Taco Locoo

Restaurant

👍👍 Probably the best Mexican restaurant in Lisbon, it has a good space and it is not usually packed with people which is good, you can eat your meal comfortably while in other Mexican restaurants are usually full and noisy. They have a good menu, good variety of options and the chimichanga and quesadi... People often mention good, Mexican, service, tasty, Lisbon, great, delicious,

The food is delicious. The shrimp Fajitas is very tasty. It has a strong flavor and the vegetables and sauce is so good. I was sitting outside so the outdoor seating is very small, bit too small. The staff is very nice. They are a bit busy but the food doesn't take long to come out.

Ordered beef taco, but we received chicken. We didn't complain since we were so hungry. But it was still sosososo good. On the weekend they get quiet busy and booking might be necessary. We ordered hard shell taco, slow cooked pork britto, chicken enchiladas. I liked how the main dishes were served with guacamole and sour creams. Also the salad that comes with are very lemony and tasty. I also enjoyed their chilli 🌶 sauce. Muito picante👍 overall, I would visit again.

Best Mexican food I’ve had. Ignore those reviews about authenticity, I was so surprised by how quiet this place was! The food was beautiful, the portions were substantial, and the staff were attentive.

I am LOCO for Taco Locoo! Great fajitas and burritos. The guacamole is fresh and the classic Margarita is delish! Lots of outdoor seating too. Service is quick, servers are friendly and speak English.

EDIT: Reply to owner's feedback We know how to behave in decent places and it's rude to say such things to the customers, seems you are not professional enough to handle complaints even. The mistake was to charge me for this imitation of sangria. I will make sure to post my feedback on every single online channel. Thank you and good luck. ----- Wrong recipes. For example they prepare sangria without wine - they put very sweet, not natural, cheapest orange juice instead and then add tequila, rum and whiskey. Plus fruit peels (looked like eaten fruits). As a result horrible chemical taste. Michelado we refused to drink and pay as it was already looking wrong. They charged us 14 euro for this "sangria", i would not charge for this after such complaints, they are fooling customers. The waitress was rude as she was shouting at us when we complained about "sangria". I'm wondering how do they get such high rating on google, probably fake reviews. Never go there, it's a touristic trap.

Food and service was good. Book your table for dinner as early as you can. Service tends to get really slow when it’s getting late and when they’re already full. But overall it was still a good experience because me and my husband really enjoyed our food & drinks.

As Mexican restaurants go (outside of Mexico) this was a really enjoyable experience. The food was freshly prepared, and very very tasty. The staff were a delight, and couldn't do any more to improve service. They clearly have a passion for what they do, which shows. We enjoyed ribs and quesadillas to start, then tacos and enchiladas for the mains. It was almost too much food, but we managed 🤣. We also had a couple of delicious mojitos. A very nice change to the usual fare here.

good - quesadillas were a great option for both starter and main - taste of the pastor tacos were good - the mojito had a good dose of rum could be better - could have 1 more staff member, service becomes slow when it's full - tacos were kind of cold, probably microwave is used to warm up the prepared meat - pastor was no longer available when we wanted to order it again - price is a bit high for the value you get, we didn't feel completely satisfied after spending € 18/person ( 2 kids, only 1 mojito)

Delicious Mexican food in Lisbon! I’m from Arizona and we have some of the best Mexican food there, so I know good Mexican food when I eat it. The flavors and ingredients that Taco Locoo uses are very authentic to Mexican cuisine, very fresh, and flavorful. The classic nachos were delicious - the sour cream and guacamole were top notch! The beef burrito was so tasty as well and I loved how the cheese was melted on it as seen in my photo! I also really liked the vibe inside and the Reggaeton music playing, which made the experience even better. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Mexican food in Lisbon.

We arrived half an hour before closing time and were still served very friendly. The food was very tasty, but a bit too oily for me personally. The service was incredibly friendly and we were served excellently. In everything, a recommendation is worthy.

Taco Locoo Mexican is a fantastic place to go for delicious food and friendly service! We are so glad that we stopped by for lunch and drinks. Our burritos and quesadillas were very tasty and the local Sagres beer hit the spot. Check it out whenever you are in Lisbon. You will be glad that you did!

Went for dinner, waiters were so nice!! Food was amazing, we ordered the fajitas, everything was perfect, it was ludique as we did it ourselves and the tastes was so good!! And good last surprise: the bill!!! One of the best Mexican we tried so far. Highly recommended

Best food in Lisbon and the most friendly and dedicated staff. Spent 100€ cuz the food was so good I ate and drank for three people but if you get a normal sized meal it’s really affordable. Coming back fasho💯

We were craving Mexican food while visiting Lisbon, and this restaurant really delivered a great Mexican meal. Their chips and salsa and chips and guacamole were quite good, although a bit expensive at about €8.50 for each. Still, we enjoyed them. The main dishes, which included tacos, enchiladas and fajitas were spot on and authentic. The house margaritas are tasty, but could use an extra shot of tequila, which we did. The level of service could be a bit improved in both speed and friendliness, but it didn’t get in the way of us having an enjoyable evening. Give them a try. If you love Mexican food, you’ll enjoy lunch or dinner here.
