Great little restaurant run by a very friendly husband and wife team. We had the daily special €7.50, soup, salad, and choice of toast. Super yummy! Outdoor seating available.

This place is exceptional! Incredibly authentic tapas from the Guarda district of Portugal & delicious Duro wines. Pedro and his amazing wife are quite simply the best hosts anyone, anywhere could hope for!! Truly among the most Portuguese experiences you can ever have - sublime food & wine, together with the best of company.

The hospitality of the owners and the food just amazed us. We felt we are just visiting our distant relatives in Portugal. Everything was delicious, the cheese, the ham, the apple strudel, everything. A true little gem in Lisboa.

We had an absolutely lovely dinner here. The owners are a delightful couple, the husband attended our table and the wife cooked the meal, all the while exchanging highly enjoyable moments with each other, and with us. The food was impeccable and the wine suggestions were perfection. Do not miss this place!

We were looking for a small, authentic, sans chichi tapas restaurant serving local specialties. We couldn't have hoped for better than Sonia and Pedro's bistro. The welcome is warm, the cuisine and local products of excellent quality and delicious and the prices reasonable. The place is also very quiet far from the touristic area. In short, I highly recommend this place.

We arrived to the place hearing it was great but it surpassed our expectations. The food was amazing, they even tell you the origin of the many amazing cheeses and meats you can try. Not to mention that the people that run it are the kindest and most welcoming family. Overall a great experience.

One of the best traditional restaurant i've ever tried in my life, the real portuguese cuisine, the foods were amazing, all the dish has got its unique taste and the quality of the ingredients was really really goods. The owners are a Portuguese couple so gentle and kind, they made me and my girlfriend very comfortable helping us with our journey. One of the coziest place experienced here in Lisbon.

Just like someone else said, if I lived in Lisbon, this would be my go-to place. Food is delicious and locally sourced, and Pedro and Sonia are sooo nice and hospitable, giving great recommendations and over all nice vibes. Totally recommend for a feel-good lunch, and you can even purchase some of the items you eat if you like them (sausages, cheese, ham)

This was a small shop with no frills, but everything was delicious. The owners are a husband and wife and are the only 2 running the shop. He gave us a great explanation of the menu and let us try all of the wines they had. Super friendly and excited to share their food with us. Everything was local or homemade. The pepper jam was a favorite of ours and the cheeses were all delicious. Highly recommended to give them a try!

The owner serves you with real pleasure. The specialities are toast with sausages, a local delicacy. The starter dish, a plate with different kinds of ham and cheese is also very tasteful. Whe also loved the white whine.

This little restaurant, located on the edge of a market close to the Alameda metro, became my favourite during my visit to Lisbon. Run by a lovely couple who serve great food with a smile, talk their guests through their menu and their tapas plates which they have a passion for.

Very cozy and traditional atmosphere for this couple-owned restaurant. We experienced several traditional products from the northern regions of Portugal, such as a delicious selection of cold cuts, sausages and meat puddings. For dessert we got an apple strudel which was handmade by one of the owners. Bonus points for the preparedness of the owners about their products, their kindness and sense of feeling at home. Totally recommended!

What a great place with the greatest hosts! We've been in Lisbon just for a couple of hours and spent it eating dinner here - it was trully worth it. I will for sure recommend it to anyone who's visiting Lisbon.

Absolutely a beautiful experience. Run by a husband/ wife team, we had a very nice wine with a selection of tapas. Oversized portions were perfect for sharing. We dined outside and were able to take in the evening. A definite 2 thumbs up, highly recommend.

We came here looking for a Portuguese food experience, and it didn't disappoint! All the products they serve are from the Estrela region of Portugal, and they are delicious! My favourites were the melty sheep cheese on toast and the crispy chorizo with chilli jam. My partner and I were simply blissed out on the wholesome, tasty food. Bonus points for it being a small family business with very friendly people. Extra bonus points for being able to buy jars of the chilli jam. Amazing stuff.

We've visited this place with my gf on her birthday 18-th November this year. And it was amazing service and tasty ham and cheese from Pedro and his wife. That's exactly what you need late evening in Lisbon.

Pedro and Sonja - the owners of this beautiful small restaurant - are just the greatest hosts you can imagine! The food is simple yet outstanding! Service is great and guides you through the menu, giving various recommendations. Great place for both a quick solo lunch or a tapas style dinner with a group of friends. We recommend to try the chease platter with jam of red peppers! Also, the toasts with chorizo are great! We look forward to our next visit and can't wait to come back to what feels like family!

This place is amazing! I highly recommend visiting. The goat cheese, red pepper jam toastie was my favorite! I can’t recommend this place enough. Pedro and his wife were so kind. The wine section is also amazing! Our only complaint was they weren’t opened on Monday so we could go back before heading home! Only joking - they deserve a day of rest too!
