This place is fantastic and delicious! We had a great time here and the place is so full of life including the staff and owners. The entrance is easy to miss but if you arrive before they open (as we did) there is a very small placard (see one of the photos) to know where the entrance is. There is no number on the door so it’s hard to spot at first but it’s where Google Maps had placed it along with the placard. Everything was delicious and well worth a visit if your plant-based or not.

The best vegan restaurant in Lisbon. I am OBSESSED with this place. It's always the highlight of my week when I know I'm going to see my Horácio Trattoria family. It's such a cosy little spot and all the staff are so positive and friendly make you feel so welcome. They make everything from scratch and the attention to detail is unbelievable . The first time I went with my boyfriend we barely talked throughout the whole meal as we were in awe of how good the food was. Everything is bursting with flavour. Even all the non-vegans I bring here love it! I want a Horácio Trattoria on my side of Lisbon so I can eat here weekly! If I could give more stars I would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a late night cruise stop in port in Lisbon and as Al Sanpietrino was literally across the road from the cruise terminal we booked a table as soon as they opened. They take bookings only and it's only cash for those who don't have Portuguese credit cards. The chef is Alex and front of house is Kazia. It's a beautiful cosy place inside but don't be put off as from the front before they open It's basically a door on a cobbled street and we thought we'd gone to the wrong place. The food is all Italian as Alex is from Piemonte and has links to Sicily. The food was amazing, we had bruschetta and tofish alla Siciliana , spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti pomodoro and if there is one dish you have to try it's the tiramisu. We could not fault the whole experience. Kazia was so friendly and we shouted through the kitchen door backing onto the street as we left to tell Alex how wonderful the food was. Not to be missed in Lisbon.

I came here after more than one year and my experience was completely different from the other times, that's why I changed drastically the review. We didn't like the lasagna, for the texture it was so dry that it seemed a block (there was just a tiny tiny spoon of beshamel on top but it was super dry anyway) and for the taste because it was not that flavored. After we tried the "carbonara" and it was tasting ANYTHING ELSE than a "carbonara". It was tasking like oat milk (?) and there were these big chuncks of smoked seitan (?) very unpleasantable. Zero black salt for the egg flavour perceived. I must say that it was hard to finish it. At the end, we tried the tiramisu, but i wouldn't call it tiramisu because there was no coffee flavour, not enough cream. Instead, it was a dessert with lotus biscuits with tiny bit of cream and cacau on top. But not vegan tiramisu. Regarding the service it was very slow, after the appetizer we waited minum 40 minutes for the main dishes

If you do one thing in Lisbon, please make sure you visit this restaurant!!! I think I’m officially now calling it my favourite restaurant I’ve ever been to. Firstly the restaurant itself is just so cute, romantic, authentic, intimate, but also really homely. It is a little hard to find but once you enter, it is like a totally private intimate dinner setting - completely transporting you to another place. Because there are only a few tables there, please make sure you book in advance as they get booked up quickly! The menu looked so incredible and it was really hard to choose. Everything we ordered beyond surpassed our expectations. We tried the fondue, lasagna, carbonara and tiramisu. All were INCREDIBLE! I wish we could try everything, honestly it was all so incredibly tasty but also very authentic tasting too. We learnt that the restaurant was managed, owned and run by a couple. Their story is beautiful and made the experience that much more special! The chef was taught by his Italian mum and has done such a huge service to creating and honouring incredible, authentic Italian food. And he even makes it vegan with absolutely no compromise on anything (in fact I’d argue it’s even better 😉) The service was so good too, and we felt so comfortable the whole time. I’m so glad to have visited this beautiful incredible restaurant. I just hope everyone can try this restaurant as it really is a one of a kind experience all round. Ps my photos really really don’t do it justice as lighting was a bit dim

Truly wonderful spot run by wonderful people! The food was delicious and filling! We ordered way too much but are excited for left overs. If you are interested in a unique meal in Lisbon this is the perfect departure from typical offerings. We are excited to go back! A must try!

This week I had the opportunity to eat here. Not only the food was delicious (yes, vegan Italian food is possible!!) but also the service was AMAZING!! The owners treated us like home, they were so friendly and welcoming with us :) As I mentioned to them, they already have a couple of fans in Berlin ;)

Wow, this place is incredible! Vegan or not, you need to come here. As Italian food is traditionally so meat and dairy heavy, I had little expectation for a vegan Italian restaurant. I was delighted to be proven wrong. We had caprese, bruschetta, and aubergine parmigiana to share as a starter. I had that day’s special as my main: pappardelle bolognese. I also sneaked a taste of my boyfriend’s carbonara. Everything was bursting with flavour — some of the dishes were even better than their traditional equivalent. A must-visit in Alfama.

This was our second time visiting Al Sanpietrino Trattoria, and I couldn’t recommend it enough! This time, we sat indoors, and the atmosphere was so cozy! The menu was on point, and the tiramisu? Absolutely outstanding! If you are looking for a vegan place around Santa Apolónia, this is the place to go!

Very glad to have found this on Happy Cow. They do 2 seatings, early eve and later, 9.15pm onwards. It’s small, cosy and romantic. It’s run by 2 woman, who are clearly passionate about the restaurant and using ingredients which care for the planet/animals. It’s a great place for Vegans looking for old classics with a twist - one of the Daily specials was a Rabbit Ragu which looked good. Highly recommend to any and all, Vegan or not. It’s also in the oldest part of Lisbon , tucked away in the beautiful side streets. Off the beaten track but worth it ! Yum, cheap local wine too!

Although it’s an Italian vegan restaurant, it’s a fantastic place by any measure. The food is amazing- think handmade pasta, wonderful flavors, a good wine list,. The staff are super friendly, and the owners obviously put their heart and soul into providing a wonderful experience for all who eat here- we ate on an intimate little terrace with six tables, and there is an indoor area as well Highly recommend!!

Such a lovely place! It shows that vegan Italian food can be even better than non-vegan! The lasagna and tiramisu were a delight. The service was great and we loved the indoor area for its cozy and atmospheric vibe!

Super friendly homemade Italian vegan food. Kajsa and her husband are amazing and I’m not vegan BUT I had an amazing experience with my vegan friends.

One of my favorite italian restaurants in Lisbon (and I’m not even vegan). Most friendly service ✨ever✨. Everything is delicious. You can tell it’s made by Italians (and my Italian friends also loved it there). The ambiance is cozy, with traditional Italian music. Perfect for a romantic date 🍷

The whole experience was very special, run by two lovely people, when you first arrive you do not realise it’s a restaurant as it feels like you are entering a little apartment. You order off a menu that features all the Italian classics, we went for a Bruschetta for starters, a Tagliatelle Ragu and a Spaghetti Carbonara. We asked for a recommendation of Barollo wine which the Chef who is brimming with passion about wine and food was quick to recommend. The food was so lovely, felt like proper home cooked Italian food and the wine was spectacular. The cashew cheese on the Bruschetta was also so so good.

An absolute must! Fully vegan! Make sure to reserve a table. An amazing place with the kindest service and the most delicious food. Their vegan cheese plate is impossible to describe, so so good. Everything is prepared with so much care, love and taste. Will definitely come back!

Best dining experience of my entire life no lie. It’s so hard to vegan Italian food back home, so this was a major highlight of my trip. Owned by a cute couple who were super sweet. And the spot was so cozy and tucked away. All of the food was unreal. It’s a must visit spot!

Such a wonderful restaurant. I loved that the menu is fully vegan, and all of the dishes are vegan takes on traditional Italian food. The flavours are amazing. The pasta is so delicious, and we also tried the vegan tofu fish which was incredible. There was a lovely selection of wine The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is really cosy and cute. I really recommend anyone to visit! Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Do NOT miss this amazing vegan Italian restaurant in Lisbon. A bit difficult to find, but beyond worth it. Aside from being a super cute and cozy space, the food is unreal and the staff is lovely. Try to make a reservation and come hungry!

This is a must visit restaurant for any vegan visiting Lisbon. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere, to the service, the wine and the food. We loved the small amount of tables as it gave a great intimate feeling. The service was spectacular and the food was some of the best vegan food we had ever had. The Bruschetta and the Carbonara are must orders. A great place to eat for both vegan and non vegan. But make sure you book as there are only a small amount of tables.

This is a MUST for any Italian-food-lover and any vegan visiting lisbon. The food was delicious and we even got a free entree from the kitchen. The waiters were very friendly and the location was perfect too. I can really recommend it, one of the best Italian places I have ever been to and definitely the best vegan italian!!!

Soooooo delicious! The staff was super friendly, everything we ordered was great. even if you‘re not vegan or vegetarian - I can only recommend to eat there. The italian restaurant is very small so you should reservate in advance.

The food and ambience here are so amazing, that we would love to keep it a secret all to ourselves! We ate here twice during our recent stay in Lisbon and loved everything about it. The pastas, the sauces, and home made sorbets were fantastic. We need to go back, just to try the pizza!

going to this restaurant is always a highlight of my day. it’s super cozy and you feel like you’re sitting in a living room of an italian grandma. no matter what i ordered, it was always amazing. their pizza is to die for, i especially loved the ones with creme cheese base. the pasta is also great, i think i’ve never had better vegan lasagna. all the desserts i had were delicious as well. i love that they make everything from scratch!! their vegan cheeses are just 🤯. one night when i ate there with my boyfriend, we got to talk to the owners and theyre the nicest people. if i could give more stars i would. 12/10 experience every time.

What a wonderful place! The owners were super friendly, the food was perfect (do try the cheese platter, the cheeses are absolutely amazing!!), the pizza was stunning (sorry, the picture wont do it justice) and the atmosphere was great. If we get the chance, we will return for sure!

So so so good! My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on our last night in Lissabon. I wished we would have found this place earlier so we would have eaten there every night 😁 And I wish there was a restaurant like this where I live. The bruscetta with self made (vegan) mozeralla, self made gnocchis with bolognese and the aubergine lasagne were incredibly delicious. I bet many non vegans wouldn't have noticed the bolognese or aubergine lasagne is vegan. The tiramisu was an absolute hit as well. The staff is super kind and communicative. They made us feel very welcome. We sat outside on the patio. I think the place indoor is rather small. Make a reservation in advance. I highly recommend this place!

This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Lisbon. The staff is extremely friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and very Italian. But the food is the biggest highlight, every single dish that I have ever ordered has surprised me. It brings you comfort, joy and it’s so tasty. I recommend it to everyone ;)

Without a doubt my new favourite place in Lisbon! Real Italian dishes made with such incredible love and care whilst everything is plant based! Even the “mozzarella” is better than real mozzarella and home made too. The service is impeccable, kind and patient (even with someone like myself, who was begging for a chocolate dessert when they didn’t have one :D Nevertheless, the blueberry cake was so delicious, I wanted a second portion, except it had sold out!!!). Our group will definitely be regulars - already planning our next visit, hopefully next week!!! :)

Splendid. Easily a stand out meal in Lisbon. The menu was well crafted and the variety made it fun to select something. Everything tastes like it was cooked in Italy and magically arrived to our gorgeous terrace table piping hot. The location is so romantic and private,it felt like escapism. I loved everything. Baci!

I’m so glad we found this place. We had a lovely evening and enjoyed everything about it. The food was delicious, the place is beautiful and the owners themselves were awesome as well. I recommend you try as much as possible and maybe share the food if you come in a group of two or more. Thanks!

You need to go here!!! This awesome restaurant is run by such a cute couple. They just changed the menu and we tried many dishes! The carbonara, the vegan cheese selection and the tiramisu are out of this world. You can’t tell it’s vegan. Recommended to make a reservation before you go. Thanks for the great dinner!
