with this ramen. The broth was very tasteless, the noodles could have a more "al dente" cooking (I don't know the Japanese expression 🤐) and the meat could be softer. I had to add all the sauces in the arsenal of table flavors to save the meal. There was also something weird: the extra ramen I ordered came on a separate plate (instead of being in the ramen bowl) - this does not detract from the ramen (?) Tea could have come from the kitchen without the Tetley bag, at least for giving the illusion that had been taken from a mega pot that had been used an infusion of tea. I am also disappointed to have arrived and have the door locked because they were full. Not a "good night, just wait a moment please". Everyone waiting had to agree to know the order of the line. On the other hand, it is very cheap.

Good price quality ramen, they lack more choices but they say it's for investing more in the pasta. Also you have the risk of getting a line. So arrive soon!

Ordered the vegetarian ramen and was actually a little disappointed. I'll start with the good. The ingredients were indeed fresh and the spring onions and corn were sweet and crunchy. The egg, even though not premarinated in soy sauce before, had the right texture and was well cooked. However, the noodles were sadly soggy and not salty, and tended to clump together, and the soup tasted more like curry powder added into hot water. Good effort but definitely needs some minor tweaks that could really go a long way!

Unique and genuine small place. Tables are too close and can get noisy. Great quality and price. I would recommend going on a working day and in small groups.

Best tasting Ramen in Lisbon for me. Although service was not the quickest; order at 7.36pm as 2nd customer and didn't get food till after 7.50pm. But it was worth the wait!

We pick this because ramen is the sole dish offered instead of wide range of choice (and in Japan it usually means the ramen is professional). It turns out the taste match our expectations. Ramen texture & soap very Japanese style 🥰. (Way of cooking pork more Chinese way though) Just that the portion is bit small, compared to other restaurants in the city. This may be the reason why we were the only customers at the time.

I ate the shoyu ramen. The broth….. wow simply delicious! Gorgeous! One of the only places in Lisbon where the broth is similar to the ones I’ve had in Japan. Definitely recommend.

(Translated by Google) Great expectation, waste of time. Restaurant with good presentation but very small. Easily fills, which requires waiting time. Inexperienced staff, there is no preparation to inform or organize a waiting list. Clients stand in the street, and the door is locked to preserve the inside from the accumulated clutter outside, and staff avoid utterly communicating with those who despair in line. By 12:20, 20 minutes after opening, there were already five people waiting in line (on the street), and the employee indicated that it would take another 30 minutes. Ramen is a fast cooking and eating dish, at least in Japan. A pity, since the house is reputed (undeserved?) To serve good food.

They speacialize in three types of Ramen. They are all tasty. It has the best meat they put in a Ramen in Lisbon. Noodles are decent and the could do a better job on the soup. Its a pretty standard ramen place with no particular theme on decoration. It could do better service if they provided an atm payment option instead of only cash. Staff is nice though

We've been going to this restaurant for 7+ years and its always great. The food is perfect and it's much better to eat at the restaurant than order in. For us it's the best ramen in Lisbon, others are either too artificial or have too much fat. The cook and owner has done several courses on how to make ramen in Japan, and it certainly shows. The service is always accompanied with smiles and the spot is very cozy with a lot of wood everywhere.

(Translated by Google) The best Ramen I have experienced in Lisbon; the broth was tasty, the noodles excellent and with the right consistency. A couple of notes: I took the Tonkatsu ramen and the meat was definitely too hard. Also be careful with the spicy that is left on the table .. I who am a lover with half a teaspoon was already watering .. dose it well to not cover the flavor of the broth which is excellent! However, it remains the best and most authentic I've tried in the city.

(Translated by Google) Exaggerated waiting time (approximately 45 minutes), and employees did not warn people on hold that there was no longer one of the 3 (three) dishes they serve, one hour after the opening. If 10 or 15 options were served, it would be expected that two or three would be sold out, now an hour after the kitchen opened, 33% of the menu was sold out. Anyway. In addition to not respecting the order of arrival, they lock the door so that outsiders cannot enter either to go to the bathroom or buy a drink. After all this, they refused to present a complaints book, having only "magicado" the book from under the box (they claimed not to have a book, not knowing where it is, not knowing what we were asking for, etc.) after a threat that we would call the police (It is illegal for an establishment to have no complaints book, and it is a crime not to present it to customers for whatever reason). Legally, many legal posters were missing from the restaurant's window (regulatory body, legal notice of alcoholic beverages, allergen warning, ATM / credit card availability). Finally, an experience that was marked by the lack of professionalism of the staff. I couldn't taste the noodles, but after this meeting, I don't feel like it or want to taste it.

(Translated by Google) Good value for money at tonkotsu ramen (the only one worth it) Quality and diversity of ingredients is not the best, but worth it for the base (the broth) and the noodles (made right on site). It's worth the visit, but if you don't want to wait it's better to go around noon because the place is (very) small. Update 3 January 2020: The noodles, which were a good part of this ramen's charm, seemed commercial to me, not the ones originally made on the spot. I might drop the grade 1 point, but I still kept the grade because the ramen really knew me!

Ok place with fair ramen- had to add shoyu to the broth for it to taste better - thankfully they have chili oil and garlic oil ok the table - otherwise this would have been the least flavorful ramen I’ve had. If you’re in Lisboa I guess it is a good try.
