Very Lovely restaurant with Gourmet pizza!! If you are looking for a decent pizza made with Love I recommend this place!! They have other Italian food items on the menu such as Appetizers and Pastas. The staff is super friendly and accommodating!! it’s a very welcoming Ambience!! You can also custom make your own pizza which they are more than happy to accommodate to your personal taste. The place is quite busy so I definitely recommend making a booking. surprisingly, the prices are very good for a High Quality Pizza. The Dough is very fluffy and soft!! I heard they won a European Pizza Award last year, and that’s one of the reasons we decided to try this place!! They also surprised us with a small candle lit chocolate cake for our Birthday Dinner!! Extremely Generous and welcoming!! Thank you so much for a lovely experience!! Absolutely recommended!!

Neapolitan pizza at its best! Friendly but not too pushy staff, nice atmosphere, good location and awesome food! The beef carpaccio as a starter were beautifully decorated, and the bresaola pizza was perfectly made. Voted as one of the best pizza places in the world for a good reason.

The most delicious Italian food I ever had. They make everything by the book and it really exceeded our expectations. Staff are very welcoming and well mannered. The place is a bit small but it's very cozy. We didn't have a reservation because we didn't know that groups of 4 needed it but they managed to fit us in without disturbing anyone. Prices are high for some items but they're worth it. We're super satisfied with our experience. We really appreciate their outstanding service.

Portuguese take on Neapolitan hospitality, very thin dough, small cornicione. Choice of starters and desserts is not very creative and there is a lack of fried pizza. Lovely interiors, kind of smart casual vibes. The sausage & watercress pizza is clearly inspired by salsiccia&friarielli, with the addition of tomato sauce. Pizza was good but the sausage bites not very flavourful. Complimentary shot of port wine at the end of the meal. Bookings are essential: the restaurant was packed with people queuing on Friday night, and already half full within 15 minutes from opening for Sat lunch service. Prices are reasonable for this quality, card machine is at the back, near the oven.

The food here is excellent, and despite not having a reservation I didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The pizza is among the best I've ever had and the pairing with beer was perfect. They even brought out a bucket of ice to keep it cool. When I was done they even brought me a complimentary glass of port wine. That's great service for you! The place is a bit on the expensive side but the food, ambience and excellence of the staff makes it all worth it!

‼️in general ⭐⭐⭐⭐ very good pizza, kinda packed inside but well furnished. 🍕 pizza ⭐⭐⭐⭐ the pizza was enough for one person, it was well topped and the prices are fair (12.5€~). What kept me from giving 5 ⭐, was the dough, the border was not as i was expecting from a napolitan pizza, kinda small and too dense. 🍺 beer ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for being a pizzeria they offer a impressive quantity of beers, from all over the world, every one of them is a piece of perfection! 4⭐ because of the price, 6-8€~ for a beer is a lot, but well it's possible to do so once every a while. 👥 staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ very gentle, always ready to come for any request, professional and well dressed. 🛋️ ⭐⭐⭐ here i have contradictory feelings, too much people for the space, you feel very constipated but it was lovely furnished.

Last weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to dine at Forno de Oro restaurant. To be honest, even with the restaurant's numerous pizza awards, I wasn't sure or confident that it was going to surprise me. Well, to my pleasant, the pizza turned out to be absolutely amazing and truly reminiscent of an authentic Italian pizza 😍 The tomato sauce was incredibly fresh, and the dough was light and flavorful. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as this tends to get busy. Additionally, the prices are fair and reasonable. 🙃

I recently dined at this place that exceeded my expectations. The pizza dough was exceptionally soft and light, creating a delightful texture. I particularly enjoyed the Bresaola pizza with figs—it was truly amazing. The margarita pizza was also great, with delicious flavors. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. To top it off, their cheesecake was mind-blowing, with a perfect blend of flavors. If you're a pizza lover looking for an outstanding dining experience, this restaurant is a must-try.

Tasty Pizza for a fair price in the heart of Lisbon. Thanks to 50toppizza I came across Forno d'Oro. First of I all I recommend to reserve a seat there to avoid queueing. We arrived on time and got our table next to the beautiful Pizza Oven. The Service at the restaurant is very good. The waiter offers Foccacia and Bruschetta at the very beginning. It is tasty and for around 1,50€ per person super cheap. The menu for Pizza is quite big and there is a focus on variations of Ham. Even a Burrata Pizza with Gold is on the menu. As usual we picked the Margherita to taste the quality and one "special". The non-standard this time was the so called Transmontana which contained 4 different kind of Mushrooms. Both Pizzas came quite fast. The Margherita was a bit hotter than the Transmontana. It is a classical Neapolitan Style Pizza without a mega fluffy outer part. The tomato sauce is very Tasty and the fior di latte is fresh. The mixture of both on the Margherita was really wonderful. The Transmontana was a bit "flat" taste wise, as the mushrooms it self don't have much of a flavor. The Pizzas are baked in a wood fired oven. The Pizzaiolo is doing a great job, as you get a wood fired aroma without a burned Pizza. It had a nice leoparding but no burned spots. All in all I can recommend Forno d'Oro if you're in Lisbon. It's a great Pizza for a very reasonful price.

The food was delicious. My party of 3 got very lucky as a walk in on this busy Wednesday night in February. We quickly learned why the restaurant was full. The food speaks for itself. We ordered three pasta dishes and a pizza to share. Plates were empty by the time we were all done.

One of the best pizzas and tiramisu I've ever tasted. Incredible service and staff, specially Mr. Vasco! Same level (or even above) plenty of pizzarias I've visited across Europe (in Italy and other places granted with Top 50 Europe award).

Quite possibly the best Margarita pizza I've had. The crust is so light and soft and yet the sauce is so full of flavor. Incredibly done. Staff is friendly and pleasant to interact with as well. All meals even come with a complimentary serving of Port Wine at the end. The place is more upscale than I was expecting. You'd better have a reservation if you're coming during a busy night.

Let me go straight to the point... People come here to eat! You heard me!! An Italian cuisine restaurant and people come here to eat, mainly to eat. Not because it has atmosphere and nice decor ( which it does have.. nice, simple, bright, warm), not because it will dazzle you with spectacular views (which it doesn't have), it simply magnetizes you with amazing Italian food. To go over the specifics, from start to finish, we had the bruschetta with tomato and basil, tried three different pizza and three different deserts, all is quite excellent but I would point out the amazing pizza dough which was absolutely perfect with incredible stretchiness, it was my best pizza ever... and yes, I have been to Italy! The food is great here, and so are the drinks. With a wide selection of competent wines and beers, you will definitely find the appropriate liquid to complement your food.. and mood. 😊 Worry not about not about how you are welcomed and served, everyone has been super nice, and although your time on the table is finite, you don't feel pressure or rushed. Do worry about getting a reservation as it is not a large space, so the place is always full.. always. I watched many faces there, young faces, old faces, friends or family faces, even someone alone just enjoying a fine meal, I bet if you are someone who truly appreciates food, you'll be one of the faces there, I highly recommend it. 😉

One of the best pizzerias in Portugal! It’s usually very full. Absolutely get a reservation! They cook their pizzas in 70 seconds. The pizza is the best fresh. Don’t order for takeout if you’re far from the restaurant.

Not much to see from the outside, but it's a wonderful restaurant serving excellent pizza and pasta. Great beer selection including draught wheat beer. Friendly and helpful staff make the meal a pleasure.

Very tasty pizzas, nice selection of beer, great service (very friendly and polite), and nice atmosphere. I also enjoyed the fact they offer pizzas with Portuguese ingredients, which is not typical but they are definitely a welcome addition. I can only recommend the place, but make sure to book before you go, since the place isn't very big and it is a popular pizza restaurant.

We stumbled upon this delightful pizza place during our visit to the city, and it quickly became our top choice. What sets it apart is its exceptional service and inviting ambiance. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the pizza – it's simply outstanding. Each bite is a perfect balance of lightness and rich, satisfying flavor. I've tried many pizzas in my lifetime, but this one stands out as one of the best. What's impressive is the speed at which our orders were delivered to our table without compromising on quality. I must admit, our initial impression was slightly marred by a faint smell of bleach when we arrived at the restaurant's opening time for dinner. However, this concern quickly dissipated as the enticing aroma of fresh dough and ingredients enveloped the air, courtesy of the pizzas being baked right next to our table. It was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to freshness and quality. In summary, I highly recommend this place, especially if you appreciate impeccable service and authentic Italian cuisine, particularly the Napoletan style of pizza. It's a culinary gem waiting to be discovered.

I had read that this was top 10 in the world for pizza… it absolutely lived up to the hype! The truffle pizza was the best I ever had. The tiramisu was amazing as well. Make sure you make a reservation, as it’s small and books up quickly

Thoroughly exceeded my expectations. The pizza dough was exceptionally soft and light, so moreish! The Bresaola pizza with figs—it was truly amazing.OMG! The bruschetta was amazing, yeah everything was amazing. Such an amazing combination in flavours and definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time! The margarita pizza was also great, with delicious flavours the kids absolutely loved it they ordered another one to share! The service by the staff was spot although we didn’t have dessert. They offered us a free shot after dinner - we had lemoncello - sublime! this restaurant is a must-try.

The overall experience was really nice. Delightful food and very kind service. The only caviar could be the dessert(chocolate tartufo), which did not amaze us. Definitely worth the visit

Make a reservation ahead of time, or plan to order take out otherwise I promise you will not get in! And we dined on a weeknight for two. My husband and I love to look for upscale pizza (or locally prepared and inspired) when we travel. I am glad I found this restaurant ahead of time and made a reservation. Dining for dinner doesn't typically open until 7:00pm. We were seated right away with a reservation. The restaurant itself is small, and seating is close, but this I found to be very standard for European dining. In all honesty, you hardly notice how close you are to others, but it also helps to look and see some of the food options if you like to see food prepared before ordering! It did help us determine how many pizzas to order. We tried two new to us pizzas and started with bruschetta. The bruschetta was amazing, would 10/10 recommend. And please don't skip out on dessert, you won't be disappointed. Our waitress was so incredibly helpful and patient with us as we ordered. She did speak English which was helpful. This restaurant was a great, romantic date night location. There is a narrow set of stairs that leads into the restaurant from the street, just a note on wheelchair accessibility.

The food is really nice! Loved the pizza and tiramisu, but above all the service and staff are 10/10. For sure it’s the best service I had in Portugal so far!

Loved it! Staff was amazing! One of the best pizzas I have ever had! Very light for neapolitan pizza. We tried the burrata with cherry tomatoes and Terra Fria. Both were delicious!

This is my second to be here. This time was for dinner. Luckily can book a table on the date of dinning. The restaurant was full house during my visit. This proved how good the food were. After a simple starter, enjoyed two very good pizza and a pasta. Finished with three dessert. All taste were more than expected.

Great place if you like Neapolitan pizzas with a light and crunchy crust 🍕🙌 Has all the Italian classics (we took capriciosa and salame), but also local jewels with alheira (Portuguese sausage with meat and bread), which is a great concept!! Make sure to book your seat, as we tried to just walk in the first time and it was fully booked.

The pizza with mortadella and truffles is just divine. Very unusual combination but it works. We were a party of four and ordered different pizzas, all good. But mine is exceptional! The crust is thin and chewy and comes out of oven hot and fresh.

Best Pizza in all Lisbon. The place was beautiful and the food was amazing. They even split our pizza toppings which was so considerate. The place is worth a visit when staying in Lisbon.

  • 5/5 Niaz S. 2 years ago on Google
Clearly a place to go! A restaurant not only on the top 50 of pizzerias in Europe but also certified by the Associazone Verace Pizza Napoletana. Everything was delicious and tasteful! The place is nicely decorated and staff is friendly. We recommend you to book in advance.

  • 5/5 Sergio B. 6 months ago on Google
As expected by the awards they've won and experience with other places from the same owner, the pizzas I tried were excellent and the gamut of choice and quality of ingredients was very good. I can't say it's my favorite pizza in Lisbon, though, which really says a lot about how far we've come in this city. The service was very attentive and pleasant and the prices are higher than normal but fair for the place. Only note is the excessive communication before and after our booking, too many reminders of the booking and asking to review. Also, don't mistake 'house bruschetta' with 'bruschetta on the house', because you definitely pay for it :)

  • 5/5 Janet S. 1 month ago on Google • 2 reviews New
The pizza deserves all the hype - so good! -along with the tiramisu and the selection of local wines. Our waiters, Lokraj and Nelson, were absolutely excellent, with great suggestions and friendly, attentive service. 5 stars all around!
