Awesome views, relaxed atmosphere, kind staff and great food. Those are the keywords to describe Atalho Real. Even the old fashioned I ordered before the food was good. I like how welcoming they were, but I guess it’s a Portuguese thing who probably are the kindest people in Europe in my opinion. Don’t forget to book a table as the good spots get reserved pretty fast.

Great place. Make reservations if you can, but not strictly necessary. The sausage was probably the best I've ever had. Atmosphere and breeze were really nice. Our waitress (Taixas?) was really nice as well.

Wow! Extremely relaxed and very great price-value relation. Steak Filet Sandwich was really one of the best I ever had. Cocktails and service is great. Perfect for baby’s to crawl on the (fake) Gras. Baby changing room at the restrooms. Try it!

Great steak which were perfectly cooked, large portions of sides, wedges rice and coleslaw all very good. Just found the room to be a bit sparse and quite cold (During an early March visit) leading to an atmosphere which was not conducive to lingering.

Wow! Came here for Valentine’s Day. Everything about this restaurant was amazing. Service was absolutely brilliant! Had a rose presented at the table which was a nice touch. The special Valentine’s menu was amazing and for a very acceptable price (€80 for 2). Definitely a memorable experience!

This place was amazing! Trendy spot located in the basement of a builing. Id definitley return on my next visit for sure. We had the garlic bread, carpaccio salad, rib eye steaks, carob cake and apple crumb. Everything was delicious, including the house cocktail! Just please try the Rib Eye, it was cooked to perfection!

A lovely setting eating in the garden of this restaurant, was served by really friendly staff, a really relaxed atmosphere. Whilst the service was a little bit slow the food more than made up for it. All the food was lovely from the melted cheese starter through to the steak. Steak was really succulent and juicy cooked to perfection. Was really surprised by the bill so much less than I thought it would be. My son has already recommended this place to his flat mate for when his family visit Lisbon and I am looking to coming back when we next visit.

Best steak in my life! Their wagyu beef worth every penny, and they are served with delicious side dishes. The staff is kind, funny and welcoming! Highly recommended!

The food was decent, but unfortunately, the cooking points were not prepared as requested. As a meat-focused restaurant, it is important to be able to satisfy customers' preferences. However, only one dish was cooked medium rare as requested. Our burgers took a loooong time to reach us, over an hour - gladly we weren't in a hurry. On the bright side, the sandwiches ordered for the kids were well presented and the pica pau dish was very flavorful, with warm bread and delicious sauce.

Moin Moin Wir waren zu viert zum Abendessen in diesem Restaurant. Das Restaurant ist in einem sehr schönen alten barocken Haus untergebracht im Erdgeschoss. Zusätzlich gibt es eine sehr schöne Große Terrasse im Vorgarten des Restaurant absolut einladend auch gibt es eine großen Tresen direkt auf der Terrasse deshalb kommen die Getränke sehr schnell und sehr gut gekühlt an den Tisch. Der Service sehr nett freundlich und professionell mit sehr guter Schulung zur Fragen die wir zum wein und zum Essen hatten. Ambiente sehr gut wie schon gesagt. Zum Essen: Wir hatten Vorspeise und Hauptgerichte bestellt. Alles war sehr gut zubereitet frisch und sehr lecker sehr gut gewürzt. Auch gab es einen Burger aus Steak Fleisch Hackfleisch der alles andere als ein normaler Burger war. Rindersteak Lammkoteletts und das Entrecote absolut zart und saftig sehr gut zubereitet. Wer Steak essen möchte oder leckere Fleisch Gerichte ist hier genau richtig. Preisleistung absolut okay für die Qualität die hier geboten wird. Wir saßen übrigens auf der Terrasse da es sehr warm noch war am Abend. Wer in Lissabon besucht sollte dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall ein besucht abstatten. Wir empfehlen es weiter. Top weiter so.

Great little steakhouse in the basement of a large building. The food was mostly delicious but the dessert was a bit lackluster. The potato wedges and garlic bread were fantastic! The steak was nicely done. The Apple crumble was soggy. The service was very slow even by Portuguese standards, but they were very nice. Things seemed a little run down and rickety so I felt that detracted from the experience.

The food is nothing short of amazing!!! I loved everything I ate here. I cleaned my plate! The prices are very reasonable. I ordered the ribeye but I’d opt for the tomahawk if I go back again. Service was also excellent.

If you want to eat amazing picanha this is definitely the place. They also offer many other varieties of prime meat cuts. Portions come with two very big sides also very tasty.

We ate here on New Year's Eve with friends, and it was a set menu. That said, one of our group had an allergy, so they did change the starter for them. The Starter's were excellent, and the main course (2 different steaks) was by far the best steak that we had in 2023. Our only critique would be the furnishings. Some might consider it shabby chic, we just thought it was shabby and in need of replacement. We would certainly eat there again.

The food was excellent for sure. We loved our cuts and the fried potatoes and aioli were great. Dessert of apple crumble was very good as was our wine. The ambience was really nice, despite a few kids running around. It's a beautiful location. The service can be improved. Our server was inattentive. We had better service from other waiters. We asked for the check and waited 15 min at least. We asked the host and he said our server will get it in a quite rude tone. Finally we got it. Then we tried paying and had cash in hand ready for the bill when it came. He walked away and we waited another 10 min. Finally we put exact change and left. It really messed up our nice meal. They had a line of people waiting for a table so you'd think they'd want turn over. I also emailed the restaurant weeks before the reservation as it was my husband's birthday dinner and they said they'd do a special dessert as a surprise to celebrate. Nothing was brought out and we were charged for what we ordered. I didn't feel like wasting anymore time so we just left.

Great experience. We came around 8pm on a Thursday, we didn't have a booking but there was space for us. We had a hilarious waiter Pedro. The menu is very affordable you can choose 200g of different meats and 2 sides dishes for 17-23€. They also have larger and finer cuts of beef like tomahawk if you prefer.The meat was really well cooked and seasoned. Get the potato wedges, they were amazing. The coleslaw was pretty good too. I also got garlic bread which I liked. Drinks are pretty affordable too.

I’ve been to Lisbon twice and eaten here three times. The food is amazing and extremely good value. The wait staff is very friendly and happy to make recommendations.

Where to start, unfortunately the service was so slow, both for drinks and food. It did feel we were a little forgotten at one point. Once we made the order the starters did come out quickly, however when the food came out, 2 had to be returned to the kitchen as the steak was very over cooked and dry. The service really put a downer on the experience, trying to get additional drinks through the meal was just difficult and acted the experience. Looking at reviews I am wondering whether service would be better during the day when things were a little quieter. I would recommend checking the bill, we got over charged for some wine, however when questioned with the waiter he resolved straight away. Would I go here again (it is the second time)... I now think I would try elsewhere first before revisiting 🙁

One of my must-go-to places everytime I visit Lisbon. Very nice dry-aged rib-eye, nice garden (to eat in), very friendly staff, nice vibe and one of my favourite restaurants. Been here four times now and can’t wait for my fifth visit. Everyone I’ve taken to this place loved it.

I would have given this stars but the service is not great. Food was very good. Our order got lost and at one point they brought the check before we even ate! All tables next to us came after and left before we were served. Our apology was a glass of wine.

If you're Dutch and used to Dutch prized restaurants then this one is definitely cheap. Great quality for the burgers, good service and friendly staff. For the people who like to eat outside, I recommend to reservate a place outside. Really nice energy at the restaurant!!

we got a nice table outdoors, perfect for the nice weather. our waiter recommended the Wagyu platter (3 meats for 75€) and it was great!! we enjoyed the steak tremendously. the provolone cheese & beef croquettes were great starters too, and we enjoyed the apple crumble for dessert.

Fantastic steaks - service was amazing - all the team went out of their way to ensure an unforgettable dining experience. The tomahawk was cooked to perfection and my significant other had the fillet which melted in her mouth. Really worth checking out this restaurant if steak is your thing! Will return.

We LOVED this meal. The atmosphere is beautiful. The food is delicious. The service is efficient and super kind. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next night. We may even return one last time before leaving Lisbon. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place and beautiful meats! Sat outside and we were a little cold, but they have blankets. The cheese appetizer, provolone, was fire! Drinks too…. Wine delicious recommendation, the gin and tonics fabulous both Hendricks and new to me Nordes gin, and chocolate martinis are solid. Steaks were well cooked and salted and side dishes were large.. go for the coleslaw.

The worst meal of my life. New Year’s Eve 2022. Set menu, had to send back nearly every dish. Food quality was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Staff were fantastic, drinks were great.

Had a great meal! The sides, drinks and service were all excellent. I had the dry aged ribeye and I'd say it was a good steak. The people saying the steak was amazing have not been to many steakhouses.
